Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk pengembangan berupa miniatur pembangkit listrik tenaga air yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemapuan berpikir ilmiah siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika pada materi perubahan energi kelas XI SMA. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2014 – Mei 2015 di SMAI Al- Azhar Kelapa Gading. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Penelitian dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu (1) mengkaji kompetensi dasar kurikulum 2013, inventarisasi permasalahan guru dalam menyampaikan konsep perubahan energi, dan menginventarisasi ketersediaan alat peraga di sekolah. (2) desain produk. (3) revisi desain. (4) pembuatan produk. (5) validasi produk oleh ahli (dosen), guru dan siswa. (6) revisi produk. (7) uji pemakaian (studi implementasi). Hasil uji coba miniatur pembangkit listrik tenaga air diharapkan dapat menunjukkan bahwa miniatur pembangkit listrik tenaga air merupakan media pembelajaran sebagai alat praktikum yang dapat membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi serta dapat mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains, hasil ini dapat diperoleh setelah dilakukan validasi dan uji implementasi. Abstract

Global warming is a complex problem. In the global warming material, students are expected to analyze the phenomenon of global warming, the greenhouse effect and climate change and their impact on life and the environment. In addition, students are also required to be able to bring up the idea of ​​solving the symptoms of global warming and its impact on life and the environment. To overcome the effects of global warming, the necessary critical thinking skills of students using the corresponding worksheets. The purpose of this study is to develop a global warming worksheets that can foster students' critical thinking skills. The method used by the R & D stage of development following the model of the 4-D by Thiagarajan and Sammel (1974). This model consists of four stages of development, ie define, design, develop, and disseminate. In this article, the study was limited to the design phase. Results of the study concluded LKS to foster critical thinking skills of students on global warming material has a systematic learning model 7E learning cycle with the stages Elicit (raises an initial understanding of students), Engagement (involved), Exploration (investigate), Explanation (explain), Elaboration ( outlines), Evaluation (judge), and Extend (expand). Abstract

This research aims to develop props resonance and Doppler effect soundcard based PC / Laptop to improve students’ motivation to learn physics. This study will be conducted at SMAN 3 Pamulang in June – August 2015. The method used is the Research and Development that development model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). Resonance props made of Pyrex glass and the sound source using the speakers while to display the waveform used software audacity or scope. Props Doppler effect by rail is designed in such a way to show the events of the Doppler effect. Data was collected by means of questionnaries to collect documents from research instruments that have been validated. The final results of this study are expected to props resonance and Doppler Effect-based soundcard pc / laptop can be used to increase the motivation of learners from high school in material sound waves. Abstract

Berawal dari ketidakpuasan guru terhadap alat praktikum di sekolah khususnya pada percobaan Faraday yang dinilai kurang evektif dan tidak praktis dikembangkan set praktikum Faraday sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan teoritis set praktikum, hasil belajar, dan respon siswa setelah menggunakan set praktikum Faraday untuk materi induksi elektromagnetik. Set praktikum Faraday adalah satu kesatuan alat praktikum yang digunakan untuk membuktikan hukum Faraday tentang induksi elektromagnetik. Pada set praktikum Faraday terdapat empat jenis percobaan yang keseluruhannya digunakan untuk membuktikan hukum Faraday tentang induksi elektromagnetik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada metode penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Brog dan Gall yang meliputi tiga prosedur pengembangan yaitu studi pendahuluan, pengembangan produk, dan uji lapangan sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket, dan test. Penelitian ini sampai pada tahap pengembangan produk. Hasil uji pengembangan produk awal menunjukkan bahwa Set praktikum Faraday dapat membuktikan fenomena ggl induksi dan dapat menujukkan hubungan antara jumlah lilitan dan kecepatan perubahan fluks magnetik terhadap ggl induksi. Abstract

physics learning in senior high school currently should be more emphasis not only on the aspect of knowledge; but also for the skill and creativity of students. The subject matter is one of the magnet material taught in senior high school students. Learning model that uses only teaching media magnet students tend to only recognize the concept of a magnet without knowing the application currently of magnets. If the magnetic poles juxtaposed same poles will repel each other. By utilizing the magnetic properties of this we can create an instructional media to drive a dynamo that can generate electricity. Magnetic electric power board is an instructional media that can be developed as a lesson in the magnet. By using this instructional media students will learn concepts of magnetic as well as learn about the magnet applications for rotating dynamo which could generate electricity source. Learning to use a magnetic board electric power is expected that students will be more clearly in studying the magnetic material and the creativity of students is expected to increase because students directly know the benefits of magnets that can be applied in everyday life as a currently alternative electrical energy source. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan set praktikum pemantulan cahaya sebagai media pembelajaran fisika SMP. Set praktikum yang dikembangkan membahas mengenai pemantulan cahaya, antara lain hukum pemantulan cahaya, sinar-sinar istimewa cermin lengkung, dan pembentukan bayangan pada cermin lengkung. Set praktikum ini akan dilengkapi dengan buku pedoman penggunaannya sehingga memudahkan siswa dan guru dalam menggunakannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Adapun langkah-langkah pengembangannya adalah : 1) analisis kebutuhan tentang produk yang akan dikembangkan (Analyse), 2) merancang desain set praktikum (Design), 3) mengembangan set praktikum (Development), 4) uji validasi ahli dan uji coba lapangan (Implementation), 5) revisi produk akhir (Evaluation). Penelitian dan pengujian set praktikum dilakukan di Laboratorium Fisika, FMIPA, Universitas Negeri Jakarta dan SMPN 216 Jakarta. Adapun responden penelitian ini adalah responden ahli (expert review) yang terdiri dari ahli materi dan ahli media juga responden uji lapangan (field test) yang terdiri dari guru IPA SMP dan siswa SMP. Instrumen uji coba berupa angket rating scale dengan teknik perhitungan skala Likert dengan kisaran skor 1-5. Abstract

The aim of this research was to developed direct current circuits practical set based on data logger on physics learning for 12st grade. The method used in this research was research and development, that is: (1) research and information gathering; (2) planning; (3) develop of the initial product; (4) field testing and product revision; (5) final product revision; and (6) dissemination and implementation. Data collection techniques used in this research was: questionnaires and observation. The respondents of this research were the respondents experts consist of physics experts, media experts, a high school physics teacher respondents and also field test was done by the students of SMA Negeri 2 Bekasi and SMA Kartini 1 Jakarta. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion concluded that development of practical set in general has been very good with the suitability of the results of expert judgment and field test. The result of practical set validation by media expert was 86,12%, physics expert was 88,75%, physics teacher was 92,37% which means the set was very great. The result of preliminary field testing to studensts of SMA Negeri 2 Bekasi was 82.80%, while the result of operasional field testing to students of SMA Kartini 1 Jakarta was 84.05% which means the set was very great. Both of field test showed that the product received a positive response from the students. Keywords: research and development, practical set, data logger, direct current circuits.

Abstract

This article is result from Research and Development (R&D) which has general objectives to produce learning tools such as physics LKPD for high school level based on scientific process. Tool development procedure follows 4-D development model up from Thiagrajan, etc. it includes with define, design, develop, and disseminate. Model/structure of LKPD produces title, question, observation, analysis, and conclusion. This model/structure is minimalizing the guide statement like on the experiment guide book (it’s like with “cake recipe”). Two professionals in validation and two apprentices (physics teacher) showed that tool has been fulfilled with valid criteria. Limited experiment tool for heat and temperature matter to SMAN 15 Makassar student show that tools has been fulfilled the criteria and effective. The smoothness of LKPD usage by the teacher in student’s science process skill in problem summarize, hypothesize, apparatus identification, writing the process plot, and find the physics concept with answering the question in LKPD can be determined. The experiment result shows that tools which have been made had fulfilled the valid criteria, practice and effective until we can implement the material in a learning process. Abstract

This research aims to develop a module with a step by step problem based learning, which measures the activity is designed primarily to help learners develop their thinking, problem solving, and intellectual skills, which with their experience through real or simulated situations and become students independent. This study research approach development (development research) with stage 1) assess the demands of curriculum standards and teacher inventory problems; 2) the design of the module, module manufacturing and test validation by experts; 3) the stage of implementation, the module tested against high school students of class XI to know the students' assessment module. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that the media were developed suitable to be used as learning materials physics. Keywords: development research, module, problem based learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa alat praktikum medan magnet yang dapat menjelaskan berbagai variabel yang mempengaruhi kuat medan magnet induksi oleh kawat melingkar berarus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang dicetuskan oleh Borg dan Gall. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan Februari-Juli 2015 di Laboratorium Fisika Universitas Negeri Jakarta dan di uji cobakan di SMA Al-Azhar Kelapa Gading. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar kuisioner validasi, dan tes tertulis yang terdiri dari pretes dan postes. Hasil validasi alat praktikum medan magnet oleh ahli materi fisika sebesar 88.89%, ahli media pembelajaran sebesar 98.11%, serta guru fisika SMA sebesar 92.03% yang diinterpretasikan sangat baik. Hasil uji coba lapangan skala kecil dengan subjek penelitian 5 orang siswa SMA serta skala lebih luas dengan subjek penelitian 18 orang siswa SMA Al-Azhar Kelapa Gading sebesar 77.47% yang diinterpretasikan sangat baik. Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa yang terlihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata pretes dan postes sebesar 55.56 untuk pretes dan 62.78 untuk postes yang berarti terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dengan interpretasi sedang. Kata kunci: Penelitian pengembangan, alat praktikum, media pembelajaran fisika, medan magnet induksi.
