Abstract

In the current technological era, computer technology is increasingly dominating, the role of the computer has now shifted from being used as a calculating machine, now it has penetrated the business world. Many business processes of business owners utilize information technology as an effective and attractive promotional medium. One of them on the CV. PAS TIM is still promoting in general, namely by displaying 2D images using magazines. Therefore the research created a promotional media application program based on augmented reality, where the application functions as a sales promotion media for container models by displaying 3D objects on samples that have been installed with markers, so that with the application of augmented reality technology this makes an attractive promotional media. The methodology used is MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) which has several stages including concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution. Then alpha testing using the Black Box Testing method. From the results of this design, it produces an augmented reality-based sales promotion media application that is interactive, effective and can attract the interest of potential customers.

Abstract

Making games that use artificial intelligence can be a special attraction for players. Games can be used as learning media. Educational games suitable for children to play using a two-dimensional style/gameplay with lots of text or drag & drop. This research aims to make a game to introduce one of the characteristics of Indonesian culture by applying a finite state machine, an abstract machine which at a certain time can be in one of a number of finite states. A game was created and named Alpha Utopia. The game development life cycle method used consists of initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, release stages. The research results obtained a game with the theme of shooting objects. The design uses Unreal Engine 4 with a three-dimensional style, using Artificial Intelligence or often called Non-Player Character. Finite State Machine is implemented for making the application. Indonesian cultural elements in the form of a keris weapon are displayed on game objects as the main weapon used against enemies in the form of virus characters. The making of this game is expected to introduce Indonesian culture and serve as a learning medium for its users.

Abstract

Errors in recruiting prospective employees can have an impact on company performance, prospective employees who are recruited need to prove their abilities and expertise. The purpose of this research is to design an integrated and easily accessible web-based prospective employee training information system that can help improve the skills of prospective employees who will be recruited. The research method used is the Rational Unified Process (RUP) with the stages of Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition with system modeling using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), namely UseCase Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Class Diagrams. This research resulted in a system design and Web-Based Candidate Training Information System with available features including information on training data, training registration data, training materials, assignment assessments, and training management. This research was conducted at one of the service companies in information technology in Garut Regency, namely CV. Asgardian Techno Service. Using an information system for prospective employee training is made into a solution for companies to improve the quality of employees through training that can be accessed by both participants, mentors and decision makers.

Abstract

Some of the natural disasters in Indonesia are floods, earthquakes, eruptions and others. In dealing with this, the classification of types of disasters is very crucial to determine appropriate steps and plans. Technology can be used to facilitate the grouping process, one of which is by utilizing text mining techniques. Clustering of information is done by entering into several clusters on the basis of interrelationships between words using the K-Means algorithm. In this study, it aims to produce a model for grouping natural disasters in Indonesia by applying the K-Means algorithm. The analysis is based on data from community comments about natural disasters on social media Twitter. The use of the text mining method with the RStudio application succeeded in grouping natural disasters based on their potential and type from community commentary data on Twitter social media. After carrying out text cleaning, text processing, and the TF-IDF method, it is known that floods and earthquakes are the highest natural disaster topics from data mining. The unsupervised method with the K-Means algorithm is used to build topic groups based on the distance between words. The evaluation was carried out using the Sum of Square Error and Silhoutte Coefficient methods, and obtained an accuracy of 75.0% and 96.7%. The conclusion is that the K-Means algorithm is successful in building topic groups based on the distance between words in the community's commentary data about natural disasters on Twitter.

Abstract

Fast and effective handling of internet network disturbances is very important in maintaining the quality of internet services. This study aims to increase the effectiveness of handling internet network disturbances using the Telegram Bot as a supporting tool in repairing internet network disturbances. This research involves internet subscribers who have experienced disturbances and internet network technicians who are responsible for handling these disturbances. The research method used is experimental by using the Telegram Bot as a supporting tool. The results of the study show that the use of the Telegram Bot can increase the effectiveness of handling internet network disturbances by providing real-time disturbance messages to the technicians who are responsible for handling disturbances for follow-up. Therefore, the use of Telegram Bot can increase the reliability of data communication in handling internet network disturbances and speed up the recovery time for internet networks that are experiencing disruptions.

Abstract

The large number of activities and the number of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) that must be reported makes it difficult for the government to evaluate the performance of workers. The purpose of this study was to design an information system for monitoring and reporting ASN performance in Leles District using the Scrum methodology where this technique can be used for overall system development, partial system development, and internal/customer projects. With the results of the system in the form of designing web-based and Android applications. The modeling uses the unified modeling language (UML), namely use cases, class diagrams, interfaces and prototypes. This research is only limited to the performance report of the state civil apparatus until the validation process by the supervisor until the report is complete. Using this information and monitoring system can reduce the time it takes to send physical evidence of ASN performance to supervisors and reduce the possibility of errors or lack of reporting evidence.

Abstract

Bagja Printing is a business engaged in manufacturing DTF printing t-shirts. In its company activities, Bagja Printing determines the need for raw materials for production, which is still based on estimates. So that there is often a delay in the production process due to a shortage of raw materials in the middle of the production process. The priority in production is to make a change in planning if there is a shortage of raw materials, because it can cause delays in production activities. Needs planning as part of raw material supply services, which can control the use of raw materials for a product, if too much exceeds the raw material budget will result in bad installments for the company. The aim of this research is to solve problems in planning raw material requirements by designing an information system for planning raw material requirements. The strategy used in business processes is to implement a product production system according to orders (Make to Order) and the lot sizing method (lot for lot) as a plan to meet the needs of raw materials to be ordered from suppliers. The software engineering used is the waterfall method, the stages of which consist of planning, requirements analysis, system design, programming and testing. The result of the creation of this information system is that it makes it easier to monitor raw material needs, obtain inventory information and raw material allocation and obtain accurate information according to reality.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology today has become a primary need in society, one of which is a system for practicing a series of amaliyah worship in people who believe in the Suryalaya Qadiriyah Naqsabandiyah Order (TQN), while there is still a lot of amaliyah data that has not been computerized in data collection resulting in laziness to carried anywhere and is not effective for memorizing the amaliyah of the Qadiriyah Naqsabandiyah Order (TQN) Suryalaya. This application is a murshid amaliyah learning application which consists of daily dhikr, khataman, manaqiban and styles of the Koran letters which are often read during fardhu prayers, so that people can make it easier to read and memorize the practice of the tarekat qadiriyah naqsabandiyah (TQN) Suryalaya anywhere, the application it was designed with android studio using the java programming language with blackbox testing. The research was conducted by collecting data through literature and interviews. This research produced an amaliyah mursyid application for the Suryalaya Qadiriyah Naqsabandiyah (TQN) congregation along with practices, styles of the Qur'an and Manaqiban recitation locations using Google Maps. This application is expected to make it easier for the congregation or the community of the Qadiriyah Naqsabandiyah (TQN) Suryalaya order to read and memorize the practices of the murshid.

Abstract

In the current era of information technology, digital signatures are used as a mathematical method to identify a person or document electronically. This digital signature provides proof that the document was sent by an identified sender, and ensures the authenticity and validity of the information. The application of digital signatures, including in tertiary institutions such as the Faculty of Economics, University of Garut, can increase efficiency and change the way administrative services are carried out. Document authenticity can be verified online through a verification system that validates information. Thus, the use of digital signatures is expected to ensure document authenticity while increasing work effectiveness. This research uses the Scrum methodology, one of the Agile methodologies in product development. Scrum consists of sprint milestones that are done in no more than a month without breaks and are time-boxed. This methodology ensures an understanding of time limits and work cycles. The research stages consist of A1 Initiate, A2 Planning and Estimating, A3 Implementing, A4 Retrospect and Reviewing, and A5 Releasing. These stages are well organized to arrive at findings that are supported by scientific analysis on a regular basis. Activities in these stages include defining the project vision, building the Scrum team, user stories, sprint backlog, evaluating the sprint backlog, weekly meetings, updating the sprint backlog, reviewing and validating previous sprints, technical documentation, and application system submission. The survey results show that the Scrum methodology ranks third in the survey results with 20.3% of respondents using the Scrum methodology in the software development process.

Abstract

Polyclinic is a health facility for health services, which consists of basic medical or specialist medical. In a polyclinic there is a media queue as the serial number of the patient from the first to the last. In processing the queue still uses paper, with an average number of patients who come as many as 10 to 15 people per day the queue process takes quite a long time, this sometimes makes patients complain because the queue and registration process is quite time consuming. The purpose of this study is to create a queuing system that can make it easier for patients and staff at the polyclinic, with a queuing system that can provide smoothness and convenience in handling queues. In compiling this research for data collection conducting observations, interviews, and queuing system applications using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method. This method has four phases, namely inception, elaboration, construction, and transition, where modeling is using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), while for making applications using Python and MySQL as databases. In the end, this research resulted in a queuing system application that can be accessed via an online web browser. This application is expected to help the internal medicine polyclinic at the Tk hospital. IV. 03.07.04 Guntur to minimize piles of patient queues.
