Abstract

The Merdang Merdem tradition or better known as the year's work is an activity or party that is routinely carried out every year as a form of thanksgiving and praying. The purpose of this research is to explain that in the midst of modernization like today, the Merdang Merdem tradition is still carried out, especially in the Karo community in Sukambayak Village, Tiga Panah District, Karo Regency. Although there are some changes in its implementation. In addition, this research is expected to explore the collective memory of the community so that traditions and local wisdom can still be maintained, and not escape from memory. The method used in this research is the historical method with four stages, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and writing or historiography. The results showed that the implementation of the Merdang Merdem tradition which is routinely carried out every July is also closely related to the existence of the quarry pin tradition in karo society which is oriented towards mystical beliefs or shamans. In addition, the Merdang Merdem tradition is not only about the cohesiveness of the village community but is also closely related to the pride of the village migrants who are involved as providers of funds for the continuity of the party. The implementation of this tradition also involves the role of the local government as a mediator for the community so that the Merdang Merdem tradition is still sustainable today.

Abstract

Lembaga keuangan seperti bank, pada umumnya memiliki beberapa permasalahan tersendiri, seperti halnya berbagai macam permasalahan kredit. Dalam praktik perbankan, tidak semua agunan sertipikat dapat langsung dibebani Hak Tanggungan karena adanya kondisi tertentu. Notaris/PPAT akan terlebih dahulu membuat syarat-syarat yang diperlukan untuk sertipikat hak atas tanah yang tidak langsung dapat dibebani dengan Hak Tanggungan. Namun, tidak jarang ditemukan pinjaman yang macet kurang dari 3 (tiga) bulan, sehingga memilih masa berlaku SKMHT yang terlalu pendek dapat menimbulkan risiko bagi bank. Bagaimana posisi bank sebagai kreditur sehubungan dengan sertifikat tanah? merupakan salah satu potensi masalah yang dapat muncul. Penulis menggunakan penelitian yuridis normatif untuk penelitian ini dengan melihat setiap aturan dan ketetapan yang berlaku untuk SKMHT. Strategi penelitian yang digunakan adalah gabungan dari pendekatan legislatif dan konseptual.

Abstract

A traditional house is one of the inheritances by a tribe or clan to generations. Each traditional house in Indonesia has its own characteristics and has different meanings and uses. In Karo, North Sumatra, Siwaluh Jabu is a traditional house filled with 8 families. Inside this house there are rules that must be followed by all members of the house. The cultural heritage place of this Siwaluh Jabu house is located right in Lingga Village. However, of the dozens of traditional houses, only two remain, one of which is still occupied by several families. Siwaluh Jabu traditional house tourism in this area also cooperates with the government and foreign parties. However, the condition of the traditional house and its surroundings remains poor for tourism. The research method used in this paper is interviews and relevant written sources. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemecahan masalah siswa pada pembelajaran matemtika materi bilangan bulat kelas IV SD N 1 Sidigede. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD N 1 Sidigede. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh desikripsi kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa belum dapat mengungkapkan ide secara lisan maupun tulisan. Kemampuan penalaran siswa juga belum berkembang karena fokus pada masalah rutin dengan satu jawaban yang benar atau langkah penyelesaian yang jelas. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah tidak dapat dicapai dengan cepat, melainkan melalui latihan berkelanjutan yang tidak hanya menghafal rumus dan mengerjakan soal rutin.

Abstract

This study examines the legend of Putri Hijau in Seberaya Village, Tiga Panah District, Karo Regency and its role in local history writing. This study aims to find out the version of the Seberaya Village version of the Putri Hijau legend and the relics found in Seberaya Village. This article contains a novelty in it because it has a different perspective on Putri Hijau compared to previous writings, using the point of view of the karo community in Seberaya Village. This study uses the historical method which has 4 stages, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The type of research used is qualitative research by making in-depth observations. The formulation of the problems in this study are: (1) what is the connection between the legend of Putri Hijau and the local history of Seberaya Village?, (2) what are the legacies of the legend of Putri Hijau found in Seberaya Village?. It can be seen from the results of this research that Putri Hijau was born and grew up in Seberaya Village, she grew into a very beautiful girl. It is believed that Putri Hijau is still in Seberaya Village and will continue to protect the village from evil disturbances and disasters. Abstract

Di Kecamatan Tigapanah Kabupaten Karo, Desa Seberaya, berdiri sebuah landmark bersejarah bernama Benteng Putri Hijau. Penelitian arkeologi mengungkapkan bahwa situs Putri Hijau merupakan peninggalan Kerajaan Aru yang sebelumnya memerintah Sumatera Timur dan merupakan cikal bakal Kerajaan Deli. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah yang bersifat deskriptif. Diceritakan bahwa Putri Hijau adalah seorang putri yang lahir di sebuah gua di lingkungan Seberaya, Kecamatan Tigapanah, Kabupaten Karo, menurut temuan penelitian ini. Putri Hijau yang ada di desa Seberaya sebagai bukti sejarah yang diyakini masyarakat yang mengandung nilai sejarah. Nilai tersebut sangat berhubungan dengan kehidupan masyarakat Seberaya. Adapun peninggalan dari situs Putri Hijau adalah 1) makam Putri Hijau, 2) Pancur Gading, 3) pemandian Putri Hijau, dan 4) gua Putri Hijau. Situs ini sudah jarang dikunjungi oleh wisatawan karena situs tersebut kurang terawat, hal ini disebabkan kurang adanya dukungan dari pemerintah. Sejauh ini yang dapat dilihat dari pelestarian situs Putri Hijau hanya pada pembuatan jalan dan pembersihan sederhana yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Migrant employees are individuals who work outside their residential areas. Migrant employees not only have to fulfill their tasks and responsibilities as employees but also need to be able to face various challenges as migrants, such as building social relationships in a new environment to gain social support that can suppress feelings of loneliness. This study is a quantitative research aimed at determining the influence of social support on loneliness in migrant employees. The respondents consisted of 81 migrant employees at PT. X who had been working for less than one year. The respondents was selected using purposive sampling technique. Loneliness was measured using a questionnaire based on the theory of Perlman and Peplau, which was modified and adapted from the scale developed by Wanda. Social support was measured using a questionnaire based on the theory of Sarafino and Smith, which was modified and adapted from the scale developed by Ariani. The loneliness scale has a reliability coefficient of 0.887, and the social support scale has a reliability coefficient of 0.876. Based on the data processed using SPSS 25, the coefficient value t = -7.175 and sig (p) = 0.000 (p<0.01), which means that there is a negative influence of social support on loneliness among migrant employees
