Pekodimas: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat is a multidisciplinary scientific journal published by program studi pendidikan ekonomi univeristas pamulang. This journal covers some general problems from the results of research implemented to the community. The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of service to the community. It focuses on publishing articles on the results of community service activities in any form, whether in the form of products or in the form of modules and methods. This journal holds publications from all major in science, the fields of education, arts and humanities, economic and social sciences. ISSN 2797-345X (PRINT), ISSN 2828-2744 (ONLINE) Pekodimas: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat has been publishing the articles since January 2021 precisely since the release of Volume 1, Number 1, 2021. Every submitted manuscript will be read by the editorial team. Manuscripts that are evaluated by editors and deemed not in accordance with criteria of journal will be rejected without external review. Then, a manuscript that has a special interest to readers is sent to peer reviewers, with two (2) different reviewers for each article by using the double blind system. After reviewing the manuscript, it will be returned to the author for revision process. In this journal, we have twenty (20) reviewers. The editorial team makes decisions based on reviewers’ recommendation. Pekodimas: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat is published twice a year, in January and July. The Editorial Board invites the authors to submit the best manuscripts to be published in this journal.

Abstract

Tingkat literasi keuangan masyarakat Indonesia masih tergolong rendah, khususnya di kalangan pelajar SMK yang akan segera memasuki dunia kerja atau wirausaha. Kurangnya pemahaman mengenai pengelolaan keuangan dan penggunaan sistem pembayaran elektronik menjadi tantangan tersendiri di era digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa SMK Sasmitha Jaya 2 Pamulang dalam mengelola keuangan dan memanfaatkan sistem pembayaran elektronik secara bijak. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup observasi, wawancara, pelatihan interaktif, simulasi transaksi digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap penggunaan e-wallet dan QRIS serta kesadaran akan pentingnya pengelolaan keuangan pribadi yang aman. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa edukasi sistem pembayaran elektronik dapat berkontribusi positif dalam membentuk generasi muda yang cerdas finansial dan siap menghadapi tantangan ekonomi digital.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to describe the implementation of the digital literacy outreach program for teachers at the Ash-Shadiqi Islamic Boarding School Foundation in Sumenep and to analyze its impact on enhancing teacher professionalism. The program was carried out in five stages: preparation, socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. Initially, most teachers had low to moderate levels of digital literacy, but the training succeeded in improving technical skills, self-confidence, and collaboration. Evaluation results showed a 35% increase in technological understanding, and 80% of teachers were able to create their own digital teaching media. Despite encountering challenges, collaborative solutions effectively addressed them. This program not only strengthened technical skills but also fostered a digital learning community grounded in pesantren values.

Abstract

This community service is an implementation of research that has been previously conducted by the Community Service team entitled Factors Affecting Professional Commitment. As is commonly known, self-efficacy is a form of organizational behavior that builds the performance of a principal. In addition to being able to increase the professional commitment of the principal, in theory self-efficacy is believed to be able to improve the performance of the principal. This community service program aims to strengthen time management and work-life balance for principals through a workshop and experiential learning approach in order to increase their self-efficacy in carrying out leadership tasks optimally. This PKM is present in the environment of the association of private high school principals in Tangerang City. The output targets to be achieved from this program include increasing the self-efficacy of the principal, as well as publication of activity results in the form of scientific articles or community service journals. With this program, it is hoped that principals can develop healthier and more effective work patterns, which have a positive impact on their personal well-being and professional performance in leading schools. Abstract

The activity was divided into two sessions: an interactive theoretical session on the concept of time management and its relationship with student discipline, and a practical session including making daily schedules, priority exercises, and reflecting on daily time disturbances such as social media or procrastination. The service approach method used interactive dialogue, group discussions, and distribution of daily journal worksheets to practice time management patterns. Evaluation used pre-test and post-test questionnaires on time literacy and student discipline scale. Data analysis was performed using simple statistical tests (e.g., Wilcoxon test or linear regression) to measure significant changes in student literacy and discipline as a result of the intervention. Abstract

Taman Bacaan Perigi is a social institution focused on improving literacy and community empowerment, not only as a reading center but also as a vehicle for developing the capacity of local workers such as artisans, small traders, teachers, and volunteers. Observations indicate that many of the workers under their care experience difficulty managing time, setting priorities, and balancing work demands with personal needs. This condition leads to work delays, suboptimal work results, and decreased motivation. To address these issues, the Time Blocking method is offered as an effective time management strategy. The implementation of this method will be carried out at Taman Bacaan Perigi, Sawangan District, Depok City, which has a community of workers under their care from various sectors. The target group is 20–30 workers aged 20–45 who are active in the institution's activities. The application of time blocking is relevant for workers who carry out multiple roles simultaneously. It is hoped that it will help them create realistic schedules, reduce stress, and increase enthusiasm in carrying out their daily routines. Keywords: Time Blocking, Work Motivation

Abstract

This workshop, themed "Students, HMI, and Entrepreneurship," serves as a bridge to equip HMI cadres and students in general with the mindset, strategies, and practical steps for starting a business. The goal is to encourage the emergence of young entrepreneurs who are highly integrated, capable of capitalizing on opportunities in the digital era, and ready to make a real contribution to advancing the nation's economy, in line with the identity of HMI as an organization of struggle. Through this event, it is expected that a supportive ecosystem will be created for the development of startups and businesses driven by the campus generation. The objective of the workshop, which will be attended by 60-70 new students from various departments at the State University of Malang (Universitas Negeri Malang - UM), is to produce HMI KORKOM UM cadres as entrepreneurs (both male and female) who collaborate with successful seniors. The workshop will be held at the Graha Insan Cita Building in Malang City and the Ratimaya Villa in Batu City, East Java, from October 24 to 26, 2025. The discussions will cover various issues related to politics, Islamic and National Identity, and specifically address the topic of Gen-Z Entrepreneurs in the Gig Economy Era. Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve students' digital economic literacy through the application of a project-based deep learning approach (PjBL). The activity implementation method includes planning, implementation, reflection, and follow-up stages. The activity was held at Nurul Falaah Senior High School, Gunung Sindur, Bogor Regency, for three days, October 16–18, 2025, with 30 students participating. The activity was carried out through workshops, interactive presentations using digital media, and reflective discussions. The results of the activities showed an increase in students' understanding of the concept of digital economic literacy and their ability to connect economic theory with digital economic phenomena in everyday environments. Students were able to demonstrate a more critical and wise attitude in making technology-based economic decisions, as well as understanding the risks and opportunities that arise in digital economic activities. Teachers also gained new insights into the application of project-based learning and in-depth learning strategies that are contextual and applicable. Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) is one form of Tridharma of Higher Education. This PKM is proposed to carry out activities that are the implementation of demonstration methods in mathematics subjects. This activity is proposed with the consideration that there is still a lack of student knowledge about demonstration methods in mathematics lessons. Therefore, with this PKM activity, it can make it easier for students to face mathematics learning. Activities in the form of coaching, socialization and education that have been carried out at SD Negeri 31 Jati Tanah Tinggi have run smoothly in accordance with the desired targets and outcomes. Based on the results of the socialization of mathematics learning through the Implementation of Demonstration Methods in Mathematics Subjects for Grade IV Students of SD Negeri 31 Jati Tanah Tinggi Padang provide benefits that can eliminate student boredom in learning mathematics, provide variety at SD Negeri 31 Jati Tanah Tinggi Padang. This means that there is a significant influence on the socialization of mathematics learning through the Implementation of Demonstration Methods in Mathematics Subjects for Grade IV Students of SD Negeri 31 Jati Tanah Tinggi Padang. Abstract

This Community Service is an implementation of research entitled The Influence of Quality of Work Life and Organizational Culture on Professional Commitment. Indonesian Migrant Workers are one of the backbones of the national economy and Hong Kong is one of the main destinations for migrant workers from Indonesia. The migrant worker community and civil society organizations in Hong Kong play a crucial role in assisting Indonesian migrant workers. In this context, the role of the community, non-governmental organizations, and the state is crucial in efforts to improve the quality of life and work of Indonesian migrant workers. The Indonesian migrant community in Hong Kong has demonstrated high solidarity through educational, spiritual, and advocacy activities. Through a structured and participatory online workshop approach, it is hoped that the quality of life and work of Indonesian migrant workers in Hong Kong can be significantly improved. Abstract

Hong Kong remains one of the primary destinations for PMI, especially in domestic and service sectors. However, many returning PMI struggle to achieve sustainable economic resilience due to limited understanding of entrepreneurship, low financial literacy, and restricted access to business capital. Meanwhile, Indonesia’s shift toward a digital economy, the rapid development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and increasing regional investment present significant opportunities for PMI to pursue business and employment prospects upon their return. To support this transition, a Community Service Program (PKM) was delivered through online training focused on business and job opportunities in Indonesia in 2025, as well as financing mechanisms through banking and non-banking financial institutions. Conducted in collaboration with the Indonesia International School Hong Kong, the program involved 150 active PMI who are still working in Hong Kong and aimed to strengthen financial literacy and entrepreneurial readiness.
