The network at SMK Negeri 5 Bengkulu City at this time often has complaints such as a decrease in internet network performance which in turn affects all computers connected to the network. Intrusion Detection System (IDS) whose job is to monitor networks and suspicious activities in a network system. The research method that the authors use is a linear sequential process model. The life cycle of implementing a network system is defined in a number of phases, namely: Problem Identification and Formulation, Literature Study, Testing, Implementation, System Design, System Requirements Analysis. The author uses Snort, Telegram Bot on Ubuntu based IDS sensor engine. The results of this thesis research conclude that the applied IDS system can function to detect intruders or intruders on the IDS sensor machine, which is displayed in the form of notifications to telegrams.

The Department of Agriculture and Food Security of Bengkulu Province is one of the government agencies that annually conducts outreach to farmer cultivators to increase crop yields. Therefore, in this study an expert system application was developed that can be used by cultivators to find out pests and diseases that attack plants based on the symptoms they experience. The expert system for diagnosing oyster mushroom pests and diseases at the Agriculture and Food Security Service of Bengkulu Province can be used as a tool to help diagnose oyster mushroom pests and diseases by entering the symptoms experienced by the oyster mushroom. This expert system for diagnosing pests and diseases of oyster mushrooms was created using the Visual Basic .Net programming language (IDE Visual Studio 2010). The expert system for diagnosing pests and diseases of oyster mushrooms has been applied to the Certainty Factor Method which is used to obtain a percentage level of certainty for pests and diseases of oyster mushrooms based on the symptoms experienced by oyster mushrooms. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the functional application of the expert system for diagnosing oyster mushroom pests and diseases is running as expected and can provide information on the results of consultations in the form of a diagnosis of oyster mushroom pests and diseases

This research is entitled Design and Implementation of Network Security System Using Network Management System (NMS) and Firewall at SMA N 1 Bengkulu City. Aims to build a computer network system using linux ubuntu server by setting squid and webmin as a graphical user interface (GUI). Where in doing network management Squid works well including being able to limit accessible website addresses, IP Address management of network users and ports that can or cannot be accessed. The GUI is being used by webmin, because the webmin interface is easy to use. In limiting website addresses, network users' IP addresses and ports that cannot be accessed are done manually via Squid. Linux operating system ubuntu server 20.04 is very good in running Network Management System (NMS) and Firewall because it can be installed or added other tools such as squid and webmin, linux ubuntu server 20.04 in running Network Management System (NMS) and Firewall does not require resources great hardware.

Cataracts are a disease when the lens of the eye becomes cloudy and cloudy. In general, cataracts develop slowly and are not bothersome at first. However, over time, cataracts will interfere with vision and make the sufferer feel like seeing a foggy window, making it difficult to drive, read, and carry out daily activities. The expert system for diagnosing cataracts at Rafflesia Hospital Bengkulu was created to assist in diagnosing cataract patients by entering the symptoms experienced by the patient. In the process of diagnosing the expert system, a method has been applied as an inference engine that makes it easier to find out the results of the diagnosis, this method is Forward Chaining. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the functionality of the expert system for diagnosing cataracts at Rafflesia Bengkulu Hospital has been running well as expected and can provide information on the results of consultations to determine cataracts.

The Kelindang Bengkulu Tengah Village Office is one of the villages located in Merigi Kelindang District, Central Bengkulu Regency. So far, the data management process for Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) has used office application packages, namely Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. However, not all administrative data processing processes use office application packages, one of which is the 3kg LPG base distribution administration. The Bumdes administration data application at the Kelindang Bengkulu Tengah Village Office is used to make it easier for the village office to process BUMDES administration data, especially regarding the supply and distribution of 3kg LPG Gas to residents within the scope of the Village of Kelindang Bengkulu Tengah. In the data processing process, a network-based two-tier architecture with a WLAN connection has been implemented, to simplify and speed up data input, because many laptops connected to the WLAN can access it. The devices used are 3 units of laptops, namely 1 laptop for the server and 2 laptops for the client. SMA Negeri 6 Seluma is one of the state senior high schools in Seluma Regency. At the school, students are assessed every academic year through several criteria to select outstanding students who have the ability to master subjects and have good personal ethics. So far, the process of selecting outstanding students is only seen from the results of the report cards obtained by students, then ranking is carried out. This is of course less effective in determining outstanding students, because it must be supported by other aspects such as student ethics during the teaching and learning process. The recommendation application for selecting outstanding students at SMA Negeri 06 Seluma was made using the Visual Basic .Net programming language and SQL Server 2008r2 Database. This application has implemented one of the fuzzy logic methods, namely Fuzzy Tsukamoto which is used to help provide recommendations for selecting outstanding students at SMA Negeri 06 Seluma. The process of selecting outstanding students is carried out every academic year based on aspects based on aspects of average knowledge value, average skills score, absenteeism score, academic achievement, non-academic achievement, and guidance and counseling records. Based on the blackbox testing that has been done, the results show that the functionality of the recommendation application for selecting outstanding students at SMA Negeri 06 Seluma runs well as expected and is able to analyze student assessment data through the Fuzzy Tsukamoto Method to get recommendations for outstanding students

This study aims to create an expert system at Rafflesia Hospital of Bengkulu City, based on a website and using the PHP programming language, in diagnosing bronchitis using the certainty factor method, therefore the results of the diagnosis can be first aid when a user or patient suffers from bronchitis. The research method used is the certainty factor method, namely the certainty factor, thus the user or patient can choose. conditions according to the symptoms experienced from bronchitis. The program created is an expert system for diagnosing bronchitis using a website-based certainty factor method so that it can be accessed on laptops, computers, or mobile phones with the condition that it must be connected to the internet. This program can generate a percentage level of the possibility of how many percent of patients suffer from bronchitis, and this program also produces solutions to bronchitis therefore, it can be first aid when the user or patient suffers from bronchitis. Suggestions from the author are for agencies to be able to maintain and always update this expert system program, so then this system can run and be maintained properly.

At school, especially in Automotive Vocational High Schools, a learning process is carried out by helping students to recognize and overcome problems that occur in motorbike/car damage. One of the SMKs that has an Automotive expertise program is SMK Negeri 2 Bengkulu City. So far, the automotive learning system has used books and pictures to support the learning process at school. However, this sometimes has problems, where students do not fully understand the material given, and on the other hand students have difficulty learning independently either in the school environment or at home. Expert systems in helping students diagnose car engine damage using the Expert System Development Life Cycle (ESDLC) method can be accessed online with internet access via the web link http://riska.vad.my.id. This expert system application is made using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. This expert system application has been embedded with the ESDLC method with the Forward Chaining inference engine which is used to trace damage to car engines based on the symptoms experienced by the car engine. This expert system application can help facilitate the understanding of students at SMK Negeri 2 Bengkulu City in diagnosing car engine damage, by providing consultation directions starting from entering symptoms to getting consultation results. Based on the system testing that has been done, it can be concluded that the functionality of the application has been running well and this expert system can provide consultation results based on the symptoms selected by the user through the stages of the Expert System Development Life Cycle (ESDLC) method.

The document file security application at the Bengkulu City Education Office was made using the Visual Basic .Net programming language. In this application, 2 cryptographic algorithms have been implemented that can be used to secure document files, especially the employee payroll list file, namely the DES algorithm and the AES algorithm. In addition, this application has also embedded a process to analyze the comparison of the DES and AES algorithms, so that it can be known which algorithm is better to use. The comparison aspect consists of 2 aspects, namely processing time and file size after processing. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the document file security application at the Bengkulu City Education Office is capable of carrying out the process of encrypting and decrypting document files and the functionality of the application has run as expected. From the test data that has been carried out by the encryption and decryption process, the results obtained based on the encryption processing time show that the AES algorithm is faster than the DES algorithm, based on the decryption processing time it is found that the AES algorithm is faster than the DES algorithm, based on the file size after the encryption process it is found that the DES algorithm and the AES algorithm have the same file size, based on the file size after the decryption process it is found that the DES algorithm and the AES algorithm have the same file size

Sinar Baru Makmur In determining the extension of an employee's contract, it is taken from the results of an employee's performance appraisal, if the performance results are good or very good, a contract extension will be carried out. However, in determining the results of employee contract extensions there are still some subjective judgments, and family relationships that create gaps with other employees in determining the final outcome of the assessment. To avoid subjectivity in evaluating employee performance, this study created an application for evaluating employees by classifying them using the Naive Bayes method. Employee status classification application at PT. Sinar Baru Makmur is created using the Visual Basic .Net programming language. The application can help manage employee performance appraisal evaluation data and can also help provide recommendations for the eligibility of employee status whether to be extended or not renewed based on the classification results of the Naive Bayes Method.
