Abstract

This study presents an air temperature forecasting model employing the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm to address the challenges posed by climate variability and extreme weather conditions. Historical daily temperature data from NASA POWER—collected between January 1, 2014, and December 31, 2024, in Serang City (totaling 4,018 records)—were used. The data were normalized using a min–max scaling technique and divided into training (70%) and testing (30%) sets. Multiple experimental scenarios were run by varying the number of training epochs and the hidden layer unit counts. The optimal configuration was achieved in Scenario 7, which incorporated two hidden layers, each with 50 units, and employed 30 epochs; this setup yielded a prediction accuracy of 98.4% with a Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of 27.11. The results indicate that the LSTM model effectively captures the seasonal variations and long-term trends in air temperature, making it a reliable tool for forecasting and supporting decision-making in climate adaptation strategies. Abstract

This study seeks to model a decision support information system for determining prospective beneficiaries in Kenteng Village. The settlement method used in this research is the Multi-Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP). In this MFEP method, decision making is done by giving subjective and intuitive considerations to factors that are considered important. then build an information system that can help collect data and propose prospective beneficiaries of the Ministry of Social Affairs in Kenteng Village, as well as test the decision support system. The system in this study was made using CodeIgniter using a mysql database. System design using Flowchart, ERD and UML.

Abstract

Kolega Muda Inspirasi merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur di bidang produksi pakaian dan telah bekerjasama dengan beberapa pemasok (supplier). Dalam hal memilih supplier terbaik dengan kualitas bahan twill drill yang sesuai kebutuhan, perusahaan masih kurang efektif dan efisien yang disebabkan bebrapa faktor seperti, pemilihan pemilihan pemasok masih dilakukan secara manual. Pemilihan supplier juga sering mengalami ketidakpastian karena kriteria yang digunakan tidak memiliki informasi yang cukup dan tidak memiliki nilai yang tepat. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mempercepat proses penilaian spplier, mengotomatisasi perhitungan nilai, serta mengurangi ketidakpastian dalam pemilihan pemasok. Metode SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) adalah metode yang digunakan untuk menghitung dan menentukan hasil nilai dalam pemilihan supplier terbaik. Sistem ini dibangun berbasis website dengan menggunakan model pengembangan waterfall. Hasil dari perancangan sistem penunjang keputusan dalam menentukan supplier bahan twill drill terbaik untuk PT. Kolega Muda Inspirasi, memiliki dampak positif. Sistem ini memungkinkan penilaian dan perhitungan dilakukan lebih efektif dan efisien dengan perhitungan otomatis, serta hasil akhir perhitungan yang dapat dicetak.

Abstract

Emas merupakan instrumen investasi yang banyak diminati di Indonesia, terutama saat terjadi ketidakstabilan ekonomi. Namun, volatilitas harga emas yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor makroekonomi domestik dan global membuat prediksinya menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Penelitian ini membandingkan kinerja dua model prediksi, yaitu Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) dan Support Vector Regression (SVR), dalam meramalkan harga emas jangka pendek berdasarkan data historis harian periode 2020–2025 sebanyak 1.345 data. Data diolah melalui proses normalisasi dan pembentukan data sekuensial dengan jendela waktu 60 hari. Kedua model dievaluasi menggunakan metrik regresi seperti RMSE, MAE, MSE, dan R². Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model GRU lebih unggul dibandingkan SVR dalam menangkap pola non-linear dan temporal pada data deret waktu, serta menghasilkan prediksi yang lebih akurat. Harga emas pada 7 Mei 2025 diperkirakan sebesar Rp1.736.978. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model deep learning seperti GRU memiliki potensi besar dalam analisis data keuangan dan dapat memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi investor, peneliti, dan pembuat kebijakan. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk mengintegrasikan variabel makroekonomi dan pendekatan hybrid guna meningkatkan akurasi prediksi.

Abstract

Student performance is affected by internal and external factors such as study time, absenteeism, tutoring, and parental support—factors often overlooked by traditional education methods. This study applies K-Prototypes and Agglomerative Clustering with Gower Distance to segment students using mixed-type data. Five key variables were analyzed: study time, absences, GPA, tutoring, and parental support. The Elbow Method was used to identify the optimal number of clusters, and Silhouette Score to evaluate performance. Results show K-Prototypes outperformed Agglomerative Clustering (0.332 vs 0.186). Three student segments emerged: active students with average GPA, low-risk learners, and high-achievers with minimal external support. These findings can inform more adaptive and data-driven academic interventions for education stakeholders.

Abstract

Water turbidity is a major concern in maintaining water quality for daily use. Manual monitoring of turbidity levels is often inefficient and prone to errors. This study aims to design and implement an automatic system capable of monitoring and controlling water turbidity using Arduino and fuzzy logic methods. The system employs a turbidity sensor to detect the clarity level, which is then processed through fuzzy logic to determine the activation of a water pump. The testing results show that the system can respond to turbidity changes in real-time with up to 95% accuracy. Fuzzy logic provides more adaptive control compared to binary logic approaches. This system demonstrates high effectiveness in maintaining water quality automatically, especially in environments requiring stable water clarity levels.

Abstract

This study aims to design and evaluate the feasibility of an interactive science learning media based on Android to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Mojodemak 1 Elementary School – Demak. This digital media is directed at enhancing student engagement, explaining abstract concepts, and providing a more effective and adaptive learning experience. The methodology adopts a Research and Development framework, employing the ADDIE model as its guiding structure. Across the development phase, the artifacts undergo iterative feedback cycles, first by subject-matter specialists who examine relevance and accuracy, followed by media professionals who assess design suitability and technical integrity. The research subjects consist of 60 students selected through purposive sampling. Analysis results indicate that the Android-based learning media is suitable for implementation, with an average learning improvement of 32%. Student interaction with the application shows a significant positive effect on the enhancement of learning outcomes. The research recommends the development of artificial intelligence (AI) features for more personalised learning. The coefficient of determination of 0.574 indicates that 57.4% of the variation in learning outcomes can be explained by interaction with the media. These findings imply that the use of interactive Android-based media substantially supports students' understanding of science concepts. The effectiveness of the media primarily stems from its appealing visual design, interactive features that encourage deeper exploration, and systematic presentation of materials tailored to the needs of students. This research contributes to advancements in educational technology, particularly in the design and evaluation of Android-based learning media for science education. Future research should centre on the design and testing of AI-enhanced tools that provide adaptive support for differentiated instruction.

Abstract

The research studied how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is applied to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) during the industry 5.0 period. Through a bibliometric method and complemented with a narrative review, this study systematically investigates the existing literature with a focus on trends, challenges, and opportunities brought about by the implementation of AI in workplace safety. Based on analysis of 383 publications released from well-renowned journals covering previous 5 years time frame, it was concluded that AI is pivotal in enhancing all industrial sectors' safety mechanisms. The findings indicate that AI technology can significantly enhance the safety of work environments and can lead to better health outcomes through predictive analysis and continuous monitoring. Even so, the study also uncovered major gaps, particularly regarding fair access to the benefits of AI society-wide and by industry sector. The findings of this study highlight the potential for AI to enhance OSH but recognise an urgent need for cross-disciplinary research in this field to fill the identified gaps and confirm an inclusive approach. These findings make an important contribution to the ongoing discussion on AI in OSH, as well as providing valuable insights for researchers, policymakers, and industry practitioners seeking to create a safer and more sustainable work environment.

Abstract

The rapid development of the digital printing industry requires companies to have a strong visual identity and communication strategy to improve competitiveness and brand image. PT Arsindo Mulya Tama needs an informative company profile media to support company branding. This research aims to produce a company profile video as a supporting media for branding. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interview, and literature study. The final result is an attractive and professional company profile video, expected to strengthen the company's image, expand the market, and become an effective communication tool in facing the digital era and global competition.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a three-dimensional (3D)-based learning media for the Computer System material for grade X DKV students at SMKN 2 Padang Panjang. The background of this research is the low interest and understanding of students in the subject, caused by the limited variety of teaching methods and the lack of interactive media use. In today’s digital era, integrating technology into learning is essential to improve the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The media was developed using Assemblr Edu and Canva applications, validated by two media experts and two subject matter experts, and tested for practicality by one teacher and 25 students. The validation results showed a validity score of 96.30% from media experts and 81.67% from material experts, both categorized as very valid. The practicality test obtained a score of 86.98% from the teacher and 85.63% from students, both classified as very practical. The developed media presents the learning content in a visual and interactive 3D format, enhancing student engagement and comprehension. In conclusion, the 3D learning media developed in this study is feasible and effective for use in classroom learning. It is expected to serve as an innovative solution in supporting technology-based learning, particularly in vocational education settings
