Abstract

There is always an unfinished conversation about Nation because of the concept differences with one to another which is certainly not become an issue. However it is a problem once it is forced to be applied in an existing concept of the State. Democracy is dealing with the values of religion as one of the basic principles of the State, in this study it is Islam. Eventhough, reality shows that the religion state does not guarantee social justice for the whole people because of the disputes and even it is up to war and unfortunately permitted. However, for some people to establish religion state is an important thing. Not only individual but also political parties and mass organizations need the establishment of a state on the basis of religion. But these ideals are certainly not easy because it must be dealing with so much different context and concept that it has been set up before. This paper aims to describe that the history of religion state journey can be a consideration for the realization of an idealistic religion state in the middle of an unidealistic reality.

Abstract

Research on the celebration of prayer in the social and cultural community of Probolinggo, in essence, is inseparable from the value of local wisdom, as part of religious rituals in expressing its religion, with the aim to invoke blessings and safety both individually and socially. This research specifically focuses on the meaning of the celebration of shalawatan and the construction of symbolization of shalawatan values. In this context, to answer the problem above, the researcher uses the theory of symbolic interactionism, through dialectical intermediate (mind, self, society). Therefore, the interpretation of the meaning of the celebration of shalawatan, giving birth to various social symbols, then interpreted as part of the process of the formation of individual social behavior for the better. At the level of praxis, internalization the values of shalawatan celebrations significantly gives birth to several aspects; shalawatan as part of the formation of the character (good character); social harmonization; moral bull and the giving of souls (tazkiyyat al-nafs).

Abstract

In the contemporary era that is completely digital, the behavior or culture of Indonesian people has shifted to meet their needs. The shift in behavior or culture is sometimes not only in the form of sustainable innovation but also in the form of disruptive innovation, so as it requires an effort of ijtihad (independent reasoning) to address it. This type of research is a normative study using a library research approach. The results show that the application of contemporary digital economic systems becomes primary needs (dlaruriyat), at least secondary needs (hajiyyat), so that Indonesian (Muslim) people are most likely required to do so, not only in the form of sustainable innovations but also disruptive innovations applied in digital economic systems in guaranteeing the safety of public rights (hifdz al-mujtama') and building economic progress as the application of the principle of hifdz al-mal (preservation of wealth).

Abstract

Antroplogically, the portrait of the presence of pesantren, as the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia, has significantly demonstrated its kirpah in the community, both as a socio-religious institution and as an educational institution. This view, of course, cannot be separated from the value system established by the founders of the pesantren based on the Qur'an and al-Hadith, so that the values of local wisdom are in accordance with the social conditions of a pluralistic Indonesian society. Therefore, the internalization of social values above is expected to be a basic value in maintaining Islamic moderation in Indonesia, accordingly with the vision of Islam rahmatan lil'alamin, so that it can bring world peace. In this context, the habitualization of pesantren values becomes the root of social culture and has transcended its time (transculturation) so that the value system in question gives birth to a portrait of moderate Islamic education. Thus the internalization of these values, becomes (social capital) for pesantren to build and maintain Islamic moderation. Therefore, pesantren education is in essence, always in touch with the social reality that surrounds it (historical determinism and practical realism), this view can then give birth to a moderate Islamic education paradigm believed to be socio-cultural enlightenment, by promoting the principle of togetherness (ijtima'iyyah) , justice, tolerance (tasamuh) consultation (shura), towards social liberation so as to realize polite and childbirth (ukhuwah islamiyyah, wataniyyah, and insaniyah) in accordance with the vision of Islam rahmatan lil'alamain.

Abstract

This paper discusses the MUI fatwa on Ahmadiyah. The purpose of this research is to find out MUI's interpretation of religious harmony, as well as to find out the verses used by MUI in its fatwa on Ahmadiyah through the concept of hermeneutics Abou Khaled El Fadl. To answer this problem, the researcher uses the maudhu'i interpretation approach, which is interpreting the verses of the Qur'an not based on the order of the verses, but based on the problem being studied. It means to explain the verses of the Qur'an by referring to one specific subject, namely Ahmadiyya. This research uses a qualitative approach with library research. Data collection techniques are done by quoting, adapting, and analyzing the literature that is relevant to the problem discussed, then reviewing and concluding. The results showed that; through the authoritative hermeneutics of abou khaled el fadl against the MUI fatwa on the misguidance of the Ahmadiyah, there are several assumptions including: first, of the five conditions that require, there are conditions that have not been fulfilled, namely honesty and conference. Second, there are faith-based assumptions that are very dominant in this institution.

Abstract

This paper presents the lunar eclipse reckoning system in the book Nûr Al-Anwȃr analysis of KH. Noor Ahmad SS. Eclipses are natural events that occur several times each year. In the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, the event was stated as part of the signs of the greatness of God. The Book of Al-Anwar is one of the books written by the original ulama of the archipelago. The discussion in this book consists of determining the beginning of the Kamariyah month, the lunar eclipse and the solar eclipse. Markaz used in this book is Jepara markaz with coordinates 60 36 'LS and 1100 40'. calculations for other areas must be adjusted slightly. The Book of Al-Anwar includes a system of eclipse reckoning which is quite accurate. The reckoning system was included in the category of essential reckoning bi al-tahqiq. The astronomical data were sourced from al-Ma'la 'al-Sa'id data using the Jepara epoch (110 ° 40' E). The reckoning method uses an ecliptic limit value of 120 and can be scientifically justified. The trigonometric formulas are the result of the modification and transformation of the formula form of the logarithmic formulas in the book of al-Khul'ah al-Wafiyyah into the trigonometry formulas.
