Abstract

This study examines the distribution of internet users in Indonesia, focusing on geographical, demographic, and socio-economic factors affecting the digital divide. Data from APJII (2023), BPS, and other sources reveal that despite over 200 million internet users, significant disparities exist between urban and rural areas. Key factors contributing to this divide include limited infrastructure, high access costs, and low digital literacy. The younger age group (15-35 years) dominates internet usage, while older adults and low-income communities face access barriers. Most internet usage is concentrated on communication and entertainment, with productive activities such as online learning and business transactions remaining underutilized. These findings underscore the need for collaboration among the government, private sector, and communities to address the digital divide through infrastructure development, internet subsidies, and inclusive digital literacy programs.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology has driven the need for curricula responsive to digital challenges. This study analyzes the implementation of Computing Curricula 2020 (CC2020) in higher education, focusing on curriculum transformation and its impact on student skills. Through document analysis, learning process observations, and graduate competency evaluations, the study found that CC2020 effectively integrates theory and practice, emphasizing technical and soft skills. Key findings include enhanced problem-solving, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adaptability to global workplaces, alongside the relevance of new programs like Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. Challenges include infrastructure limitations and teacher training needs. This research contributes to the development of relevant and comprehensive IT curricula.

Abstract

The speed of mobile networks is a key factor in determining the quality of service provided by operators in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the distribution of average mobile network speeds in Indonesia, based on data obtained from Speedtest by Ookla. The method employed in this research is descriptive statistical analysis to calculate the average download speed, upload speed, and latency across various network providers, namely Telkomsel, XL, IM3 Ooredoo, and Smartfren. The results indicate that Telkomsel achieved the highest download speed with an average of 42.33 Mbps, followed by other providers. Additionally, there is significant variation in internet speeds across regions, with South Jakarta exhibiting higher speeds compared to other areas. This study provides an overview of mobile network performance, which can serve as a reference for users and service providers to improve network quality in the future.

Abstract

The internet of things system aims to facilitate its users and also lighten human work to be more efficient, practical and can be easily controlled using a smartphone. This study aims to create an IoT system for aquarium ponds for cultivation in betta fish farming and its location is in the city of Semarang, more precisely in the village of Lempongsar Semarang. With the implementation of this IoT system, it is expected to help the cultivation of betta fish to the maximum. From the results of the study, the system can be used well, which is proven by the results obtained from the expert validation test, namely 75% which means valid. Because it is located in the validity criteria of 51% -75%. The results obtained from the validation test of betta fish farming managers are 80% which means very feasible. Because it is located in the feasibility criteria of 76% -100%

Abstract

This study examines the distribution differences between the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) and Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) in Indonesia. Statistical data from 2023, sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics, are analyzed using the Google Colaboratory platform. This cloud-based tool enables efficient data computation and visualization. The research utilizes a quantitative approach to calculate and explore provincial disparities in OUR and LFPR over two key periods, February and August 2023. Findings reveal distinct trends: some provinces experienced a rise in unemployment, while others observed significant labor market participation growth. The results contribute to labor policy planning and provide a model for similar analyses. However, limitations such as incomplete data and unaccounted external factors should be noted.

Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education is increasingly widespread, particularly among students, to support learning processes. This study aims to analyze the impact of AI usage on students' critical thinking skills. The methods employed include qualitative interviews and observations, as well as quantitative surveys. The findings reveal that AI enhances learning efficiency and access to information; however, excessive reliance on AI may reduce students' independence and critical thinking abilities. While most students find AI features helpful in understanding material, such dependence diminishes efforts in reflection and independent analysis. The study highlights the importance of blending AI usage with the development of independent cognitive skills to maximize technological benefits without compromising critical thinking capabilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the proportion of adolescents and adults aged 15-24 years with information and computer technology (ICT) skills in Indonesia during the period 2021-2023. The data used comes from the official publication of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) covering 38 provinces. The results show that the proportion of ICT skills nationally has increased, from 91.83% in 2021 to 94.31% in 2023. Provinces in the Java and Bali regions, such as DI Yogyakarta (98.95%) and Central Java (97.88%), have the highest proportion. In contrast, eastern regions of Indonesia, such as Papua (36.81%) and Maluku (82.80%), show lower proportions. Further analysis reveals that factors such as access to digital infrastructure, education levels and urbanization play an important role in influencing the disparity in ICT skills between regions. These disparities reflect inequalities in education equity and access to technology in Indonesia, which need to be addressed in policy formulation. Improved digital infrastructure, provision of community-based training, and collaboration between the government and private sector are recommended to support ICT skills development in areas with limited access. With these strategic efforts, it is expected that all Indonesian adolescents and young adults can have equal digital skills to support competitiveness and productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of professional ethics in the Informatics Engineering practicum at Universitas Palangka Raya. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving interviews, observations, and an analysis of practicum guidelines. The findings indicate that while students have a basic understanding of professional ethics, such as responsibility toward users and data integrity, their deeper understanding of applying ethics within the practicum context remains limited. Supervision of ethics implementation presents a significant challenge, with violations such as tardiness and dishonesty in reporting observed. However, group discussions on ethical challenges indicate positive efforts to raise ethical awareness among students. This study recommends strengthening the socialization of professional ethics throughout the education process, enhancing supervision, and updating practicum guidelines by incorporating ethical decision-making simulations in various practicum scenarios.

Abstract

The marketing budget planning information system at PT WSI has not been equipped with a marketing budget planning system. In the absence of a marketing budget planning system, it is difficult to input future data and the number of revenue targets that have been achieved. The author hopes that the Marketing Cost Analysis Accounting Information System can make it easier for owners to make decisions, especially for more regular data management which will affect the company's finances for the better and can determine and know the amount of the budget plan and revenue that has been achieved in a certain period.

Abstract

A well-organized system is essential for helping a company grow. With a properly managed system, activities such as services, sales, and purchases can run more smoothly. However, RYN Mandiri Motor Workshop still relies on manual methods, such as recording transactions with pen and paper or a calculator. This approach often takes a lot of time, is prone to errors, and hinders the management of finances and spare part inventory. Implementing an accrual-based accounting information system can be a solution to address these issues. This system will simplify transaction recording, inventory management, and financial reporting. In addition to speeding up and streamlining processes, it also enables the owner to monitor the company's financial condition and make more accurate decisions.
