Abstract

This study aims (1) to develop and produce the physics multiple representation’s book using problem based approach as reference of learning physics of waves, and (2) to describe the advisability of the physics multiple representation’s book using problem based approach by means of validation test. This study has Research and Development’s (R & D) method with the modified Dick and Carey’s model. This model was modified by M. Atwi Suparman then become “Model Pengembangan Instruksional” which has the function to develop the modern instructional design. The average percentage of validation test by physics subject expert, media expert, learning expert, and limited test by teacher and student is 85%. As the result, the physics multiple representation’s book using problem based approach is good to be use as physics book. Keywords: Book, Waves, Multiple representations, Problem based approach

Abstract

Pembuatan media pembelajaran CD Interaktif merupakan langkah signifikan untuk dikembangkan menjadi alat bantu untuk mempelajari pengoperasian SPSS (alat bantu analisis data penelitian Pada Prodi Pendidikan Fisika UNIB). CD Interaktif merupakan salah satu produk berbasis TIK yang dimanfaatkan sebagai media pengenalan atau promosi yang banyak berkembang saat ini, dimana media interaktif ini memiliki kelebihan dalam visualisasi, animasi, content sertai interaksifitas sehingga orang yang melihat akan bisa merasakan dan berinteraksi langsung dengan informasi yang ingin disampaikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat media pembelajaran teknik operasional SPSS 22, yang dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan belajar bagi kalangan yang membutuhkan kemampuan untuk menggunakan dan menganalisis data penelitian menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau biasa disebut Research and Development (R&D). Subjek penelitian ini adalah paket pembelajaran teknik operasional SPSS yang dibuat dengan menggunakan aplikasi Macromedia Flash 8, dimana hasil akhir atau produk yang dibuat berupa Paket CD Pembelajaran Interaktif SPSS 22. Paket disusun dengan mengacu pada model penelitian pengembangan. Program di uji oleh ahli bidang studi statistik dan ahli media untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media (program) berdasarkan kriteria/indikator yang telah ditentukan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa program media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan menurut ahli materi sangat baik yaitu pada persentase 92,5% dan ahli media cukup baik yaitu pada persentase 75%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa program yang dikembangkan layak dijadikan alternatif sebagi media pembelajaran dan dapat dimanfaatkan mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika UNIB untuk alat bantu mempelajari aplikasi SPSS. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, SPSS, Multimedia Interaktif.

Abstract

This research entitled "Comparison Between Physics Learning Outcomes Learning Model Problem Based Learning by Inquiry Learning Model Class X SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau In Academic Year 2015/2016". The formulation of the problem is, What is the result of learning physics learning model Problem Based Learning is significantly higher than the class X Inquiry learning models in SMA 8 Lubuklinggau 2015/2016 Academic Year?. This study aims to determine whether the results of studying physics using Problem Based Learning teaching model is significantly higher than the results of studying physics using Inquiry learning model class X SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau Academic Year 2015/2016. The research method used was experimental method to the type of comparison. The population is all students of class X SMA 8 Lubuklinggau Academic Year 2015/2016 and as the sample is X.1 classes totaling 23 students and X.2 classes totaling 25 students and drawn at random. Data collected by the testing techniques. Data were analyzed using t-test at the significant level α = 0.05. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that "learning outcomes of students who take physics learning using learning model Problem Based Learning is significantly higher than the learning outcomes of students who take physics learning using learning model Inquiry class X SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau". The average value of the end of the first experimental group after treated with learning model Problem Based Learning at 73.30 and the experimental class II Inquiry learning model at 66.04. Abstract

Research has done experiment to know the influence of self efficacy of the results of the study physics material fluid static.This research used a quantitative approach with the experiment method, using pre experimental design kind of one group pretest-posttest design.The population of the research is all of students in senior high school 2 Indramayu.The sample done to technique nonprobability sampling by design purposive sampling.Data in this study obtained from the questionnaire and tests.Analysis techniques data using descriptive statistics, and statistika inferential.And testing hypotesis use the gains.From test it is known that the study results for the students with self efficacy low also low ( Ngain = 0,18 or 18 % ), the study results for the students with self efficacy being is low ( Ngain = 0,19 or 19 % ), and improving study results for the students with self efficacy high is being ( Ngain = 0,62 or 62 % ). Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning model is better between models Problem Posing and Problem Solving to improve science process skills in the subject matter of Fluid Physics High School Class XI. This study was conducted in February-April 2016 at SMAN 30 Jakarta. Sampling obtained by purposive random sampling technique which consists of two classes, namely class XI MIA 2 as an experimental class I and XI MIA 4 as an experimental class II where each class consists of 36 students. This research method is a quasi-experimental research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. To determine the class of experiments, test the homogeneity through the value of UAS class XI SMAN 30 Jakarta MIA first. Instruments used in the form of science process skills test multiple choice reasoned. The average value of science process skills pretest the experimental class I and class II experiment in a row, namely 52.50 and 55.75 while the average daily value of science process skills in the experimental class I and class II experiment in a row is 70.50 and 75.25. The result of the calculation of the value pretest normality in both experimental class using Chi-square test showed that the data were normally distributed. The results of calculations a second class homogeneity using F-test based on data pretest showed homogeneous data, but based on the daily value data indicates the data are not homogeneous. With so to test the hypothesis using T-test data is not homogeneous. Based on the results of the daily value of science process skills drawn the conclusion that the model of problem solving can improve students' science process skills is higher than the model of Problem Posing in high school. Problem Solving so that the model is a better model used to enhance students' science process skills in physics in the classroom than the model Problem Posing. Abstract

Problem solving ability should be owned by students in high school after studying the physics concept, because physics subject is important role in the development of science and technology. In other words, physics subject as one of the capital bases to create the human resources in order to face 21st century. Preliminary studies that conducted in one of the High School in Bandung, students face the difficulties to solve the problems. One of the students who didn’t know what they have to do. As concequency, required to involve metacognitive in physics learning. The purpose of the research is to find out the enhancement physics problem solving abilities after metacognitive approach learning had been conducting. This study was conducted for three times for 32 students at one class in one of the high school in Bandung with research method is quasi experimental design and Pre-test and Post-test Group research design. The instrument is used to measure problem-solving ability that consist of two essay with stages by Heller. The results show that metacognitive approach learning be able enhance every aspect of physics problem-solving ability with N-Gain increase by 0,45 in the medium category. The enhancement of focus the problem aspects’, plan a solution aspects’, and execute the plan aspects’ in the medium category. Whereas to describe the physics aspects’ and evaluating answers aspects’ in the low category. Thus, it can be concluded that the metacognitive approach to learning be able enhance highschools’ physics problem solving abilities. Keywords: Metacognitive Approach, Physics Problem Solving

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang dipengaruhi model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang disesuaikan dengan gaya belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif kuasi eksperimen desain the static-group pretest-posttes design yang melibatkan dua kelas (eksperimen dan kontrol) sebagai subyek penelitian. Kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek tanpa disesuaikan dengan gaya belajar sebagai perlakuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian pada siswa kelompok belajar visual menunjukkan bahwa: 1) model pembelajaran berbasis proyek memberikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai <g> siswa kelompok gaya belajar visual untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,43 kategori sedang dan kelas kontrol 0,22 kategori rendah, 2) Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek disesuaikan dengan gaya belajar siswa memberikan pengaruh yang sedang terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, hasil tersebut disimpulkan dari nilai effect size sebesar 0,55 (simpangan baku 0,38), 3) Respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yaitu senang pada proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan dan mendukung penerapannya pada pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Abstract

The research aimed to determine the improvement and description of students’ scientific consistency in a senior high school after learning using scientific approach based on multiple sepresentasi. The sampel of the research was 31 students with purposive sampling method. The research method used was quasi-experiment with one shot case study design experiment. To determine the studens’ scientific consistency, three-tier test with verbal question, image and mathematical question were applied. The result showed that there is an improvement of students’ scientific consistency in medium category, and for some particular subconcepts showed the improvement in low, medium and high categories. Abstract

This thesis entitled “The Effect of Learning ModelCooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) to the Physics Learning Outcomes Seventh Grade Students of SMA Negeri 2 Muara Beliti Academic Year 2015/2016”. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning model cooperatif tipe student teams achievement division (STAD) on learning outcomes physics class X student of SMA Negeri 2 Muara Beliti academic year 2015/2016. This research is a quantitative research method experiments carried out in the presence of a comparison group pretest posttest design group design. As the population is all students of class X SMA 2 Muara Beliti academic year 2015/2016 , consisting of 216 and a sample is first class and the experimental class X.3 graders X.8 as the control class. The samples in this study were randomized (random sampling) by means of the draw. The data collection was done by using the test . The collected data were analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of t-test analysis at significance level a = 0.05, obtained t (7,83) > t table (1.67). It can be concluded that there is significant influence learning model Cooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) on learning outcomes physics class X student of SMA Negeri 2 Muara Beliti academic year 2015/2016. Abstract

The title of this research is "Profile of Cognitive Abilities on students’ High School in Learning Physics with Take-Away Technique''. The purpose of the Take-Away Techniqueis to develop the students’ attitude and ability for taking the core of learning. The use of the Take-Away Technique expected to appear the sense of responsibility of students to conduct independent learning either before or after learned in school. The purpose of this study was to determine how the profile of cognitive abilities on students’ High School before and after using the Take-Away Technique. The research used Pre-Experimental methode and One-group pretest-posttest design. The Take-Away Technique applied in one of high school in Tasikmalaya city with 33 students. The research instrument is a test to measure students' cognitive abilities in the sphere of C2 (understand), C3 (apply) and C4 (analyze), essay test and assesment rubric. The results of this study indicate that students 'cognitive abilities before applying the Take-Away Technique are still low, only 9% of students who received grades above KKM (minimal completeness criteria), while after applying the Take-Away Technique student’s cognitive abilities increased by 63% of students who received grades above KKM (minimial completness criteria). Therefore, there are differences in the profile of students' cognitive abilities before and after applied the Take-Awat Technique.
