Abstract

Pulau Madura memiliki kekayaan budaya, tradisi dan kearifan lokal beragam. Salah satunya adalah musik. Di antara jenis-jenis musik yang ada di Madura, ada satu yang cukup unik dan menarik, yaitu musik tontong yang ada di kabupaten sumenep. Tontong adalah jenis musik yang menggunakan alat-alat tradisional dari bambu atau kayu (kentungan). Tontong biasanya dibuat dengan ukuran dan bentuk berbeda-beda sehingga menghasilkan nada atau bunyi bervariasi. Musik tontong menjadi salah satu ikon budaya kabupaten semenep yang terus berkembang sesuai dengan zaman. Musik ini menunjukkan kreativitas dan komitmen masyarakat sumenep dalam rangka untuk melestarikan dan mengembangkan seni musik lokal.Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi. Sumber data yang dihasilkan berupa sumber data primer yang dihasilkan dari wawancara tidak terstruktur dan observasi non-participant dan sumber data sekunder yang dihasilkan dari dokumentasi.Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan, bahwa dalam tradisi Tong-Tong merupakan salah satu nilai pendidikan Islam yang didalamnya diyakni nilai pendidikan akhlak. Nilai pendidikan sosial, dan nilai-nilai pendidikan yang berbentuk sholawat yang mimang dianjurkan dalam islam. Hal ini juga disebabkan bahwa nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam merupakan keyakinan yang ada dalam diri manusia yang sesuai dengan norma serta ajaran Islam demi menciptakan pribadi manusia yang sempurna

Abstract

Kesantunan bahasa dalam masyarakat Madura memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk hubungan sosial yang harmonis, terutama dalam konteks keagamaan. Bahasa bukan hanya alat komunikasi, tetapi juga sarana untuk menunjukkan rasa hormat terhadap orang lain, terutama tokoh agama seperti kiai dan ulama. Dalam interaksi keagamaan, masyarakat Madura cenderung menggunakan bahasa yang lebih sopan dan formal, menghindari kata-kata kasar atau tidak pantas. Penggunaan bahasa yang halus mencerminkan penghargaan terhadap ilmu agama dan posisi tinggi yang dimiliki oleh tokoh agama tersebut. Selain penggunaan kata-kata yang tepat, kesantunan bahasa juga melibatkan bahasa tubuh, seperti menghindari kontak mata langsung dengan orang yang lebih tua atau dihormati, serta memperhatikan postur tubuh yang sopan. Sikap tubuh yang rendah hati, misalnya dengan sedikit membungkuk atau duduk lebih rendah saat berbicara dengan orang yang lebih dihormati, menjadi bagian penting dalam menunjukkan penghormatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan observasi dan wawancara untuk menggali bagaimana bahasa Madura diterapkan dalam konteks keagamaan, dan menemukan bahwa kesantunan berbahasa tidak hanya mencakup pemilihan kata, tetapi juga sikap dan ekspresi tubuh yang menjadi bagian integral dari tradisi budaya yang dihormati di masyarakat Madura, guna menjaga keharmonisan sosial dan mempererat hubungan antarindividu dalam komunitas keagamaan.

Abstract

Based on the methodology of the purified Sunnah and its benefits to all of humanity, the research addressed the issue of fear and established its goals from a modern perspective on the basis of the noble hadiths reported from the Prophet, the Chosen One, and his family, Khair al-Wari (may God bless him and his family), as the Islamic society, past and present, has deteriorated greatly, in which the scales have been turned, and it has prevailed. It contains corruption, and injustices appear in all aspects of life because of negative fear: which is a person’s fear of creation, and this is naturally in line with the characteristics of an uncertain person, which is relative and varies between people in their societies and environments, and is affected by the circumstances and facts that lead to that fear. He considered it a reprehensible fear, as it is appropriate for the era of the message, and the Messenger (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) meant “So obey my Messenger, and strive with him if you are believers,” because the believer does not fear anyone but God, so he called for an explanation of the negative energy imposed by planting fear in people’s hearts from The members of one society, which negatively affects societal security and social peace, and studying this in light of hadiths about fear. The research mentioned the meaning of fear linguistically and idiomatically, which referred directly or indirectly to the foundations and structures of man’s relationship with his Creator and with society, and the consequent building of societal peace. And the possibility of developing solutions and treatments for social diseases that cause the spread of fear and the lack of reassurance of individuals in their homes, or in their human communities, by citing examples from the noble hadiths about fear and it meanings: support and significance.

Abstract

This study examines the interpretation of Surah Al-Ma’un using an objective methodology aimed at shedding light on the profound meanings and lessons derived from this chapter. The study begins with an introduction to the Surah, which is one of the short Meccan chapters containing powerful messages related to social ethics and responsibility toward others. The study focuses on analyzing the vocabulary and linguistic structures in the Surah, such as the meaning of "Al-Ma’un" and its implications in the context of offering assistance and kindness to people. Additionally, it addresses the verses describing the hypocrites who outwardly display religiosity but fail to fulfill the rights of Allah and His servants, particularly in matters of prayer, honoring orphans, and helping the needy. The key conclusion of the study is that the overarching message of Surah Al-Ma’un is that denial of accountability and recompense is the root of all vile character traits and a primary cause of great sins. The Surah emphasizes the importance of honoring orphans, caring for the poor, encouraging others to do the same, being diligent in prayer, maintaining sincerity in all acts of worship, and engaging in good deeds, including offering small assistance such as lending utensils, buckets, or books. Allah (Glorified be He) condemns those who fail to perform such acts. The commentators have extracted numerous benefits from the verses of this remarkable Surah, varying in the extent of their elaboration. This study organizes and categorizes these benefits according to the order of the Surah’s verses. Among the greatest lessons of this Surah is that neglecting the rights of the Creator inevitably leads to neglecting the rights of His creation.

Abstract

The Maulid al-Nabi tradition is not merely a commemoration of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), but also serves as an important medium for representing and transmitting prophetic values to the Muslim community. This study aims to explore how the concept of Living Sunnah—the dynamic and contextual embodiment of the Prophet’s teachings—manifests within the religious practices of society through the celebration of Maulid al-Nabi. Employing a qualitative approach and a descriptive-analytical method, this research examines various forms of rituals, symbols, and religious narratives that emerge within the Maulid tradition, both in oral expressions and collective practices. The findings indicate that the Maulid tradition functions not only as a spiritual space but also as an educational and cultural arena that facilitates the internalization of values such as compassion (rahmah), moral exemplarity, social solidarity, and love for the Prophet. In this context, the Living Sunnah thrives through tangible practices and is transmitted intergenerationally via religious cultural expressions. This study reaffirms that the preservation of local religious traditions can serve as an effective strategy for maintaining the relevance and continuity of prophetic Islamic values in the daily life of the Muslim community.
