Abstract

Employees are an important resource in a company or agency, including the West Jakarta City Bawaslu, which routinely assesses the performance of its employees. This assessment is often time consuming and prone to human error, given that the process is still carried out manually. For this reason, this research aims to design a web-based Decision Support System (SPK) using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method that can assist Bawaslu in determining the best employees more efficiently and accurately. The AHP method is used because it is able to break down complex problems into simpler and more structured ones, and provides a measurement scale that can be used to determine priorities in selecting the best employees. Research data was collected through interviews with the leadership of the West Jakarta Bawaslu and literature studies related to the AHP method. The results of this study are expected to facilitate decision making in selecting the best employees and improve the efficiency of the performance appraisal process at the West Jakarta Bawaslu.

Abstract

The development of e-commerce drives the need to understand customer opinions through sentiment analysis to improveservice quality. Tokopedia and TikTok Shop as popular e-commerce platforms provide a review feature that can be asource of data to analyze consumer perceptions. This study aims to compare the performance of two text classificationalgorithms, namely Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM), in analyzing the sentiment of customer reviews takenfrom the TikTok Tokopedia Seller Center dataset. The research method used is a computational experiment with aquantitative approach. The dataset used is sourced from the Kaggle site and is available in clean and labeled conditions(positive and negative). Model evaluation is done by measuring accuracy, precision, recall and F1-score. The results showthat Naive Bayes is superior with 97.50% accuracy and 84.00% F1-score, compared to SVM which obtained 94.90%accuracy and 76.80% F1-score. Thus, Naive Bayes is considered more effective for sentiment analysis of e-commercecustomer reviews

Abstract

Pada industri alas kaki penggunaan shoelast merupakan aspek penting dalam proses manufaktur alas kaki. Dalam produksiMass, shoelast materials are generally made of wood, metal, or plastic which requires complex and high-costmanufacturing processes. For limited production needs, prototypes, or custom made materials require quite high costs andlong manufacturing process time. For limited production needs, alternative materials are needed that can be used asshoelast materials. This study aims to analyze the mechanical strength of the material produced by Fused DepositionModelling (FDM) technology as an alternative to shoelast making materials that are more flexible and efficient. The typesof materials used in this study are Polylactic Acid (PLA), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), and PolyethyleneTerephthalate Glycol (PETG). The three types of thermoplastic materials were printed with fill density variationparameters using a 3d printer and pressed testing was carried out. The data were analyzed by calculating the average valueand standard deviation of the compressive strength. The results showed that all materials have a compressive strengthhigher than 5 MPa, thus meeting the basic mechanical requirements as a shoelast material. Furthermore, PLA material hasthe characteristics that are suitable for making precise shoelast prototypes, but it is not suitable for repetitive lastingprocesses. While ABS material is more relevant for repetitive lasting processes and PETG material is relevant for limitedproduction but still requires durability

Abstract

Information and communication technology (ICT) asset management in various government agencies, including the Nias Regency Communication and Informatics Office, is still largely done manually using physical documents and spreadsheets. This manual process has the potential to cause various problems, such as data loss or damage, duplication of records, input errors, and delays in preparing inventory reports. This condition makes it difficult to track asset status accurately and quickly, resulting in decreased work efficiency. This study aims to design and implement a prototype of a web-based ICT Asset Control Card information system that can be a solution for digitizing the inventory process. This system is expected to facilitate the process of recording, tracking, and reporting assets more effectively, efficiently, and in real-time. The development method used is the Waterfall model consisting of the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance planning. The system was developed using the CodeIgniter 3 framework, Bootstrap 5, Controller-Model-View (CMV) architecture, and a MySQL database. The testing process was carried out using the black-box testing method to verify system functionality and user acceptance testing (UAT) involving staff from the Nias Regency Communication and Informatics Office as direct users. The research results showed that the system was capable of automating asset recording, tracking, and reporting in real time. The average asset recording time was reduced from 15 minutes to 5 minutes per entry, and 90% of respondents stated that the system was easy to use. This prototype has the potential to be developed into a more secure, flexible, and mobile-compatible integrated inventory system

Abstract

A web-based Make Up Artist (MUA) booking application prototype has been designed and developed for independent MUAs in West Semarang, utilizing the Agile Scrum method. This study stems from the difficulties prospective clients face in finding MUAs and the lack of service and domicile information, compounded by manual booking methods leading to scheduling irregularities. The objective is to provide an efficient and integrated online booking information system solution for MUA services. The methodology employed is Agile Scrum, with qualitative data collection through literature review and competitor analysis to identify necessary functional and non-functional requirements. A prioritized list of system features and functionalities has been compiled, serving as the basis for each Agile Scrum development sprint. The prototype successfully implemented core features such as registration, login, profile management, MUA and customer dashboards, MUA search, service booking, payment flow (COD/Transfer/QRIS), booking status notifications, MUA schedule management, admin dashboard, booking history, and MUA portfolio pages. While most core features function effectively, the booking cancellation feature still requires further improvement due to integration conflicts. This study concludes that the application successfully analyzed functional and non-functional requirements and implemented the aforementioned core features. The research contributes by providing an efficient and integrated online booking information system solution for MUA services, addressing information and digital booking management issues, particularly in the West Semarang area, and demonstrating the potential for dynamic adaptation through Agile Scrum.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the physical phenomenon that occurs when a sharp knife is inserted into rubber material under various strain conditions. The analysis is based on experimental data from "Nuttras," examining four distinct strain values: ε = 0.5, ε = 5.333, ε = -1 (compressive strain), and an extremely small tensile strain (ε = 1.67×10⁻⁹). The findings reveal a fundamental difference between the hyperelastic, non-linear behavior of rubber and the linear, brittle nature of metal. The force required for cutting ranged from 1.67 μN to 5333 N. The results demonstrate that the non-linear elasticity of rubber, which allows for significant energy absorption and chain realignment, prevents the knife from causing instant fracture. This highlights a key mechanical property distinction with significant implications for material design and application.

Abstract

The rapid and dynamic growth of information technology has compelled organizations to migrate toward online services to streamline operations, create agility, and support data‑driven decision making. Sport Center XYZ, a local facility‑rental provider, still relies on fully manual procedures for court reservations, employee scheduling, and financial documentation. These paper‑based workflows regularly generate data‑entry mistakes, misplaced receipts, and delayed reports, which collectively diminish service quality and operational efficiency. This research designs and develops an integrated web‑based information system that supports real‑time court booking, automated resource allocation, and instant transaction reporting. A qualitative methodology, comprising field observation, stakeholder interviews, and literature review, underpins the requirement elicitation phase. System construction follows the Waterfall model: requirements analysis, object‑oriented development based on UML‑driven design by using Code Igniter Framework, and black‑box testing to verify functional compliance. Deployment results indicate that reservation processing time is reduced dramatically, and comprehensive financial statements can be produced on demand. These accomplishments not only smooth daily operations but also provide management with accurate, timely information for strategic planning. The study concludes that adopting a web information system is an effective solution for modernizing manual sport‑facility operations and can be adopted by similar organizations which plan to elevate performance and customer satisfaction, potentially replicable in diverse contexts worldwide.

Abstract

Briquettes are an alternative biomass-based fuel with the potential to reduce fossil fuel consumption. This study aims to design and develop a hydraulic system-based briquette press prototype to improve production efficiency and briquette quality. The hydraulic system was chosen for its ability to provide uniform pressure, resulting in briquettes with consistent dimensions and density. The construction process utilized materials such as galvanized hollow steel, angle iron, and hydraulic jacks. The press design includes 35 cubic molds with dimensions of 3x3x3 cm. This study evaluated the performance of the device in producing briquettes from sawdust charcoal using varying adhesive ratios and drying times. The results showed that the average briquette density reached 0.8 g/cm³, meeting international standards (0.46–1.2 g/cm³). The optimal ratio of charcoal to adhesive was 1.5:1, with an optimal drying time of 4 hours, producing high-quality briquettes with moisture content, volatile matter, and ash content meeting SNI standards. Compression strength tests also demonstrated adequate values, conforming to BNJ 01-6235-2000 standards.This briquette press has proven effective in producing high-quality briquettes, making it a promising innovation to support the production of environmentally friendly alternative fuels.

Abstract

Air bersih merupakan air yang dapat digunakan untuk keperluan sehari-hari, mulai dari untuk mencuci, mandi, bahkan untuk minum yang kualitasnya dapat memenuhi kriteria kesehatan. Perusahaan daerah air minum (PDAM) adalah sebuah perusahaan yang menyediakan air bersih di suatu daerah. Kebocoran pipa air PDAM di dalam rumah pelanggan merupakan suatu permasalahan yang dapat merugikan para pelanggan jika lokasi kebocorannya tidak diketahui. Pelanggan akan sangat merasa keberatan pada saat mengetahui biaya pemakaian naik dengan sangat cepat akibat dari permasalahan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sistem pengendali debit air di rumah pelanggan. Alat ini akan mengubah sistem pemakaian air PDAM dari pascabayar menjadi prabayar, sehingga pelanggan tidak perlu takut dengan biaya pemakaian yang meningkat dengan cepat. Pelanggan juga tidak akan lagi dikenakan biaya tambahan/denda akibat terlambat membayar tagihan. Pelanggan bisa melihat dan mengontrol pemakaian air yang digunakan dengan sangat detail karena pada alat ini terdapat waterflow sensor yang bisa membaca debit aliran air dengan detail. Alat ini menggunakan sistem saldo yang dimana pengguna akan menggunakan kartu RFID khusus dalam proses transaksi pada alat ini. Alat ini diuji coba dengan mencari nilai titik poin kalibrasi (TPK) terlebih dahulu. Uji coba dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan dan diambil hasil rata – rata pada setiap tahap nya. Dari uji coba yang dilakukan terdapat perbedaan TPK antara pengkalibrasian berstandar meteran PDAM dengan berstandar gelas ukur (500ml). nilai TPK untuk meteran PDAM adalah 8,9 sedangkan nilai TPK gelas ukur adalah 9,5 dengan persentase selisih ± 2%. Dari hasil uji coba dapat diketahui bahwa alat sudah bekerja dengan baik karena memiliki presentase selisih yang kecil.

Abstract

AutoGATE is an immigration inspection automation system implemented at a number of international airports in Indonesia. This system was developed to improve service efficiency and supervision of residence permit holders and users of Visa on Arrival (VoA) facilities, not all VoA users can use AutoGATE, especially if they do not meet the requirements for electronic passports or do not have biometric records in the immigration system. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using AutoGATE in supporting mobility control of VoA users and residence permit holders. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study research type. The qualitative approach was chosen because it is suitable for describing and analyzing in depth the effectiveness of the AutoGATE system in controlling the mobility of residence permit holders and users of the Visa on Arrival (VoA) facility, using three main techniques, namely in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies, and to maintain data validity and validity, this research applies source triangulation and technique triangulation techniques. Data from various sources were compared and confirmed with each other, while data from interviews, observations, and documentation were analyzed simultaneously to obtain credible conclusions. The results show that AutoGATE contributes significantly to improving the speed of the immigration process as well as the accuracy of monitoring data. However, the system still faces challenges in cross-agency data integration and biometric validation. This study recommends strengthening the information technology infrastructure and training officers to sustainably improve AutoGATE's performance.
