Abstract

A broiler chicken meat producer that has some advantages including, rapid capital turnover rate and a short maintenance period ie within five weeks of broiler already be harvested and weighs 1.9 kg / head. This has encouraged many farmers who seek broiler farms. PT. Genesis is one of the broiler farms, which work closely with the farmers in the district through a partnership Grabag core-plasama. The partnership goal is to increase revenue, and increase both the scale of the company's businesses and farmers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the mechanism of partnerships undertaken in partnership plasma core, know the maintenance management (cultivation) of cattle in partnership nucleus-plasma, and calculates the income and value of the R / C ratio obtained in the plasma farmer-core partnership plasma. The research was conducted in partnership with farmers who farm company PT. Genesis. Nucleus location is in Taman Anggrek Unggaran Housing. Plasma breeders located in District Grabag, Magelang regency. The research was carried out for 1 month, ie in February and March 2013 which was designed as a case study, a total of 11 respondents breeders who partnered with PT. Genesis is currently in production. Data were collected by census method. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Maintenance of production data using the data on the plasma farmers February to March 2013 period (1 period). Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis, revenue analysis, and analysis of R / C ratio. Results of the analysis showed that the income on the income earned period February to March 2013 were farmers Rp 3,332,844.97 per period. Abstract

Report compiled to executed Field  in  Popular Farm Country Kuncen District  Mijen Town Semarang to obtain;get knowledge, ability and skilled about management conservancy of petelur race chicken specially layer period. Used items Farm owning layer chicken  counted 47.630 tail, what consist of two strain that is New Lohman Platinum and Isa Brown. Used by Method is to 1) conducting all routine activity 2) doing record-keeping of done data with interview, direct perception, activity note and also recording company of ranch. Data in field indicate that cage building in Popular Farm most of all using W type, what aim to be can load more population. passed to feed chicken represent result from mixing alone which is based to the protein content with rate 18% per ton  for the period of Grower and 19% per ton for the period of Layer. Giving of Feed, twice one day that is morning at 08.00 WIB counted 50% and daytime at 13.00 WIB counted 50%. Drinking water given ad libitum. Place feed form is " through feeder" long type  and place drink is " through drinker" made long type from PVC paralon pipe. Consume ransum at layer period between 115  -120 head/gr/day and its  mean 116 head/gr/day. Egg productivity in  Popular Farm have fulfilled standart that was about 93% ( Isa Brown pullet standart) in B1 cage, B2, H, I, J, K And L, because of given feed is goodness and have as according to requirement chicken nutrition. Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the milk hygiene in milk distribution chain in Boyolali Regency, Central Java Province. Parameters determined were bacterial counts, reductase time and acidity. Milk samples were taken from smallholders dairy farmers, milk collecting center (MCC), dairy cooperative (KUD). The data were analyzed by paired T-Test. The result showed the bacterial counts in milk collected from farmers 6,588,625 CFU/ml, MCC 9,230,625 CFU/ml, and KUD 13,209,375 CFU/ml were all above the SNI (max 1,000,000 CFU/ml). The reductase time of milk collected from farmers, MCC and KUD were 5,9 ; 5,8 ; 5,7 hour respectively. Moreover this research found positive result in alcohol test with some milk samples collected from farmers 2 samples (12,5%) and MCC 1 sample (6,25%). In conclusion, the result indicated that the milk hygiene in Boyolali regency still need to be improve to ensure the milk safety. Keywords: milk, bacterial contamination, distribution chain.

Abstract

Pembangunan pertanian dapat diartikan sebagai suatu proses yang ditujukan untuk selalu menambah produksi per kapita, yang sekaligus dapat mempertinggi pendapatan dan produktivitas usaha tiap-tiap petani dengan jalan menambah modal dan ketrampilan untuk memperbesar turut campur tangannya manusia di dalam perkembangan tumbuh-tumbuhan dan hewan. Dalam pembangunan pertanian, diversifikasi pada umumnya dihubungkan dengan suatu peralihan atau perpindahan dari komoditas ekspor untuk ke arah pengusahaan komoditas baru yang dipandang sebagai jalan keluar dalam menghadapi permintaan pasar. Diversifikasi pertanian adalah suatu pemilihan dan adopsi dari beberapa tambahan tipe komoditas yang berorientasi pasar, untuk dihasilkan melalui budidaya pertanian secara modern, baik pada tingkat nasional maupun regional. Perumusan masalah yang diajukan dalam penulisan makalah ini adalah:1. bagaimanakah karakteristik pelaku sistem agribisnis untuk mencapai pertanian yang tangguh?2. Upaya apa yang harus dilakukan agar pengembangan diversifikasi pertanian berhasil? Lembaga ekonomi yang tangguh harus memiliki ketrampilan dalam menerapkan inovasi untuk terus meningkatkan produktivitas efisiensi usaha. Mengusahakan untuk memperoleh keuntungan yang layak diukur dengan tingkat kewajaran yang berkembang terus. Lembaga ekonomi harus mampu menghadapi risiko usaha dari perubahan situasi ekonomi di dalam maupun di luar negeri, juga dapat memanfaatkan skala usaha untuk mencapai efisinsi yang tinggi. Ciri ketagguhan lainnya dari lembaga ekonomi adalah memiliki kemampuan mandiri menghadapi pihak-pihak lain dalam dunia usaha.  Lembaga sosial pedesaan haruslah mampu menciptakan iklim yang sehat sehingga para petani produsen dapat mengembangkan usahanya, menciptakan iklim usaha bersaing secara kreatif. Ciri ketagguhan yang lainnya, lembaga sosial dituntut untuk menciptakan iklim yang mendorong anggota masyarakat bekerja keras, ulet dan jujur untuk  mencapai tujuan.  Untuk menjamin keberhasilan pengembangan diversifikasi pertanian, senantiasa diperlukan adanya pengembangan teknologi pertanian sesuai dengan kebutuhan petani, pengembangan kelembagaan, peningkatan kualitas sumberdaya pertanian, perbaikan gizi masyarakat, perbaikan sistem pemasaran dan perlu adanya campur tangan pemerintah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi (meliputi jumlah DOC, pakan ternak, tenaga kerja, listrik dan vaksin) menghitung biaya, penerimaan, dan pendapatan serta, menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor produksi terhadap pendapatan usaha ternak ayam broiler pola kemitraan di Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey. Survey yaitu penelitian yang mengambil sampel dari populasi dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Random Sampling dan pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan wawancara dengan bantuan kuisioner. Analisis pengujian ini dilakukan dengan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan biaya produksi paling tinggi diperoleh peternak dari PT Mustika yaitu sebesar Rp.1.603.339.108,- per seribu ekor, PT Malindo Rp. 148.813.906,- per seribu ekor, PT Umi Perkasa Rp. 170.429.177,- per seribu ekor, PT HBS Rp. 67.759.535,- per seribu ekor. Sedangkan jumlah pendapatan tertinggi di peroleh peternak PT Mustika sebesar Rp. 275.497.310,- sedangkan pendapatan terendah diperoleh peternak PT Malindo sebesar Rp. 242.293.518,-. Secara keseluruhan rerata pendapatan per tahun peternak di Kecamatan Gunungpati mencapai Rp 266.876.566,-. Secara serempak variabel-variabel jumlah DOC, tenaga kerja, pakan, listrik dan vaksin berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel dependen pendapatan. Secara parsial hanya variabel jumlah DOC yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel pendapatan. Sedangkan variabel tenaga kerja, pakan, listrik dan vaksin berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap variabel pendapatan. Kata kunci : Ayam broiler, Biaya Produksi, Pendapatan.

Abstract

Yard can provide great benefits to society, because it can planted  vegetables, fruit and herbs such as turmeric, lemongrass etc. Yard can also be used as a source of animal protein and an additional source of family income. The advantages of cultivate quail is it has small body size and weighs around 130 grams, short life cycle, high egg productivity ( in the period peak daily egg production can produce about 90 % of the total population in the cage ), feed intake slightly ( about 20 grams / head / day ), easily cultivated and does not require high investment. Quail can deliver results in the form of daily egg production, meat from culled quail ( quail that had stopped laying eggs or egg productivity plummeted start that after about 8 months old ), as well as produce manure that can be processed into organic fertilizer. Yard with an area of approximately 2 m2 can be used to maintain approximately 250 quail at a cost of approximately Rp.3,887,000. With the average cost of feed per month Rp.375,000, of the quail maintenance can provide net income from egg production per day on average Rp.11,500 and income from the sale of quail has not productived Rp.787,500. Based on the advantages of the quail and the results of the economic analysis showed that the cultivation from quail in the yard can provide family income and improve nutrition.   Key words : quail, yard, animal protein sources, income

Abstract

Cabai merupakan komoditas hortikultura penting di Indonesia. Cabai banyak dibudidayakan karena memiliki harga jual dan permintaan pasar yang tinggi. Perlu adanya stabilisasi untuk meningkatkan produksi cabai sehingga kebutuhan cabai dapat terpenuhi. Beberapa usaha untuk meningkatkan produksi cabai yaitu pemenuhan unsur hara berdasarkan kebutuhan tanaman cabai. Pemberian pupuk kandang mampu membantu menyediakan hara yang dibutuhkan tanaman cabai tanpa merusak tanah jika digunakan dalam waktu panjang. Peningkatan efektifitas pupuk kandang dapat dilakukan dengan penambahan biofertilizer seperti PGPR. Kombinasi pupuk kandang dan PGPR dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk meningkatkan kesuburan tanah, pertumbuhan, produksi tanaman cabai tanpa menyebabkan kerusakan lahan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai dengan Juli 2020 di Green House dan Laboratorium Ekologi dan Produksi Tanaman, Fakultas Peternakan dan Pertanian, Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan pola faktorial 3x5 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama (P) yaitu pupuk kandang ayam (P1), pupuk kandang sapi (P2), pupuk kandang kambing (P3). Faktor kedua (B) terdiri dari kontrol/0 ml/liter (B0), PGPR komersial 5 ml/liter (B1), PGPR 5 ml/liter (B2), PGPR 12,5 ml/liter (B3) dan PGPR 20 ml/liter (B4). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA). Uji lanjut yang digunakan yaitu uji jarak berganda duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian pupuk kandang ayam memberikan pertumbuhan dan produksi terbaik pada variabel tinggi tanaman tetapi pupuk kandang ayam tidak berbeda nyata dengan pupuk kandang sapi pada bobot buah per tanaman, jumlah buah per tanaman, dan berat segar tanaman. Perlakuan konsentrasi PGPR serta interaksi antara jenis pupuk kandang dan konsentrasi tidak berpengaruh pada semua variabel pengamatan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the activities of Clarias gariephinus fish farming, profitability and feasibility of Dumbo catfish aquaculture activities, and opportunities for the development of fish farming in the Wonosari Village Bonang District Demak Regency. The method used is a case study, the sampling method of purposive sampling as many as 20 people. Data analysis using financial analysis includes analysis of BEP and the RC ratio. The results of this study are the activities of Clarias gariephinus fish farming is done individually by technical enlargement Clarias gariephinus per 10,000 individuals per 100 m2 of required capital = Rp. 7,875,000.- harvest per cycle,the rate of profit and feasibility of aquaculture fish Clarias gariephinus per 10,000 individuals per 100 m2, with the total cost (TC) of Rp. 7,875,000.-. total receipts  (TR) of the amount of the production 750 kg per cycle of harvest by = Rp. 13,000.- per kg. The selling price is Rp. 9,750,000.-, The average income of Rp. 1,875,000.-, RC ratio Value of 1.23, and BEP(Q) of 605.76 kg, BEP (IDR) of Rp. 10,500.- per harvest cycle per 100m2 per10,000 head, the chances of developing Clarias gariephinus fish farming in the Wonosari Village Bonang District Demak Regency, can be done with the intensification and extension and developments nature by cooperating with kooparatif invenstor/banking as well as the development of managerial by establishing cooperative. The conclusion of hypothesis in accepted in view of the value RC ratio of 1.23, and BEP(Q) of 605.76 kg, BEP (IDR) of Rp. 10,500.- per harvest cycle per 100 m2 per 10,000 head, so that the cultivation of Clarias gariephinus fish deserves to be cultivated.   Keywords: Benefits, costs, Catfish farming, feasibility, income.

Abstract

The high temperature exposure on the food containing synthetic sodium nitrite (NaNO2) can cause the formation of harmful compounds of N-nitrosamine carcinogen. Nitrite (NO2-) have also been reported to react with amine in gastric acid to form N-nitrosamine. N-nitrosamine carcinogen can induce tumor in many organs of the human body. The objectives of this study were to investigate the capacity of activity of nitrate reductase (ANR) and determine the formulation of various fresh vegetables that are naturally rich in nitrate (NO3-) as a natural curing agent substitute for synthetic sodium nitrite in beef curing. Natural sources of nitrate of fresh vegetables is expected to be safer and healthier for consumption. The leaf and leaf stalks of fresh celery, fresh red spinach and fresh marigolds were separated and evaluated ANR respectively in their ability to  produce nitrite during a certain incubation time. Nitrite in fresh vegetables is utilized to react to pigment beef in complex reactions series of curing. In general, the evaluation of leaf ANR showed higher than leaf stalk ANR of fresh celery and fresh red spinach. Natural nitrite that is generated by leaf of fresh celery, fresh red spinach and fresh marigolds was 0.69; 0.73 and 0.63 mg NO2-/g/h respectively. Natural curing process of beef requires incubation time which allows the conversion of nitrate to nitrite which is sufficient to produce the characteristics of naturally cured beef products similar to the conventional curing using synthetic sodium nitrite. Fresh celery leaf is recommended as a natural curing gent of beef curing because it has long been recognized by consumers more suited to a wide range of processed beef products. Natural curing of beef using fresh celery leaf is recommended as much as 22 g and incubate at room temperature for 2 hours to produce the NO2- equivalent of 30 ppm NaNO2. Abstract

Kalanchoe pinnata Pers. is one of the famous herbal in Indonesiathat has been used traditionally to treat diarrhea and dysentery. Akinsulire etal., (2007) proved the antibacterial effects of metanolic extract fromKalanchoe pinnata Pers. leaves, and its sensitive to Gram positive andnegative bacteria. Aims of this research are to find out antibacterialactivities of ethyl acetate fraction of methanolic extract from Kalanchoepinnata Pers. leaves to Gram positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus,Bacillus subtilis) and Gram negative bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi), to determine Minimum InhibitoryConcentration (MIC) of the fraction, and to find out the active chemicalsubstance of the fraction.Methanolic extract of Kalanchoe pinnata Pers. leaves was made byusing maceration method, then the extract was partitioned gradually byusing hexane, chloroform, diethyl ether and ethyl acetate. Ethyl acetatefraction was examinated in vitro according to turbidimetry methods.Concentrations of the fraction were 256, 192, 160, 128, 96, 64, 32 and 16mg/ml. The active chemical substance of the fraction was identified by ThinLayer Chromatography (TLC) method.The result of this research shows the antibacterial activities of ethylacetate fraction of methanolic extract from Kalanchoe pinnata Pers. leavesboth to Gram positive bacteria and Gram negative bacteria. MIC value ofthe fraction to Gram positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillussubtilis) is 192 mg/ml, and Gram negative bacteria which are Escherichiacoli ATCC 25922 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa is 192 mg/ml, but the MICvalue to Salmonella typhi is 128 mg/ml.
