Abstract

Chatbots have become integral components of modern digital services, facilitating efficient and responsive interactions between users and technology. As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to shape the way businesses engage with customers, the development of interactive chatbots is increasingly essential for improving user experience. This study focuses on the implementation of the Naive Bayes algorithm to build an interactive chatbot using Python. The Naive Bayes algorithm, a simple yet powerful machine learning model, is designed to classify user input based on identified keywords or text patterns. By leveraging this algorithm, the chatbot can provide accurate and relevant responses that align with user queries. The primary goal of this study is to enhance chatbot functionality by utilizing Naive Bayes for improved classification and response generation. Python is chosen as the programming language due to its flexibility, extensive library support, and robust capabilities in handling text processing tasks. The study demonstrates that the Naive Bayes algorithm is not only efficient in terms of implementation but also highly effective in delivering personalized and contextually appropriate interactions. Additionally, it emphasizes the algorithm's speed and simplicity, making it a valuable tool for creating responsive and intelligent chatbots. Ultimately, the findings of this research suggest that Naive Bayes plays a crucial role in advancing chatbot technology by improving the accuracy and quality of responses in real-time communication.

Abstract

Promotional activities are carried out by companies to inform and give consumers confidence about the product. Promotional media, such as brochures, are used to introduce products or services to the public. An attractive brochure design will make it easier for the product to be known and reach various groups. Brochures contain information about the company, products, services, or recent changes. A clear and attractive brochure design is expected to attract the attention of new customers and increase public interest in buying. Therefore, designing advertising media for UMKM Pesona Semilan Ringan Semarang is important.

Abstract

Batang Regency features diverse geographical characteristics, including coastal areas, lowlands, and mountains, which make it vulnerable to various natural disasters such as floods, landslides, and volcanic eruptions. The increasing activity of sand and stone mining along rivers has further exacerbated environmental degradation, heightening the risk of such disasters. To address this issue, a system is needed to help the local government accurately classify disaster-prone areas. A Geographic Information System (GIS) for disaster risk mapping serves as an effective solution to identify and visualise vulnerable locations across Batang Regency. This system supports disaster prevention, response, and targeted aid distribution. With public access to the system, it also promotes data transparency, strengthens community trust in the local government, and raises public awareness of potential disaster threats in their surroundings.

Abstract

Payroll in a company is one of the activities that has a very important role in the development of information technology. In a company, the payroll system is a very important activity because payroll is related to the payment of wages that employees are entitled to. In technological developments, currently many companies use computerized payroll data processing. The treasurer records and processes data for payment of employee salaries for the contributions they make to the company and prepares employee payroll reports to be submitted to company leadership. The payroll system and calculation of PPh Article 21 at PT Utama Farma Kendal has problems in processing employee salary data and calculation of PPh Article 21 using Microsoft which is vulnerable to master confusion due to user carelessness. Apart from that, it has weaknesses in data security because it can be easily accessed so it is prone to data manipulation. This research aims to develop a payroll information system and calculation of PPh Article 21 at PT Utama Farma Kendal using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of this research conclude that the existence of a payroll system and calculation of PPh Article 21 can facilitate the performance of finance officers who are responsible for the process of calculating employee salaries.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital, khususnya dalam bidang Internet of Things (IoT) dan Artificial Intelligence (AI), telah mengubah cara perusahaan manufaktur mengelola rantai pasokan (supply chain) mereka. Sistem pengelolaan rantai pasokan yang efisien sangat penting untuk memastikan kelancaran operasi dan mengurangi biaya dalam industri yang sangat kompetitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh integrasi IoT dan AI terhadap pengelolaan rantai pasokan dalam industri manufaktur, dengan fokus pada peningkatan efisiensi, pengelolaan inventaris, dan pengurangan biaya operasional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan analisis deskriptif dengan studi kasus pada beberapa perusahaan manufaktur yang telah mengimplementasikan teknologi IoT dan AI dalam sistem pengelolaan rantai pasokan mereka. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, survei, serta observasi terhadap penerapan kedua teknologi tersebut dalam berbagai aspek rantai pasokan, seperti pemantauan real-time inventaris, prediksi permintaan, serta manajemen pengiriman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi IoT dan AI mampu memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan visibilitas rantai pasokan, memungkinkan pengelolaan inventaris yang lebih akurat dan responsif terhadap perubahan permintaan pasar. Selain itu, teknologi ini juga berkontribusi dalam pengurangan biaya operasional, pengoptimalkan proses produksi, dan meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan melalui pengiriman yang lebih cepat dan tepat waktu. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa tantangan, seperti kesiapan infrastruktur yang diperlukan, biaya implementasi yang tinggi, serta kebutuhan akan keterampilan sumber daya manusia yang lebih terampil dalam mengelola dan menganalisis data yang dihasilkan. Kesimpulannya, penerapan IoT dan AI dalam pengelolaan rantai pasokan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing industri manufaktur. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan wawasan dan rekomendasi praktis bagi perusahaan dalam mengintegrasikan kedua teknologi tersebut untuk mencapai pengelolaan rantai pasokan yang lebih baik dan lebih adaptif terhadap dinamika pasar.

Abstract

Social and economic disparities between regions in Indonesia are still a serious problem, reflected in the high Gini Ratio and disparities in purchasing power. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is an important indicator in measuring consumption patterns and price pressures between regions. This study aims to cluster 150 districts/cities based on consumption patterns through the CPI using the Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) and Spectral Clustering methods combined with Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The innovation lies in the comparison of the two clustering methods as well as the application of PCA to clarify the data structure. Evaluation with Silhouette Score and Davies-Bouldin Index showed that AHC gave the best results with four representative clusters (Silhouette: 0.76; DBI: 0.32), compared to Spectral Clustering with three clusters (Silhouette: 0.75; DBI: 0.54). Each cluster has different expenditure characteristics, useful for data-driven policy making. These results show that AHC is more effective in capturing interregional variations in consumption.

Abstract

The ease of investing in the digital era has driven Generation Z to dominate stock market participation, particularly in blue-chip stocks such as PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI). However, stock price fluctuations influenced by macroeconomic factors, regulations, and global market sentiment make it difficult for investors to make accurate decisions. Decisions based on insufficient information pose a significant risk of loss, especially for novice investors. This study proposes a hybrid LSTM-XGBoost approach for predicting BBRI stock prices, combining the strengths of LSTM in capturing nonlinear time series patterns and XGBoost's effectiveness in reducing prediction errors. The model leverages both historical data and feature extraction outputs from the LSTM model. Future stock price values are then predicted by XGBoost using this combined dataset. The Hybrid LSTM XGBoost model outperforms the individual base models in terms of prediction accuracy, achieving an RMSE of 117.89, MAE of 92.45, and MAPE of 2.21%.

Abstract

The selection The selection process for prospective crew members is a crucial stage for the company, especially at PT. Timas Suplindo. However, it is often difficult to determine prospective crew members who are competent in their fields. The selection process for prospective crew members is considered ineffective because decision making still has to consider many aspects. The purpose of this study is to create a website-based application and make it easier for the company, especially Human Resource Development (HRD), to obtain competent crew members who meet the specified criteria. This method was chosen because the assessment process is transparent because each stage of assessment and weighting can be tracked and increases accountability in decision making. .

Abstract

Water is an essential need for human life, especially in hospitals which require a constant supply of clean water. Dr. Gunawan Mangunkusumo Regional Public Hospital, Semarang Regency, is facing problems in managing the water reservoir due to a lack of monitoring and an automatic filling system. This leads to water wastage and inconvenience. This article discusses the design of a water level detection device prototype based on the Wemos D1 Mini microcontroller to overcome this problem.3 The system utilizes the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to measure water level and display the information on an LCD and web server. The microcontroller controls the water pump automatically based on the detected water level, which is categorized into three levels: LOW, MEDIUM, and HIGH. Test results show that the system can measure water levels accurately and control the water pump effectively.This prototype is expected to assist Dr. Gunawan Mangunkusumo Regional Public Hospital in improving water management efficiency, ensuring a sustainable supply of clean water, and reducing the workload of staff

Abstract

Currently, the IEEE 802.11 standard protocol is prone to interference. Therefore, a strategy is needed to reduce or avoid intervention. Using the Nv2 Protocol at the 5 GHz frequency with bridge mode on the Point to Multipoint Network (PTMP) can be used as a solution to avoid interference. The method in this screening begins with a location survey then continues with needs analysis, topology design, network installation, network configuration and at the final stage testing is carried out. The results of the study showed that the connection between the two clients resulted in ping with a 0% loss package and the results were very good. The signal strength from the AP Bridge side to client 1 is -63 Db to client 2 is -54 Db. AP Client 1 with a Signal Strength of -63/-62dBm, Tx/Rx CCQ 9/18%. AP Client 2 with Signal Strength -54/-56 dBm, Tx/Rx CCQ 40/35%.
