Abstract

Has been done a coating process of the thin composite Ni-TiAlN to review the effect of variations concentration Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (C12H25NaSO4) on the surface morphology of thin layer composite Ni-TiAlN. This coating process was using electrodeposition method with a current 0.45μA, voltage 45mV for 15 minutes. This composite was formed on a Tungsten Carbide substrate with solution composition of the electrolyte which consists of 2 gr/l AlN, 2 gr/l TiN, 0.49 Mol/l H3BO3, 0.17 M NiCl26H2O, 0.38 M NiSO46H2O and Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (C12H25NaSO4). The variation concentration of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (C12H25NaSO4) that used are 0,2 g/l, 0.4 g/l and 0.6 g/l. This research uses characterization of Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) which showed that the bigger of concentration variation of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (C12H25NaSO4) make the surface morphology of thin layers composite Ni-TiAlN formed smoother than lower concentration, the smaller of aggregate and the crack are seen more clearly.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena ditemukan kesulitan siswa ketika melakukan percobaan bandul sederhana untuk menentukan nilai percepatan gravitasi. Kesulitan – kesulitan tersebut diantaranya. Pertama, gerakan bandul yang terjadi tidak harmonis, ini bisa dikarekan ikatan bandul yang tidak baik, tali yang kurang panjang, pelepasan bandul yang tidak presisi. Kedua, hasil perhitungan nilai gravitasi jauh dari tetapan yang ada, ini dikarekan gerakan bandul yang tidak harmonis. Ketiga, Tidak tepatnya (tidak berbarengan) waktu hitung dengan waktu distop watch (selisih beberapa saat). Diduga kuat, lembar kerja yang ada kurang memfasilitasi siswa untuk melakukan percobaan dengan benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki lembar kerja percobaan dan meredesain alat percobaan, sehingga siswa akan lebih mudah memahami cara melakukan percobaan dengan benar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik. Kemampuan siswa bereksperimen diperoleh dengan cara membandingkan jawaban lembar kerja siswa sebelum direkonstruksi dan jawaban siswa setelah direkonstruksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembar kerja yang telah direkonstruksi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam bereksperimen Kata-kata kunci: Redesain Alat Peraga dan Lembar Kerja Percobaan, kemampuan bereksperimen Abstract This study was motivated because it found students' difficulties when performing a simple pendulum experiment to determine the gravity acceleration. The difficulties are. First, the pendulum motion is not harmonious, it’s because the bond of the pendulum is not good, the rope is less long, release of the pendulum that is not precision. Second, the result of calculating of gravity acceleration is far away from the existing constellation, it’s because the movement of the pendulum that is not harmonious. Third, Not exactly (not simultaneously) the time to count with the time on the stopwatch (the difference a few moments). Existing worksheets do not facilitate students to experiment properly. This study aims to improve the experimental worksheet and redesign the experimental tool, so students will more easily understand how to experiment properly. This research is an analytical descriptive research. Students' experimental abilities were obtained by comparing the answers of student worksheets before reconstruction and student answers after reconstruction. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the differences of result physic learning between who learned using cooperative learning model type of student team achievment division (STAD) and two stay two stray (TSTS). This research is done in SMPN 117 Jakarta. This research use experiment method with posttest only control groups design. Sample were taken using technique of purposive sampling. The amount of research sample is 35 students for the first experiment class and 33 students for the second experiment class. First experiment class using cooperative learning type of STAD and second experiment class using cooperatve learning type of TSTS. The result of normality test by chi square test showed is normally distribute. The result of homogenity test by F test showed data is homogenous The average score of posttest from STAD class is 64.29 and TSTS class is 53.48. The analysis used t-test, the result of calculate tscore is 3.1, while ttable at level of significances 5% with degree of freedom (dk) = 35 + 33 – 2 = 66, that is equal to 1.668. The result of research revealed that tscore > ttable or 3.1>1.668. It shows that result of physic learning cooperative type of STAD is higher than cooperative learning type of TSTS. Abstract

The purpose of this article was to: (1) describe the initial understanding of students to the concept of direct current electrical circuits (series and parallel) before learning activities; (2) describe the understanding of the concept of direct current electrical circuits (series and parallel) after implementing experimental activities. The study using pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design with a sample of this study was the first year Physical Education Program’ students of University of Palangka Raya for academic year 2015-2016, consisted 25 students. The concepts’ understanding of students before and after learning processes was analyzed by using the certainty of response index (CRI). Based on the result: (1) before the learning, the average percentage of students who misconceptions of 50.40%, 35.20 % did not understand the concept, and who understand the concept of only 14.40%; (2) After learning activities by applying the experiment, the average percentage of students who do not understand the concept of misconceptions and reduced respectively to 9.60% and 6.40%, while the students understand the concept of increasing to 84%. That is, learning activities by implementing this experiment can reduce misconceptions on Physical Education Program’ students of University of Palangka Raya, in particular on the concept of direct current electrical circuits (series and parallel) . Abstract

Model cooperative learning type Jigsaw is a learning model that divide students into expert and novice group. Expert’s students give an explanation of subtopics experts to novice student in the novice group, therefore with model cooperative learning type jigsaw students can be more interactive and get maximal value of academic performance. The purpose of this study was to describe about profile academic performance of expert and novice student in the cooperative learning type jigsaw. The samples of this study consisted of 34 students at a high school in Bandung. The one group pretest-posttest experiment design was chosen in conducting the research. The data was analysed using an anlaysis descriptive methode and retrieval of data was taken using multiple choice instrument test of 15 item at pre-test and post-test. The results showed that academic performance of expert student higher than novice student. Analysed from the gain of pre-test to post-test. Academic performance of expert student increase g = 0,42 at the medium category and academic performance of novice student increase g = 0,32 at the medium category. With the result that model cooperative learning type jigsaw can increase academic performance of expert as well as novice student. Abstract

Each student has different characteristics in processing the information (cognitive style), including how to respond, and execute information in learning process to become a useful skills for themselves. This study aims to analyze the differences in cognitive styles of students, namely field dependent and field independent cognitive style towards mastery of concepts. The study was conducted in one of the SMP Negeri Bandung with a sample of 74 students selected by nonrandom sampling method, consisting of 36 students with field dependent cognitive style, and 38 students with field independent cognitive style. All samples do the same learning process (discussions and experiments in groups). Mastery of the concepts of physics obtained by instrument test that has been validated and tested, while the students' cognitive style classification is determined using standard instruments Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT). The result showed that students with field dependent cognitive style increased mastery of concepts with n-gain of 0.27, while students with field independent cognitive style increased mastery of concepts with n-gain 0.23. Based on the research results, mastery concepts for field dependent students slightly larger than field independent students, it is predicted because of the learning process tend to be clustered so that more support dependent cognitive style. Abstract

This thesis entitled “The Effect of Learning ModelCooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) to the Physics Learning Outcomes Seventh Grade Students of SMA Negeri 2 Muara Beliti Academic Year 2015/2016”. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning model cooperatif tipe student teams achievement division (STAD) on learning outcomes physics class X student of SMA Negeri 2 Muara Beliti academic year 2015/2016. This research is a quantitative research method experiments carried out in the presence of a comparison group pretest posttest design group design. As the population is all students of class X SMA 2 Muara Beliti academic year 2015/2016 , consisting of 216 and a sample is first class and the experimental class X.3 graders X.8 as the control class. The samples in this study were randomized (random sampling) by means of the draw. The data collection was done by using the test . The collected data were analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of t-test analysis at significance level a = 0.05, obtained t (7,83) > t table (1.67). It can be concluded that there is significant influence learning model Cooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) on learning outcomes physics class X student of SMA Negeri 2 Muara Beliti academic year 2015/2016. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of elearning learning to critical thinking skills and independent learning on environmental physics. This research is descriptive research. Subjects in this study were students in environmental physics at IKIP PGRI Pontianak in 2015/2016. The techniques used in this study is documentation techniques, indirect communication, and measurement techniques. The result showed that the planning Elearning based APKG I is in excellent condition with a value of 3.25. Implementation of eLearning based APKG II is in excellent condition with a value of 3.40. Elearning evaluation based APKG II classified angat well with the value of 3.40. Critical thinking ability of students is low with an average value of 51.00. A total of 11 students have the ability to think critically low of 18 students. Student learning independence quite well with the percentage of positive answers and negative answers 72.78% 27.22%. Abstract

Program Final Task (PFT) is the subject which should be taken by undergraduate student of PGSD FKIP of Open University on the Last Semester if the student has taken 140 semester credit system (SCS), special for undergraduate student of regular PGSD should take the Program Final Task (PFT) on semester X and for undergraduate student of PGSD with science field should take Program Final Task (PFT) on semester two. Factor analysis students for final test on PFT with the other two groups. Result study showed that (1) there is significant differences of motivation score between undergraduate the other student groups, average of motivation score of undergraduate student group of PGSD with Science Field is higher that undergraduate student of regular PGSD; (2) Assumption with Glejser test were obtained that independent variable is insignificant effected for absolute residual, then the assumption no heteroscedasticity is fulfilled,; (3) Simultaneous test result showed that Ho for simultaneous test is rejected because F-count value to be greater that F-table and the significance is less that 0,05. (4) self-sufficient student gave positively effect for PFT value (Y). Higher self-sufficient student, higher PFT value. Keywords: PFT, self-sufficient, motivation, learning aid.

Abstract

The term “metacognition” is defined as the ability of individuals to reflect, understand, and control their own thinking, learning and acting. Metacognition clasified to metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive regulation. Metacognitive knowledge consist of declaration knowledge, procedural knowledge, and conditional knowledge that refers to acquire knowledge about cognitive processes, knowledge that can be used to control their cognitive processes. The purpose of this article is to identified the metacognition knowledge of Physics Pre-Service Teacher. Six student in Solid State Physics lecture fulfill questionnaire and followed by interview. The analysis of questionnaire and interview data showed that the metacognition knowledge is still low, they could not describe about their purpose, only few of them could describe how they think, confuse what they shoud do to do the task. They only think that strategy is needed when they find difficulty and not sure with their ability to do the task. Key words: metacognitive knowledge, declarative, procedural, conditional.
