Abstract

Lembar Kerjas Siswa (LKS) merupakan bahan ajar yang praktis dan ekonomis, merepresentasikan materi pelajaran yang singkat beserta evaluasinya, namun LKS yang ada secara umum kurang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran siswa dalam pembelajaran remedial, sedangkan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran remedial membutuhkan informasi yang lebih dalam segi konsep dan penerapannya serta penilaiannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) mengetahui kebutuhan guru akan LKS yang sesuai dan dapat membantu siswa dalam pembelajaran remedial; 2) mengetahui kebutuhan siswa akan LKS yang sesuai dan dapat membatu siswa dalam pembelajaran remedial; 3) mengenalisis kebutuhan LKS dalam pembelajaran remedial pada mata pelajaran fisika setingkat SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik purposif sampling. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa SMA/MA di Kec. Tanjung Raja. Pengumpulan data dengan angket dan dianalisis melalui 4 tahapan kualitatif yaitu : pengkodean hasil angket, pentabulasian data, penganalisisan data dan penginterpretasian data hasil analisis. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh : 1) guru fisika SMA/MA di Kec. Tanjung Raja membutuhkan LKS pembelajaran remedial, 2) siswa membutuhkan LKS pembelajaran remedial, 3) pelaksanaan pembelajaran remedial mata pelajaran fisika SMA/MA diperlukan LKS pembelajaran remedial yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar siswa sehingga dapat membatu siswa dalam memahami konsep fisika dengan lebih baik. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian pendahuluan ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pembelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri I Gisting. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik quota sampling, dimana peneliti mengambil sampel secara acak untuk memenuhi yang diharapkan dari sampel. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan angket. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif melalui langkah-langkah: tabulasi, coding dan deskripsi terkait dengan fokus penelitian sebelum penulis membuat kesimpulan. Temuan dalam penelitian pendahuluan ini adalah: (1) Guru-guru IPA di SMPN I Gisting sudah mengetahui bahwa pembelajaran IPA SMP sebaiknya dilaksanakan menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing berbasis pendekatan saintifik. (2) Sebagian guru sudah mengetahui bagaimana membelajarkan IPA menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing berbasis pendekatan saintifik dan menggunakan model tersebut dalam membelajarkan IPA. (3) Sebagian guru sudah mengetahui bagaimana membelajarkan IPA menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing berbasis pendekatan saintifik, tetapi dalam pelaksanaannya masih menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan penugasan. (4) Sebagian besar guru IPA di SMPN I Gisting tidak menggunakan bahan ajar berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Berdasarkan temuan dari penelitian pendahuluan ini guru-guru dan siswa SMPN I Gisting membutuhkan bahan ajar berupa LKS yang dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep, hukum-hukum dan prinsip-prinsip IPA. Kesimpulan dari penelitian pendahuluan ini adalah perlu dikembangkannya LKS model inkuiri terbimbing berbasis pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA. Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, pendekatan saintifik, lembar kerja siswa.

Abstract

Instructional materials should meet both criteria of grammar used and in terms of legibility, so the (Subject Matter Book) SMB easy to read and digest, using simple language, communicative and clear. This study aims to collect data and information that is specific and detailed than SMB Physics 1 to revise the SMB to fit the learning strategically applying the principles of independent learning. Model development of teaching materials used in this study is the Model Instructional Design for Distance Education by Michael Simonson, (2012) that adaption from The Systematic Design of Instruction by Dick, Carey and Carey (2009). The results showed that SMB Physics 1 should be revised because of the competence to be achieved are still lower student or high school level. Level of achievement and qualifications BMP Physics of the results of the Review are still low material experts are 1) the suitability of the material to be achieved student competencies; 2) breadth of materials for physics education courses; 3) The depth of the material for physical education courses; 4) clarity of illustration, examples and non-examples; and 5) the attractiveness of illustrations, examples and non-examples. Abstract

Creative problem solving skills are very important to well posted, either by scientists, employees, teachers, and other professions. A nation will be able to win the global competition if the nation has a creative problem solving skills. Therefore, creative problem solving skills need to be trained in schools. Observations results show that the creative problem solving skills still seems to be less attention so that profile less known. This research aim to determine profile of creative problem solving skills of students in particular the problem relatied to application concept of electric fields. The research method used is descriptive method. The subject of this research are 30 students at high school in Bandung regency. The research instrument is a test that device creative problem solving skills in essay form. Indicator mesured consist of four skill aspects are; fact finding, problems finding, idea finding, and solution finding. Data have analyzed by calculating the average score of all students have interpreted with the criteria that have been made by Brookhart. The results show that the creative problem solving skills of students is still relatively low, especially in problems finding, ideas finding, and solutions finding. Abstract

Misconceptions is the concept used is not right but accompanied with data or facts that occurred. Misconceptions experienced by students will hamper the process of receiving new knowledge in students, so that would hinder the success of the students in the learning process. Student misconceptions can lead to students' conceptions inconsistent. Hence, misconceptions need to be identified early so teachers can determine appropriate learning methods. Preliminary study results show that many students who have misconceptions. For example, when the researchers asked the difference between heat and temperature, the student replied that temperature is the value of the heat. In addition the students a lot of inconsistent conception to a concept. Based on these problems then conducted research on the development of an essay test as an initial step in the development of diagnostic tests and the results can be used in the didactic analysis. This type of research is descriptive survey method in class XI students who have studied the temperature and heat. Results of the study can provide information for further research studies in the development of the design of didactic hypothesized to reduce misconceptions and improve the consistency of students' conceptions. Abstract

Misconception students on geometric optic concept are still found. The aim of this study to find out the cause of misconception students in understanding the concept of geometric optic in the Physics Education Program IKIP PGRI Pontianak. This study used an experimental method with descriptive analysis. The whole second semester 2014/2015 years students are population in this study. The research sample is determined using purposive sampling. Data obtained using doagnostic test with Certainty of Response Index (CRI) which is to determine the misconceptions profile. Furthermore, depth interview is used to determine the factors that cause misconceptions. The results showed that the cause of misconception students on geometric optic concept is preconception, intuition, associative thinking and humanistic, incomplete reasoning and the abilty of the student. Abstract

The main aimed of this study is to review development of Astronomy Education in Senior High School. Prestigious event, such as the Nasional Science Olympiad (OSN) or Internasional Astronomy Olympiad, any high school students must have good Astronomy’s skill and knowledge to be eligible as the champion in the city/regency, province, national, or international level olympiad. Based on Bloom’s taxonomy, Basic Competence of Astronomy in the high school curiculum is at C5 level, but it is about matematical vector aplication for Newton’s law of gravity. It sugests a gap in the curiculum. So that, it becomes one of the causes of uneven education in Indonesia. Therefore, only apart of students, who have apropriate tools, a reliable teacher, and supported situation, who can compete well. This paper is expected to provide some solutions in equalization of astronomy means and knowledge for any high school’s students. Keywords:Astronomy Education, Curiculum, Astronomy Olympiad.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis instrumen pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan inkuiri untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik (KPMM) mahasiswa pada materi fisika matematik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui kualitas instrumen pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Instrumen pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi Rencana Kegiatan Pembelajaran Semester (RKPS), Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), angket kemandirian belajar dan soal tes KPMM berbentuk essay. Instrumen pembelajaran berupa RKPS dan RPP dianalisis secara kualitatif oleh tim pakar untuk mengetahui kualitas instrumen. Sedangkan instrumen berupa angket kemandirian belajar dan soal tes KPMM selain dianalisis secara kuantitatif melalui uji coba kepada 39 mahasiswa untuk menentukan kualitas soal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa instrumen berupa RKPS dan RPP telah dirancang dengan kategori yang baik. Hasil uji coba angket kemandirian belajar dan soal tes KPMM menunjukkan bahwa soal memiliki kategori yang valid dengan indek reliabilitas yang tinggi. Secara keseluruhan instrumen pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan inkuiri yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik dalam membelajarkan materi fisika matematika. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the junior high school students’ scientific literacy profile in integrated science learning on the environmental pollution theme. The subjects were the 7th grade of Junior High School in Bandung city. The method of this study was descriptive. Data was collected using a test of science literacy, attitude scales, performance assessment sheet, questionnaire sheet, and interview format. Integrated science learning using scientific approach. Average scientific literacy for all student was 69%, the attainment of student scientific competence in identifying scientific issues was 77%, in explaining phenomena scientifically was 72%, and in utilizing scientific evidence was 59%. The attainment of student scientific literacy in domain content science was 81% in air pollution and acid rain, 74% in soil pollution, 60% in global warming and 56% in water pollution. The attainment of student’s attitudes toward science in supporting scientific inquiry was very high category, responsibility toward resources and environment and interest in science was high category. The average of performance assessment when doing practicum was 80%, and on practicum report was 65%. Teacher and students responded positively to the integrated science learning and it’s assessment. Abstract

Quality of oyster mushrooms depends on quality of oyster mushrooms seeds. Synthesis of oyster mushrooms seeds in this research consist of manufacture of potato dextrose agar (PDA), manufacture of pure seeds (F0), manufacture of scatter seeds (F1), and manufacture of planting seeds (F2). Sterilization of PDA has three variations, they are first level, second level, and third level with temperature 102 oC. Analysis protein (C-N) of micelium oyster mushroom with FTIR. Analysis of FTIR shows spring constant of C-N for pure seeds is 671 Nm-1, scatter seeds is 587 Nm-1, and pelanting seeds is 671 Nm-1. The bigger spring constant the more strong molekuler bonding , means big energy required to sever ties that molecule. Keywords : FTIR, micelium, molecular bonding, protein, spring constant
