<![CDATA[In Indonesia, undergraduate thesis is still a pretty scary end task for most students. Many of them do procrastination, keep away from supervisors, do non-productive things as a form of anxiety diversion, and the most extreme is to commit suicide as a result of excessive academic anxiety on undergraduate thesis. The education counselor as one of the college internal agents is expected to solve the problems that often occur every year. Based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) counseling approach, the academic anxiety experienced by students is a cognitive distortion caused by maladaptive core beliefs. The process to change the student's core beliefs to be more adaptive can be done with a modern technique, that is through music. In its application, CBT counseling using integrative technique through music consists of two, passive and active music therapy. What we need to know more about how CBT views academic anxiety as a problem and how the way to use integrative technique through music, so that counselors in Indonesia can comprehend conceptually about CBT counseling intervention with music appropriately in the future, in order to help students free from academic anxiety towards undergraduate thesis.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the movement of parents teaching in schools in order to improve the motivation of learners by involving parents in school programs. This program is implemented one of the goals is to reduce the number of school dropouts that occur in coastal areas. This research uses qualitative naturalistic approach. Data collection is done through observation, interview, and documentation. The subjects of this study include principals, teachers, employees, parents of learners and learners. the validity of data is done by triangulation, prolongation of research and observation persistence. The results showed that the implementation of parental teaching movement that has been implemented in SD Negeri 10 Pangkalanbaru very effective implemented. The program that has been implemented is the carier day program. The program is implemented to foster the spirit and motivation and do not experience dropping out and have aspirations to continue their education to a higher level. The parents' tasks of the students in this parenting teaching program is that they are asked to describe and tell the profession all this time they do. The profession will also be associated with the subjects that are learned by the students in the school]]>

<![CDATA[The research aims to (1) the description of development needs of Guidance and Counseling Video Media to Reduce Bullying Behavior, (2) the prototype of Guidance and Counseling Video Media to Reduce Bullying Behavior which is valid and acceptable, (3) the acceptance of Guidance and Counseling Video Media to Reduce Bullying Behavior in SMAN 5 Makassar. The research was development research or research and development which was based on research stages by Borg and Gall. The research employed collecting data technique through interview and scale. The results of research revealed that (1) the description of needs level of Guidance and Counseling Video Media to Reduce Bullying Behavior showed that the video media very important and needed, (2) the prototype of Guidance and Counseling Video Media developed was already valid and acceptable to Reduce Bullying Behavior, (3) the acceptance of Guidance and Counseling Media Video which was given to 10 students in small group test showed that there was change of bullying behavior level before and after viewing Guidance and Counseling Video Media. This meant that guidance and counseling media video could reduce bullying behavior.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to produce a guide to improve teacher competency in guidance and counseling in developing social intelligence of seventh grade junior high school students, which consists of: (1) service syllabus and plan for implementing guidance and counseling services, (2) teacher guidance, (3) material services, and (4) evaluation guidelines. The procedure for developing a 5-step guide is: (1) analyzing the product to be developed, (2) developing the initial product, (3) expert validation and revision, (4) small-scale field testing and product revision, and (5) trial large scale field and final product. Based on the results of expert validation data analysis, small group test data and large group tests, as well as product revisions based on the results of data analysis that has been obtained, guidance and counseling service guides can be produced that have criteria for developing social intelligence of seventh grade junior high school students. This guide consists of (1) service syllabus and plan for implementing guidance and counseling services, (2) teacher guidance, (3) service material, and (4) evaluation guidelines. It is expected that the guidance and counseling teachers can use this guide in carrying out guidance and counseling services for the development of students' social intelligence, especially seventh grade junior high school students.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to develop a guide to psycho-religious counseling and examine whether psychiatric counseling guidelines can help overcome the effects of violent trauma on adolescents. The method used is the research and development (R & D) model. The procedure of development research includes: 1) the preparation stage, 2) the implementation stage, namely drafting the product, and 3) product testing or product validation and preparation of the final product. This product is tested by a team of experts consisting of a religious expert and a psychologist and validated by experts. In the implementation phase an assessment of the symptoms of post-traumatic stress experienced by teenage respondents who were victims of violence was conducted before counseling and after counseling. Research data were analyzed quantitatively descriptive and qualitative. The results show that counseling guidelines have been developed validally both in terms of usability, accuracy, suitability and ease of guidance in the implementation of counseling for adolescents who are victims of violence. The results of the qualitative analysis of three teenage respondents who were victims of violence at the time of implementation of the guidelines also showed a decrease in symptoms of post-traumatic stress and an increase in religious behavior after attending psycho-religious counseling.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to develop the employability skills instrumen that will be used to measure the employability skills on vocational high school students. The method was used is a model of research and development. The instrumen developing is based on the results of the synthesis construct of employability skills theories. The sample were selected are 34 students of SMKN 13 Bandung. Based on the result of the research, it showed that the employability skills instrumen that was arranged had a good validity, shown by content validity with expert judgment and empiric validity with pearson product moment correlation. The reliability of the employability skills instrumen included an enough category that was shown by the high alpha reliability coefficient score that was 0.994]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims at exploring the profile of school counsellor’s competency in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, and factors that affected it. The study used quantitative approach, involving four independent variables, age, work experience, educational background, and professional certification experience of the school counsellor, and one dependent variable, the score of the competency test. The population of the study was 1949 school counsellors who took competency test administered by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2015. There were 322 samples taken using proportional random sampling technique, representing school counsellors from SMP (junior high school), SMA (senior high school), and SMK (vocational schools). The result of the study showed that the average score of the competency test was still below the minimum standard set by the Government. The study also presented that there was a negative influence between age and the score, and positive influence between educational background and teacher certification program, and the results of competency test. Yet, it was found there was no significant influence between working experience and the results of competency test.]]>

<![CDATA[The goals of this research are to find the difference of mean the cognitive and psychomotor learning outcome Simulation and Communication Digital due to implementation of POE learning model compare to learning model PRP . This research is using quasi experimental design through the type of Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The hypothesist will be tested using Independent Sample of T-test. The result of this research showed that the mean difference test of students' learning outcomes in the cognitive obtained a significance of 0.006, while the psychomotor learning outcomes obtained a significance of 0.000. Based on the results of the average difference, the learning model that is superior to cognitive and psychomotor is the POE learning model. ]]>

<![CDATA[Adjustment to the new environment occurs both internally and externally, so students who can make adjustments gradually will be able to avoid the impact of psychological culture shock. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship of culture shock and adjustment to the first year student learning outcomes at Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research with correlational study to determine whether there is a relationship between culture shock and student learning outcomes. Instrument of research data used is questionnaire to test culture shock with four likert scale answer option. Statistical test data obtained r = -0,217 and probability value (Sig. 2-tailed) = 0,054. The conclusion, negative correlation with probability value >0,05 then there is no relation between culture shock with student learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to examine the direct effect of creativity on the meaning of life, and an indirect effect through performance. Subjects were 186 teachers (113 male and 73 female). The data were collected by the creativity scale, the job performance scale, and the meaning in life scale. The data were analyzed by moderated regression analysis. The results showed that performance play a role in strengthening the relationship between creativity and the search for a meaningful life (p <.01), but not in the relationship between creativity and the presence of meaning of life (p> .05).]]>
