Abstract

Based on the results of observations and monitoring carried out during the exercise of the physical condition of the rowing athletes, there are still many who do not properly follow the instructions and directions from the trainer how to do quality physical condition exercises in accordance with the components and principles of the exercise. This partnership program provides solutions on how to carry out good and correct tests and measurements of the main physical components in rowing, an explanation of how to implement a physical condition training program using weight training. Tests and measurements of the physical components carried out on rowing athletes in this partnership program are: (1) Arm muscle endurance using the push up method, abdominal muscle endurance using the sit up method and leg muscle endurance using the half squat jump method (2) Flexibility using the flexometer method (3) Eye and hand coordination by throwing the ball against the wall (4) Arm power using the medicine ball method and (5) General endurance using the bleep test method (multi stage fitness test). The results of the tests and measurements found that there were no athletes who entered the perfect category, only 1 person (6.25%) was in the Very Good category, as many as 9 people (56.25%) were in the Good category, 6 people (37.50%) were in the Enough category and none were into the Less category. The conclusion is that the physical components of the South Sulawesi rowing athletes who are prepared to take part in the XX National Sports Week in Papua are still in the Good category.

Abstract

The Dwitrap farmer group's sago processing industry in Tambat Village produces sago starch/sago flour products. Apart from producing its main product, the sago processing process also produces side products in the form of solid waste and liquid waste. Waste if not handled properly will have a negative impact on the environment. Solid waste from sago processing is in the form of sago dregs. Solid waste from the sago industry contains 56.86% cellulose and 37.70% lignin. Solid waste if disposed of and left unchecked will cause environmental problems such as odor and increased soil acidity (pH<4) which has an impact on inhibiting growth and even causing death in plants. Therefore, proper handling and management of sago industrial waste is needed to reduce the impact on the environment. The content in sago pulp waste is very useful for various purposes such as animal feed and raw material for making organic fertilizer both solid and liquid. Sago solid waste organic fertilizer can be used by the community as a safe fertilizer for plants in community gardens and also BSF larvae can be used as livestock and fish feed. In addition, the purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge to the community about the impact of waste generated and to provide skills in utilizing waste to make it more economical. The method used to achieve this target is socialization about the impact of sago waste and its potential utilization, training or hands-on practice in making liquid organic fertilizer using black soldier fly larvae bioreactor, activity evaluation, and community assistance. The results of the socialization show that there is a transfer of knowledge to the community. This is indicated by the number of questions asked by the participants to the presenters. After the presentation, the presenter gave feedback questions about the material and training that had just been carried out and the participants were able to answer them appropriately. This indicates an increase in public knowledge about the importance of processing sago waste into organic fertilizer, both solid and liquid. This understanding is important so that awareness arises about the importance of preserving the environment and the sustainability of agriculture in the future. In addition, the training also added new skills to the community, namely that the community could produce both solid and liquid organic fertilizer from kitchen waste and solid sago waste with a simple method.

Abstract

Technology is an inseparable part of society in the 4.0 era, the enthusiasm to create a technology literate generation is contained in various policies in the world of education. The Teaching Campus Program is one of the flagship programs of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) policy. The Teaching Campus Program is a program that provides opportunities for students to learn outside the classroom by becoming teacher partners in the learning process at the basic education level. By participating in Campus Teaching activities, students will have the opportunity to hone their soft skills and character, as well as gain teaching experience that can be recognized in the form of semester credit units (credits). The Teaching Campus Program is a collaboration whose beneficiaries are university students and students at the elementary and junior high school education levels. This program focuses on two outputs, namely competency development for program participant students through capacity building for leadership, creativity and innovation, problem solving, communication, team management, and improvement of analytical thinking, as well as increased literacy and numeracy for students in target schools. This context is getting stronger considering the condition of literacy and numeracy in Indonesia which is still low along with efforts to increase literacy and numeracy as one of the national priority agendas
