Abstract

Digital access to mental health services has become increasingly important as psychological consultation remains limited by time, cost, geographical barriers, and the availability of professional practitioners. This study aims to design and develop MindCare, a web-based reservation system that facilitates online appointment booking for psychological consultation services. The study employed the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, consisting of planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance stages. The system was developed using the MERN stack, including MongoDB as the database, Express.js and Node.js for backend development, and React.js for the frontend interface. The main features include user registration and authentication, psychologist search based on categories, online consultation booking, Midtrans payment gateway integration, educational mental health articles, user profile management, comment and rating features, and an administrative dashboard for managing doctors, schedules, categories, articles, and orders. System validation was conducted using black-box testing across several browsers, including Google Chrome, Brave, and Microsoft Edge. The results indicate that all core functionalities operated successfully and responsively on both user and admin interfaces. This study contributes to the development of digital health information systems by providing an integrated web-based platform that improves accessibility, efficiency, and structured management of psychological consultation services. The originality of this study lies in the integration of mental health reservation services, category-based psychologist search, online payment, educational content, and administrative management within a single web-based system.

Abstract

The high population density in West Jakarta has led to an increased demand for housing; however, rising property prices have become a barrier for younger generations to own a place to live. The limited land availability in densely populated areas like West Jakarta encourages the development of vertical housing as a solution to the growing residential needs, such as the Rukost Tawakal IX project. This building is designed as a five-story residence with a reinforced concrete structure. Given that Indonesia is located in an earthquake-prone region, the building’s structural system must be evaluated against seismic loads in accordance with national design standards. This study aims to evaluate the structural system of the Rukost Tawakal IX building using structural analysis software based on the provisions of SNI 1726:2019, SNI 1727:2020, and SNI 2847:2019. The evaluation focuses on the performance of primary structural elements such as columns, beams, and concrete slabs, as well as their compliance with the requirements of the Special Moment Resisting Frame (SMRF) system and the Strong Column Weak Beam (SCWB) principle, which are designated for high-ductility structures. The results of the evaluation are expected to provide recommendations for a safe, efficient, and earthquake-resistant structural design.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of video games in today's digital ecosystem shows a shift in function from being merely a medium of entertainment to a medium with educational potential. One genre that is interesting to study is music games, as they combine visual and auditory stimuli with motor responses in an integrated manner. This study aims to analyze the use of the music game Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage! as an alternative educational medium in improving cognitive function and visual-auditory coordination in music game players. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. There were ten research subjects aged 18–19 years, divided into two groups: music game players and non-music game players. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and the administration of simple and non-standard cognitive tasks, including short-term memory tests, attention control tests, problem-solving tests, and simple arithmetic tests. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data presentation, and descriptive conclusion drawing. The results showed that music game players tended to have more stable working memory, attention control, cognitive flexibility, and information processing speed than non-players. These findings indicate that music games not only serve as a means of entertainment but also have the potential as an educational medium that can be used to train cognitive functions and visual-auditory coordination, especially in the late adolescent age group.

Abstract

The Randublatung-Kedungtuban road section in Blora Regency is a Class III road connecting Blora Regency with Bojonegoro Regency and is traversed daily by heavy vehicles, particularly logistics trucks and material transport trucks. The existing flexible pavement condition is considered ineffective in withstanding heavy vehicle loads on expansive soil, resulting in pavement damage such as cracks and potholes that pose a risk of traffic accidents. This design study aims to determine the traffic volume, the subgrade bearing capacity, the rigid pavement structural thickness, and the budget plan (RAB) required for the construction of a rigid pavement on this road section using the AASHTO 1993 method. Data were collected through a 3×24-hour average daily traffic (LHR) survey using CCTV, as well as subgrade bearing capacity testing using a Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) at 200-meter intervals. The collected data were then processed to determine the concrete slab thickness, reinforcement requirements, joint details, and the budget plan. The design results show a traffic volume of 31,810 vehicles, or 27,637 pcu/day, with a design subgrade CBR value of 6.2%. Based on these results, the planned concrete slab thickness is 25 cm, with transverse reinforcement of Ø13-200 mm and longitudinal reinforcement of Ø10-200 mm, dowels of Ø32-300 mm with a length of 450 mm, and tie-bars of D16-1000 mm with a length of 700 mm. The budget plan required for the construction of the concrete road pavement on this section amounts to Rp.14,290,939,000-,. The results of this design are expected to serve as a reference for the Public Works and Bina Marga Agency of Central Java Province in upgrading the road structure of the Randublatung-Kedungtuban section into a rigid pavement that is stronger, safer, and better suited to traffic demands and local environmental conditions.

Abstract

The Timely student graduation is one of the key indicators used to evaluate higher education performance. Early identification of students at risk of delayed graduation enables universities to implement appropriate academic interventions and improve student success rates. This study aims to develop a student graduation prediction model using the Random Forest algorithm and to optimize its hyperparameters through Bayesian Optimization. A synthetic dataset consisting of 750 student records was employed, incorporating demographic, socioeconomic, and academic variables. The research methodology included data preprocessing, one-hot encoding, stratified data splitting with an 80:20 ratio for training and testing sets, baseline Random Forest model development, Bayesian hyperparameter optimization using the Tree-structured Parzen Estimator (TPE) with 20 optimization trials, and model evaluation using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, receiver operating characteristic area under the curve (ROC-AUC), and average precision. Experimental results showed that the baseline Random Forest achieved an accuracy of 70.67%, precision of 75.00%, recall of 71.43%, F1-score of 73.17%, and ROC-AUC of 82.74%. Bayesian Optimization identified the optimal hyperparameter configuration consisting of 350 trees, a maximum tree depth of six, a minimum split size of seven samples, and a minimum leaf size of four samples. Although the optimized model produced identical accuracy and F1-score values, it improved the ROC-AUC to 83.66% and the average precision to 87.68%, indicating better probability discrimination between the two classes. Feature importance analysis revealed that the number of failed courses, first-semester GPA, cumulative GPA after two semesters, attendance rate, and repeated courses were the most influential predictors. These findings demonstrate that Bayesian Optimization enhances the probabilistic ranking capability of Random Forest and can support the development of an early warning system for identifying students at risk of delayed graduation. However, further validation using real-world academic data is required before practical implementation.

Abstract

Digital prize scams are increasingly distributed through text messages, social media, and instant messaging platforms using persuasive expressions, suspicious links, and urgent instructions. This study aims to develop a machine learning-based approach for identifying Indonesian-language scam messages disguised as digital prize notifications. The dataset consisted of 6,000 text messages, comprising 3,000 scam messages and 3,000 non-scam messages. The data were manually labeled by two independent annotators and processed through case folding, text cleaning, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming. Text features were transformed into numerical representations using Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF). Five classification algorithms were evaluated, including Multinomial Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and XGBoost. Model performance was assessed using stratified five-fold cross-validation based on accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and ROC-AUC. The results showed that XGBoost achieved the best performance, with an accuracy of 97.0%, precision of 97.2%, recall of 96.8%, F1-score of 97.0%, and ROC-AUC of 99.3%. Scam messages were commonly characterized by words related to prizes, winning notifications, free offers, claims, and urgency. These findings indicate that TF-IDF combined with XGBoost can effectively support the automatic detection of digital prize scam messages. Future studies should incorporate URL characteristics, sender metadata, and contextual language models to improve detection performance.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged more services to interconnect through REST APIs. Under high read load, the same requests often access the relational database repeatedly, increasing latency and reducing throughput. This study aims to analyze the effect of Redis caching with a cache-aside pattern on REST API performance in the Laravel 12 and NestJS 11 frameworks. The method used is a quantitative experiment with a 2×2 factorial design combining framework and cache condition (no cache and Redis). Load testing was conducted using k6 at 50, 100, and 200 virtual users. Both APIs used the same MySQL dataset of 1,000 products, the same endpoints, and a 60-second cache TTL. The observed metrics include RPS, average latency, median, P95, error rate, and cache hit ratio. The results show that Redis provides a substantial performance improvement on NestJS. At 200 virtual users, average latency decreased by 89.8% and RPS increased by 111.3%, with a hit ratio of 99.7–99.9%. On Laravel, the hit ratio reached 100%, but latency improvement was only 6.7–10.8% at 50–100 virtual users and remained unstable at 200 virtual users. It can be concluded that Redis is beneficial for APIs with many read operations, but the magnitude of its benefit depends on the application runtime’s ability to handle concurrency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using rock dust as a partial replacement of fine aggregate on the compressive strength of concrete. The substitution variations used were 0%, 30%, and 75% of sand with a concrete design quality of fc' 25 MPa and the mixture planning method refers to SNI 7656:2012. Tests conducted included material characteristics, slump, setting time, and concrete compressive strength at the ages of 7, 14, and 28 days. The results showed that increasing the rock dust content affected the properties of fresh and hardened concrete. The highest slump value was obtained at the 30% variation of 170 mm, while the fastest setting time occurred at the 75% variation of 163 minutes. The results of the compressive strength test showed that normal concrete (0%) had the highest compressive strength of 26.16 MPa at the age of 28 days, followed by the 30% variation of 25.38 MPa, and the 75% variation of 20.37 MPa. Overall, 30% coal dust substitution still produces compressive strength close to normal concrete, while 75% substitution causes a significant decrease in compressive strength.

Abstract

Porcelain is a type of high-quality ceramic material known for its excellent physical and chemical properties. It is characterized by high density, very low water absorption (less than 0.5%), and good mechanical strength, making it ideal for household products such as plates. The main raw materials used in porcelain production include kaolin (white clay), feldspar, and quartz, which are processed through forming, drying, and firing stages at high temperatures around 1200–1400°C. In the production of KP24C type porcelain plates, materials such as clay, kaolin, silica sand, and feldspar are used. The process begins with the mixing stage, where materials are blended until homogeneous. Then, the filter press stage reduces the moisture content to 23%, resulting in a material called cake. This cake is further processed in a pugmill for homogenization. The forming stage uses an Automatic Ceramic Machine (ACM) for automatic shaping. The plates are then fired in a kiln to remove all moisture (0% water content). The next stage involves glazing to provide a glossy surface, followed by secondary drying in the finishing glossware process. The final stage is quality control, which includes visual inspection, color, gloss, dimensions, and shape assessments. Test results show a shrinkage percentage of approximately 28,21% after firing, indicating the success of the densification and drying process.

Abstract

Lifting is a common activity in fabrication and construction processes. It is a hazardous activity; failure during the lifting process can cause permanent damage to the products or structures being worked on. Furthermore, failure during the lifting process can endanger worker safety and even jeopardize the entire project. Lifting operations require not only calculations of the lifting equipment’s capacity—such as cranes and supporting tools like slings and shackles—but also an assessment of structural strength. Therefore, structural analysis under lifting conditions is essential; errors in planning can have severe consequences for the project. The planning stages are carried out using STAADpro software, starting from geometric modeling through to inputting parameters in accordance with applicable standards and regulations, such as the load magnification factor specified in DNVGL-ST -N001 Marine Operations and Marine Warranty, and the results of the analysis using STAADpro are re-verified through manual calculations in accordance with SNI 1729-2020 Specifications for Structural Steel Buildings. This verification process is carried out to ensure that the numerical analysis results obtained meet the requirements for strength, stability, and structural performance in accordance with design standards.
