<![CDATA[National Examination is one of the indicators of school quality. Therefore, efforts to improve the national exam results are important for schools as part of quality assurance. This study aims to find out the strategy of SMP Al Irsyad Al Islamyyah Purwokerto in improving the results of National Examination. This is a qualitative study with a case study approach. Source of the data are informants and document archives. Data were obtained through interview and documentation and their validity was achieved through triangulation of source. Steps of data analysis were data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The strategy in improving the results of national examination conducted by SMP Al Irsyad has been good enough, covering academic fields (academic matriculation, afternoon tutoring, try out, intensive study guidance, peer tutor and night study) and non-academic field (commitment day, inviting inspirative figures, fun class managers, out bond and prayer together before the National Examination); (2) Optimal implementation of strategies that have been arranged; (3) The obstacles related to improving the national exam results are: students' boredom, students' different characters, and weather conditions.]]>

<![CDATA[Arabic is the language of Muslim’s holy book, and reading it is obligatory for Muslims. In Islamic education, Arabic is the language that should be mastered as a means of understanding the original texts of the source of Islamic law. One of the important thing in learning Arabic is the method. Zam-Zam Muhammadiyyah Modern Islamic Boarding School implements a diffent model and method of learning Arabic compared to other Islamic boarding schools in the district of Cilongok. This is a qualitative research, through a case study using interview, observation and documentation techniques for collecting data and interactive analysis for analying data. The findings of this research are three models of Arabic learning in Pondok Pesantren. The first model is khiwar or muhadatsah, the second is mufrodat walls intended to make students familiar with Arabic vocabulary, and the third is Lughoh. The method and model of Arabic learning in the institution as described above is a combined method. There are at least three methods used, i.e. Communicative Problem-Based Learning Method, Audiolingual Method, and Grammar-Translation Method.]]>

<![CDATA[The study was aimed at describing the management function of extracurricular activities in Al Irsyad 01 Elementary School of Purwokerto along with supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of such activities. This is a qualitative descriptive research with case study as research approach. Data collection is done by in-depth interview, documentation, and participant observation. To maintain the validity of the data, this study uses extension opt-in techniques, observational persistence and triangulation. The findings of this study indicate the existence of an extracurricular activity program conducted by the school for one academic year, the existence of organizational structure on each type of extracurricular activities, including the process of planning, implemention, and evaluation of extracurricular activities.]]>

<![CDATA[As an educational institution characterized by Islam, madrasah must be able to fulfill the community needs on the education of their children in order to avoid the negative effects of technological developments. This matter will be one of the attractions for the community to send their children to madrasah. One of the efforts to realize it is by developing a religious culture among madrasahs, ie continuously practicing religious habits, so that religious values can be internalized and practiced in everyday life. Among the strategies of religious culture development that can be done is through power strategy, persuasive strategy, and normative re-educative. The first strategy was developed through a command approach and a ban or reward and punishment. The second and third strategies are developed through habituation, exemplary, and persuasive approach or inviting to its citizens in a subtle way. In practice, the implementation of the development of religious culture requires the support and active role of various implementers and stakeholders such as teachers, students, parents, communities and governments.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this research is to know the influence of teacher competence and learning strategy toward the quality of education in MTs Negeri 2 Brebes. School as a system should produce output whose capacity can be guaranteed. School output is generally measured from the level generated through the process of schooling. School performance is measured by its effectiveness, quality, productivity, efficiency, innovation, quality of work life, surplus and morale. This study examines three main variables: teacher competence, application of learning strategy and quality of education. The step of this research are defining the problem based on existing theories and the real condition, arranging instruments based on indicators, processing the data and analyzing it using statistical formulas. The results of this research are 1) there is significant influence of teacher competence to the quality of education, 2) there is significant influence of application of learning strategy to quality of education and 3) there is influence of teacher competence and implementation of learning strategy together to quality of education.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about the efforts of the principal's ability in preparing the program of educational supervision through the working group of principals KKM-based mentoring in MTS Binaan This research is a school action research. The research procedures in this study include planning, action, obeservation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. The subjects consisted of 3 headmasters of /MTS Binaan. Research data was collected using obeservation sheets. Data were analyzed using percentages. The result of the research indicates that KKM based on Mentoring can improve the ability of headmaster in preparing the education supervision program in MTS Binaan. This is evidenced by the increase in the ability of the principal in preparing the education supervision program from cycle I to cycle II. The average ability of headmaster in preparing the education supervision program in cycle I is 73.17 with enough category and in cycle II is 84.29 with good category]]>

<![CDATA[This paper aims to describe the model of learning outcomes of learners in the assessment of the 2013 curriculum using excel aplication spreadsheet. Utilization of spreadsheet of excel aplication in processing learners’ learning results in Curriculum 2013 is based on several considerations, among others are the changes of assessment pattern from just displaying value in the form of numbers into numeric value accompanied by descriptive achievement of student competence, which require high accuracy for teacher to record descriptive achievement learning outcomes of learners; implementation of thematic learning accompanied by reports of learning outcomes using a subject approach requires an analytical step in mapping into subject content; speed and accuracy in data processing can lead to progress in the service of report cards; and the development of technology and computer information allows to help simplify the process of assessing the learners’ learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[Classroom management is an activity or effort to overcome a problem, which is aimed at creating and maintaining a classroom atmosphere that effectively supports the learning program. Effective learning can be done by creating students’ motivation to always be involved and participate in the learning process in the classroom. Creating an effective learning atmosphere can be done through creating a sense of comfort, fun and motivation so as to encourage students to learn. Therefore, success in student learning process must be supported by a competent teacher. The success in improving the effectiveness of the learning process in classroom management needs a teacher who is active (reading a lot) in mastering the material comprehensively, can control the information so as not to be obsolete, has work commitment (sincere, diligent and not easy to complain), and is able to be the model of his/her students.]]>

The power of leadership results in various policies and operational work guided by the vision of the organization. An organization that wants to move forward and competitively must have a clear vision and can be understood by all members. A truly visionary leader is required to have a clear goal or vision to be achieved by his organization or himself. <![CDATA[Inclusive education provides educational services based on the variation of learners potential in an educational institution. This service is very suitable for children with special needs that has unique individual characteristics. The implementation of inclusive education is currently not aligned with national schooling systems that tend to implement a standardized service system. The term of standard service is the equal treatments for each individual and the learning completeness with the benchmarks of the national standard. In relation to the condition of children with special needs, who has various limitations and learning needs, the implementation of inclusive education requires curriculum modification, learning strategy, learning assessment system and school management in accordance with the needs for children with special needs.]]>
