Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (2442-8485) & (2460-6316), well-known as GRAMATIKA, is an international forum for original research focused on identities as local contexts, like an identity in linguistics, identity in literature, and identity in language education in global and local contexts, especially in Indonesia. These may include but are not limited to various fields, such as we are interested in interdisciplinary studies examining how issues of linguistics, literature, and education in language influence individual and community identities. In order to publish in GRAMATIKA, a study must have an overview of previous research or theoretical concepts that are packaged to justify the novelty/uniqueness of this study and central focus on local, foreign, minority, heritage, or indigenous languages (or non-standard dialects) and their intersection with either identity and/or education in language, linguistics and literature. We welcome a variety of topics, theoretical orientations, and methodological approaches (both qualitative and quantitative). Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia published by Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat, in collaboration with Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (ADOBSI) and Perkumpulan Pengelola Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia serta Pengajarannya (PPJB-SIP). Issues are published biannual (April and October) in English since 2020. Submissions are open year-around. However, before submitting, please ensure that the manuscript within Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia is written in English or Bahasa Indonesia and follows our focus and scope and author guidelines. Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia has been accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, the Republic of Indonesia in 2018 (SINTA 3). Now, Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia has been accredited SINTA 2 (2020) by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, the Republic of Indonesia started from Volume 6 Number 1 (2020). The last accreditation is valid until 2025.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa SMA N I Painan dalam menulis cerpen. Hal itu disebabkan kurang terampilnya dalam mengungkapkan ide dan pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara monoton. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan teknik Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap kemampuan karangan menulis cerpen siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Painan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen semu. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini dengan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah dua kelas, kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis data dengan cara melakukan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan hal berikut. Pertama, kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa  kelas X SMA N 1 Painan  tanpa menggunakan teknik Think Talk Write (TTW) memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 60,25 pada rentangan 56-65% berkualifikasi cukup. Kedua, kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Painan dengan menggunakan teknik Think Talk Write (TTW) memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 77,50 pada rentangan 76-85% berkualifikasi baik. Ketiga, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan teknik Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Painan karena >  yaitu 4,25 > 1,67. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik Think Talk Write (TTW) baik digunakan dalam menulis cerpen.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the strategy of dishonesty, politeness indicator, and factors used in short messages students to the lecturerin Dharma Andalas univeristy. This research uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The data of this research is the utterance that happened between student and lecturer. In collectingdata, this research used reference method. This method is followed by the technique of record. Data is done by recording a short message that goes to the lecturer's mobile phone. The method of data analysis used in this study is a method of technicalwith pragmatic, referential, and translational. The method of presentation of  thisresearch results isused formal and informal methods. The results of the data analysis showed that the strategy of impoliteness that commonly used by the students is bald on record impolitenes, followed by positive impoliteness and negative impoliteness. While the indicator of politeness is often used is to use the word sorry, please and should. Another factor that causes the most frequent of impoliteness is direct criticism with hard words.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the comparison of writing the report text of observations and exposition text using the web-based STAD model. This type of research is quantitative with the experimental method of Postest-Only Control Design. The sample of this study was 36 students of grade X MIPA 1 of SMAN 12 Padang. The results of the study using the web-based STAD model are for writing report text skills the results obtained an average score of 82.41 at a mastery level of 76-85% with Good qualifications (B) and exposition text writing skills gained an average score of 81.48 at a mastery level of 76-85% with Good qualifications. Based on the results of the t-test concluded that there is a comparison using the web-based STAD model because tcount> ttable (5.82> 1.68). So it can be concluded that web-based learning greatly affects student learning outcomes, especially in writing report texts on observations and expositions.

Abstract

Language is a means of interaction in social life. In the process of social interaction related to language use, there are often unpleasant things, such as expressions of anger, hatred, threats, cursing, cursing, and even harassment. This becomes a problem when such expressions are conveyed in public spaces. One of the interesting cases related to public speaking is the controversial speech case of Basuki Tjahja Purnama (BTP). The case of the BTP speech is linguistically interesting to study because it involves hot religious issues in Indonesia. BTP's controversial speech became a polemic because it was delivered in front of the wider community. This study reveals the controversial expressions of BTP using Praat and X-Bar Theory. The data from this study were controversial BTP speech recordings and BTP speech transcripts. This research data collection method using literature study. Data in the form of records will be broken into several parts. then the recorded data is also transcribed. The method of data analysis used the split method because the determining tools were in the language itself. The data analysis technique uses the comparative to equalize. Pratt was chosen because it is able to show pitch, intensity, formant and spectogram levels. Praat became an instrument for analyzing BTP's controversial speech recordings. This provides forensic evidence whether the speech contains speech that promotes hate speech. Based on the results of Praat's analysis, it is known that BTP utterances experience a certain emphasis when discussing issues or problems that concern him, especially those related to religion. Furthermore, X Bar Theory was used to analyze transcripts of BTP's controversial utterances. The X Bar theory is an analytical tool about the meaning of BTP speech. X Bar focuses on the core processes of lexical constituents in three domains, namely argument, complement and determinants. Based on the analysis of the X Bar theory, it is known that BTP's controversial expressions are aimed at certain parties. This is demonstrated by the emphasis on the argument domain.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis surat resmi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Padang Ganting masih rendah. Rendahnya kemampuan menulis surat resmi tersebut disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman siswa mengenai surat resmi dan teknik mengajar yang digunakan oleh guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil penerapan teknik pemodelan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis surat resmi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Padang Ganting. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII.D SMP Negeri 1 Padang Ganting yang berjumlah 30 orang. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dengan tahapan yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan, dan (4) refleksi. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan dua cara, yaitu nontes dari lembar observasi dan wawancara, serta tes menulis surat resmi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik pemodelan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas VIII.D SMP Negeri 1 Padang Ganting dalam menulis surat resmi. Peningkatan ini dapat dilihat dari hasil rata-rata tes siswa pada prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Pada prasiklus, nilai rata-rata tes menulis surat resmi siswa 46,4 dengan kualifikasi hampir cukup. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata tes siswa meningkat menjadi 69,4 dengan kualifikasi lebih dari cukup. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata tes siswa juga mengalami peningkatan menjadi 81,7 dengan kualifikasi baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan alasan masih rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis, khususnya menulis teks cerpen. Hal ini disebabkan karena guru kurang terampil dan kreatif dalam menentukan strategi pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat adakah pengaruh SPPKB dan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap kemampuan menulis teks cerpen pada siswa kelas XI SMA N 5 Surakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ada dua kelas, kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data dengan cara melakukan uji hipotesis. Analisis data yang telah dilakukan dijabarkan sebagai berikut. Pertama , kemampuan menulis teks cerpen siswa yang diajar dengan SPPKB memperoleh nilai rata-rata 77,43 dengan rentang skor 70-84 dikategorikan baik Kedua, kemampuan menulis teks cerpen siswa yang diajar dengan strategi ekspositori memperoleh nilai rata-rata 67,81 dengan rentang skor 55-69 dikategorikan cukup. Ketiga, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada pengunaan SPPKB dan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap kemampuan menulis teks cerpen pada siswa kelas XI SMA N 5 Surakarta karena t hitung (6,73)> t tabel (1,67). Dengan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa SPPKB baik digunakan pada pembelajaran menulis teks cerpen.

Abstract

Literature learning in Industrial Revolution 4.0 era must be adaptive to the development of internet-based media. The emergence of social media helped facilitate the expression and appreciation of high school students' literature. The formal education curriculum in high school should have responded to developments in the millennium. This research analyzes the objectives, functions, and teaching material of literature in the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) and Curriculum 2013 (K13) at high school level in the digital era. The study was conducted in a qualitative descriptive. Data is obtained through content analysis and structured interviews. Data analysis is interactively. The results of the study show that the objectives, functions, and teaching material of literature in the 2013 KTSP and Curriculum have not optimally responded to the development of digital literature era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the use of Betawi in ceramaha Ustad Yusuf Mansur and (2) describe the use of force in the lecture repetisis language Ustad Yusuf Mansur. Data collected through three stages, (1) listening and video mentransipkan Ustad Yusuf Mansur in Islamic lecture entitled Riadho 40 Days, Charity, and Night Prayer taken from youtobe, (2) identify and record the repeated utterances into research data, and (3) an inventory of words related to the Betawi language and stylistic repetition by using the format of the data inventory. Analyzing data descriptively. Based on the results of the study concluded the following, first, from the results of the study, the authors found 45 speech that had the Betawi. 45 speech that I have found there are three lecture titles, namely (1) Riadho 40 days, (2) Charity, and (3) Prayer Night. In a lecture titled 40 Days Riadho found 23 utterances. In a lecture titled Alms found 14 utterances. In a lecture titled Evening Prayer found 8 speech. Second, the language style reps were found in three lectures Ustad Yusuf Mansur is, epizeuksis, anaphora, and anadiplosis. Of the three types of stylistic repetition found there are 33 utterances that contain stylistic repetition. Stylistic repetition epizeuksis types totaled 22 utterances. Stylistic repetition consists of 3 types of anaphora speech. Stylistic repetition anadiplosis are 8 types of utterances. Thus, from the results of the research can be authors conclude Betawi and stylistic hallmark reps merupan Ustad Yusuf Mansur in rhetoric.

Abstract

The implementation of distance education during the Covid-19 pandemic caused various problems, especially in relation to the evaluation (assessment) process in student lectures at the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. Therefore it is necessary to have an alternative evaluation model that supports the good and effective distance lecture process, both for lecturers and students. This paper provides an overview of an evaluation model that can be used as a reference for lecturers in evaluating distance student learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic that is hitting Indonesia. This research method is qualitative based on descriptive study, including the type of research library research. Researchers obtained data from interviews with student lecturers and parents and literature studies from various literature books, journals, scientific papers, and also other documents that assess the evaluation of distance lectures. The results of this study found several things, namely: (1) types of evaluation difficulties during lectures during the Covid-19 period, (2) lecture evaluation models during the Covid-19 pandemic, and (3) various obstacles faced in implementing evaluation during lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini pada kajian Fonologi dan Leksikal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kedekatan fonetis, leksikal dan melihat tingkat kekerabatan Bahasa Minangkabau Tapan dan Bahasa Kerinci Sungai Penuh menggunakan pendekatan leksikostatistik. Penelitian ini melihat sejauh mana kedua bahasa ini berkerabat dikarenakan kedekatan jarak, tetapi beda provinsi.            Data diambil dari 200 kata Swadesh dan beberapa kata tambahan yang telah ditranskripsi ke dalam Bahasa Minangkabau Tapan dan Bahasa Kerinci Sungai Penuh. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan Bahasa Minangkabau Tapan dan Bahasa Kerinci Sungai Penuh memiliki tingkat kemiripan fonologi dan leksikal yang sangat dekat, menurut perhitungan leksikostatistik tingkat kekerabatan Bahasa Minangkabau Tapan dengan Bahasa Kerinci Sungai Penuh adalah 92,16%, persentase ini cukup besar dan dapat diklasifikasikan Bahasa Minangkabau Tapan dan Bahasa Kerinci Sungai Penuh masuk dalam katagori dialek bahasa (dialect of languages).
