Denmark issued a comprehensive and integral advanced policy to respond to these threats and is considered a pioneer in the implementation of EU policies. This analysis used a qualitative method with a critical approach to the implementation of Denmark in tackling the threat of global warming. The results show that the Danish’s success in realizing the EU policy is based on the eagerness to remove the stigma as a country that produces the highest greenhouse gas emissions in the world, according to the Brundtland Commission. Abstract

Abstract

This article seeks to explore how China understands multilateralism. Employing content analysis, this article analyzes Chinese leaders’ speeches surrounding the establishment of AIIB. The result finds that within the speeches, “fazhan” (development/to develop) is the most frequently mentioned word. The narratives concerning the word suggest that from the China perspective, a multilateral cooperation framework is instrumental to pursue its long-term geopolitical goals. For China, multilateral practices should be based on the principle of flexibility. On the one hand, the implementation of such a principle is central in projecting the image of China as being accommodative. On the other hand, it is fundamentally instrumental to ensure that China would have wider room to maneuver in achieving and defending its interests. This paper uses a descriptive discussion with qualitative methods and concepts of hybridization and cosmopolitanism. The results of this study indicate, Islamic metal occurs, because of the low conflict between government, Islam and metal. The presence of Islamic metal in the metal scene changes community patterns, habits and identity in metal, by applying values based on Islam. The existence of Islamic metal as a new sub-genre incites the pros and cons of Islam and the metal scene, because it considers the phenomenon of exclusivity in inclusiveness in metal.

Abstract

This study explains Uyghurs human rights violation in Xinjiang, where Saudi Arabia as world Islamic country has responded in passive way by not doing bold actions to defend the fellow Uyghurs muslims. In the meantime, the relationship between Saudi Arabia and China have become stronger as these countries become dependent towards each other, specifically with its economic cooperation especially under Belt and Road Initiatives. With the qualitative method, there is a high possibility that China utilizes passive response from Saudi Arabia as Saudi Arabia signed a joint-statement to appreciate China’s action on the issue against Uyghurs Muslims. This will lead to the Saudi Arabia’s economic interests as the reason behind its passive action in facing the human rights issue in Xinjiang as as Saudi Arabia is trying to maintain its normality with China for the sake of its bilateral relationship.
