Abstract

This paper aims to uncover a new educational environment. Using a phenomenological approach, this paper is expected to have a new perspective in the form of an introduction to the educational environment that arises as a result of pandemic conditions covid-19. The results were concluded that two new environments emerged, namely the personal environment and the virtual environment.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out the extent of the implementation of strategic management and competitiveness in an effort to improve the quality of education at SMK AL HASRA Bojong Sari Depok. From the data obtained, the research uses qualitative methods. Data collection by means of Observation, Interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in the research uses Miles and Hubermen's theory with a case study research model. The results showed that SMK AL HASRA Bojong Sari Depok had implemented strategic management focusing on work units in schools in the implementation of using 3 systems, namely planning, application, and evaluation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the reality of the conditions that exist in the RT.003/004 Pulo Gebang East Jakarta, where children aged 12-18 years are often seen playing without time limits and not far from Handphone. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence of use social media on children's development and to find out how big the influence of that. This research is a quantitative research using correlational analytic descriptive method. This research took place at Jalan Pulo Gebang RT.003/004 Pulo Gebang Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta. This research lasted for 3 months, starting from October – December 2021, in this study involving the Head of the Neighborhood Association (RT), dasawisma cadres, and young people around the area where the research was carried out. To obtain data, it is done by means of observation and questionnaires. The data analysis is descriptive analytic correlational, which describes systematically and accurately about the population or about a particular field, then analyzes and presents the data systematically. Based on the results of the study, obtained data on the Influence of using social media on child development in Pulo Gebang RT.003/004 East Jakarta, namely there is an influence of using social media on child development in Pulo Gebang RT.003/004 East Jakarta and based on the results of the analysis of the magnitude of the effect. the use of social media (Variable X) on children's development (Variable Y) is moderate/enough at 0.524 or 52%, meaning that there is a positive influence on the use of social media on child development in Pulo Gebang RT.003/004 East Jakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the motivation and managerial ability of the principal in improving the quality of graduates at SMK Muara Ilmu Bojongsari Depok. This research is a case study research model. Data collection is carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. In observation activities, the researcher in this case acts as a passive observer participant, interviews are conducted to dig up information from the principal, vice principal for curriculum, teachers, and students. The data obtained is then analyzed by means of data reduction, display data, and conclusion making. The results of this study are presented in the form of a descriptive narrative equipped with images and tables. From the results of the research obtained, the motivation and managerial ability of the principal play an important role in the success or failure of the quality of graduates produced by an educational institution. Handling school management that is not balanced by good motivation and managerial ability from the principal as the head of an educational institution will have an impact on the quality results of graduates that are not optimal.

Abstract

The Islamic concept of wasathiyah is taken from the meaning of the Quranic verse surah Al-Baqarah verse 143. Wasathiyah Islam is the idea of moderation in religion. Religious moderation is taken from the perspective of the Qur'an with several references to interpretation. It can be concluded that religious moderation in its implications is in accordance with the teachings of the Guidelines of Muslims, namely the Qur'an.

Abstract

Every child born into the world in a fitrah or holy state, it is the parents and the environment that shape his character, hence the need for education for each child. Early childhood education is regulated in National Law Number 20 of 2003 which states that early childhood education is a coaching effort aimed at children from birth to the age of six years which is carried out through educational stimulation to help children's physical and spiritual growth and development. Islam views education as an effort to form a complete human being, and childhood education is the most important part, because in this phase an educator can instill correct and well-oriented principles in the child's psyche and behavior. A child is entitled to receive the right to a good education from his parents, and a parent is obliged to provide that education to his child. In Islam and The Law of the Republic of Indonesia No.20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, the right to education for children is a responsibility that must be shouldered together with both parents who give birth or the community and the state that must facilitate the right to education for a child. Qualitative research with an inductively interpretive critical analysis approach, it can be found that the protection of the right to early childhood education has been sufficiently regulated by Islamic legislation and teachings.

Abstract

The purpose of this research produces the accuracy of potential intelligence possessed by students and implement it in the learning process. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques use observation and questionnaires. The object of this research is the students of Bunda Junior High School (SMP). The population in this research are students of SMP Bunda with a total population of 33 to be studied. Judging from the small amount population, the researcher uses Saturation Sampling. Based on Howard Gardner's concept of multiple intelligence, there are nine intelligences in humans, are Linguistic Intelligence, Logical-Mathematical Intelligence, Spatial Intelligence, Musical Intelligence, Naturalist Intelligence, Physical-Kinesthetic Intelligence, Intelligence Interpersonal, Intrapersonal Intelligence, and Existential Intelligence. Based on the results of the research, most students of SMP Bunda are dominated by intrapersonal intelligence as much as 36% and musical intelligence as much as 24%. The implementation in the learning process, are 1) the teacher must empower all types of intelligence in teaching learning process with the aim that all students can find their respective intelligence, 2) the teachers also must optimize the dominant intelligence of each student in the teaching learning process. So, teachers play an active role in developing the potential of students. Teachers must recognize the potential intelligence of their students in order to get success in the future.

Abstract

This paper discusses the solution to rebuild surau education in Minangkabau. The crediting of the surau function occurs from time to time. In the 17th to 18th centuries, surau became the center of gravity of the community so that the development of an area was determined by the existence of surau. In stark contrast to the time of the Dutch East Indies Government until now, surau is nothing more than a place of worship and a place of recitation that is held periodically, and its function as a machine of knowledgeable people has been replaced by modern schools. At least, this old-style surau education is maintained because there a person's character, independence, and personality are formed. This special value is the reason for restoring surau as an educational institution for the development of quality human beings. Because the times have changed, the surau must be able to adjust to the situation to be able to survive. To find a way out in rebuilding surau, historical science is used that photographs the state of surau over time and its causality with the changing times. This science will show the factor of weakening and strengthening surau so that this will give rise to alternative and solutive ideas to form adaptive surau education.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the influence of the principal's leadership and compensation on work motivation. This research uses competency test methods and path analysis data. The sample selection was taken from a population of 144 private vocational school teachers in South Tangerang City. The data can be obtained from the results of the distribution of questionnaires to 106 respondents by giving a score on each answer according to the Likert Scale. Research results: Principal leadership (X) affects work motivation (Y1) with a path coefficient of 0.411; Compensation (X2) affects work motivation (Y1) with a path coefficient of 0.449.

Abstract

The application of learning to memorize Al-Qur`ān Juz 30 at TPQ At-Thohiriyyah uses jama' method and talaqqi method, is students read the Qur`ān simultaneously and are guided by the teacher, then students go forward in turn reading their memorization and the teacher corrects it directly . The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of the jama' and talaqqi methods in learning taḥfiẓ Al-Qur`ān juz 30 at TPQ At-Thohiriyyah Songgom Brebes. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The main data sources are the Head of Madrasah, Teacher Taḥfiẓ, and third grade students at TPQ At-Thohiriyyah Songgom Brebes. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The findings in this study indicate that in the implementation of learning taḥfiẓ Al-Qur`ān juz 30 at TPQ At-Thohiriyyah using the jama' method and the talaqqi method in its implementation is less successful. The number of student achievements is still small in memorizing chapter 30 within 3 years, so that students have low reading and memorization skills and the majority of students' ages are relatively early.
