Abstract

Delivery of goods that used to be usually done through the post office, now has serious competitors, namely private delivery service companies such as JNE, J&T Ekspress, SiCepat, Ninja Express, and so on. This study aims to explain how digital governance is implemented at the North Padang District post office. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of the study show that the Sub-Branch Post Office has implemented digital service governance. The application used by the post office is Pospay, and in its application there are several obstacles encountered such as network problems and there are still many ordinary people who do not understand the use of the Pospay application. So it can be concluded that the Pospay application is very useful for the community because with this application the community can pay various types of bills such as electricity bills, home and postpaid telephones, PDAM, vehicle installments, and so on.

Abstract

There is a pest of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) with the most common cases being onion caterpillars and purple spot which must be controlled to get good yields. This study aims to determine the properties of the stability of the model by examining the stability analysis by determining the model equation, equilibrium point, basic reproduction number, analysis of the equilibrium point by linearization of the Jacobian matrix to obtain eigenvalues ​​and stability properties. The simulation shows the effect of pesticide treatment using the fourth order Runge-Kutta method and the Matlab program. There are two equilibrium points: (1) Point (E0) free of pests and diseases is stable if R0 < 1. (2) Endemic point (E1) is stable if R0 > 1. The simulation shows that the greater the pesticide treatment, the faster the susceptible population and infected decreased, the faster the recovering population has increased.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between husband's support and delivery assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic in Sekolaq Darat District. This type of research is an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers giving birth from January to December 2021. Sampling in this study used the Purposive Sampling technique and a total of 64 respondents were obtained. Data collection was carried out by interviewing and using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the chi square test to determine the relationship between variables. The results of the hypothesis test obtained a p-value of 0.00 (<0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between husband's support and delivery assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic in Sekolaq Darat District.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the catalytic conversion of 1-octadecanol compounds into 1-octadecene alkanes at high temperatures (400oC) in a fluidized bed reactor. The research results obtained are as follows; Hydrogenation of 1-octadecanol was carried out in a fluidized bed reactor. The hydrogenation of 1-octadecanol was carried out in a fluidized bed reactor at a temperature of 400oC with 10 g of ZSiA catalyst and 10 g of pure 1-octadecanol reactant.The results of the study showed the following results: catalytic hydrogenation of 1-octadecanol with ZSiA catalyst at 400oC produced alkanes and alkenes in the chain length range up to C18 reaching 49.60% and the dominant compound produced was 1-octadecene with a relative concentration of up to 20 ,21 %.

Abstract

Research on the effect of acid treatment on the opening of the pore mouths on the surface of the zeolite catalyst has been carried out. The preparation of the zeolite catalyst was carried out through the processes of soaking, calcination, oxidation and reduction. Initially, the zeolite was soaked for 3 hours in distilled water, then drained and crushed until its size passed a 100 mesh sieve, followed by a calcination process with nitrogen for 5 hours. Then proceed with oxidation for 3 hours followed by a reduction process for 2 hours with hydrogen. Furthermore, the catalyst was impregnated with Ni from the salt Ni.(NO3).6H2O After that the catalyst is stored and placed in a desiccator. Then an analysis of the catalyst obtained with AAS was carried out to determine the content of Na, Ca, Fe, Mg and K cations, and the content of Al and Si. Then continued with the analysis of acidity with gravimetric method and continued with analysis with the BET method to determine the specific surface area and pore size distribution. Furthermore, the catalyst is used in the catalytic cracking process at various temperatures.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out whether the Two Stay Two Stray learning model influences the mathematical communication skills of class VIII students of SMP Swasta Katolik Budi Murni 2 Medan. The type of research used in this study is a Quasi Experiment or quasi-experiment with the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research design. Based on the output, the significance value of 2-tailed Equal variances assumed is 0.035. Where 0.035 <0.05, based on the test criteria, H0 is rejected or accepted Ha, which means that there is an influence of the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication abilities. After that the results of the Mean posttest showed that the Mean posttest for the experimental class was 74.34 while the Mean Posttest for the control class was 68.75, where 74.34 > 68.75. This means that the mathematical communication ability of the experimental class is higher than that of the control class. Based on the research results, it is hoped that teachers can apply the TSTS type cooperative learning model to improve students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the marketing strategy is used in an effort to increase the income of welding workshops in the Sanggrahan Environment.  This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research.  Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews.  Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis.  It was concluded that the marketing strategy implemented by the welding shop for iron products was to maintain product quality, provide price discounts, strategic locations for welding workshops and promote products by means of personal selling, giving business cards and finally promotion through the Facebook group.  Because he always prioritizes product quality, has the principle of honesty, and does not make a habit of swearing when trading and always pays attention to buying and selling contracts.  This can happen because it is supported by several factors that can trigger an increase in the income of the welding shop, welding must pay attention to operational conditions both in terms of marketing strategy and recruiting professional employees.

Abstract

The research aims to determine how much influence the environment has on work productivity at PT Ekspres Transportasi Antarbenua. This research is a quantitative research. The population includes employees who work at PT Ekspres Transportasi Antarbenua and a sample of 32 respondents. The data analysis technique uses simple regression analysis which is processed using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) For Windows release 26.0. The results of the study prove that there is a significant influence between the work environment on work productivity at PT Ekspres Transportasi Antarbenua. The t test results prove 0.000 <0.05, which means the significant value is less than 0.05. The results of the coefficient of determination R2 is 0.462 which can be concluded that the work environment affects work productivity by 46.2% while the remaining 53.8% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to increase the ability to solve mathematical problems through the application of Index Card Match learning strategies. The subjects in this study were 16 students in class IX A at Karya Bunda Mandiri Middle School. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The results of the problem solving ability test increased from the initial test, cycle I and cycle II. In the classical pre-test 4 students (25%) passed and the average pre-test ability was 49.4 with a very low level of ability. In the first cycle, there was an increase classically, 7 students (43.75%) completed and the average ability test was obtained 61.2 with a low level of ability. Then in the second cycle test experienced an increase classically 14 students (87.5%) completed and the average ability was obtained 78.7 with a moderate level of ability. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Index Card Match learning strategy can improve students' problem solving abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills using the developed Desmos Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) based on Problem Based Learning, student responses after using the Desmos E-LKPD, and the practicality of Desmos-based E-LKPD Problem-Based Learning was developed. From the research results it is known that: (1) Based on the aspect of critical thinking skills, the aspect of interpretation increases by 9%, the aspect of analysis increases by 18%, the aspect of evaluation increases by 42%, and the aspect of inference increases by 48%. (2) The results of the students' answers are included in the good category with a proportion of 80.31%. (3) The Problem Based Learning-based E-LKPD Desmos that has been developed has met the effective criteria in terms of the assessment of media experts, material experts, and user experts in the valid category, classical learning completeness has reached 80.65%, and Gain results of 0 .5 with medium category. The practicality test results get 92.18% in the very practical category.
