An objective of the Robust: Research of Business and Economics Studies is to promote the wide dissemination of the results of systematic scholarly inquiries into the broad field of economics and business research. The Robust is intended to be the journal for publishing articles reporting the results of Economics and business research. The Robust invites manuscripts in the areas: Economics Management Business Studies Islamic Economics Islamic Philanthropy, Islamic Management, Islamic Finance, Islamic Marketing, Strategic Management, Operation Management, Islamic Human Resource, Islamic E-business, Islamic Accounting, Management Control System, Management Information System, International Business, Business Ethics and Sustainable, and Entrepreneurship. The Robust accepts articles in any Economics and business-related subjects and any research methodology that meet the standards established for publication in the journal. The primary, but not exclusive, audiences are academicians, graduate students, practitioners, and others interested in business research. The primary criterion for publication in Robust is the significance of the contribution an article makes to the literature in economics and business area, i.e., the significance of the contribution and on the rigor of analysis and presentation of the paper. The acceptance decision is made based upon an independent review process that provides critically constructive and prompt evaluations of submitted manuscripts.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of fish production by fishermen in Tondonggeu Village, Nambo District, Kendari City, from the perspective of Islamic Economics. This qualitative study used methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. Data analysis included data reduction, presentation, drawing conclusions, and validating the data through source, technical, and time triangulation. The findings indicate that production management in Tondonggeu Village involves functions like planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the production process. Furthermore, when viewed through an Islamic economic lens, production management aligns with principles such as using simple and eco-friendly fishing equipment and marketing catches without harmful chemicals.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of capital structure, earnings management and public ownership on financial distress in the food and beverage industry in Indonesia, which is proxied by the Deb to Equity Ratio, Working Capital Accrual to Period Income, Total Public Shares to Outstanding Shares. This research uses secondary data obtained through documentation in the form of annual financial reports from food and beverage industry companies in Indonesia. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative analysis in the form of descriptive statistical tests, normality tests, and hypothesis testing with paired sample tests. The research results show that Capital Structure, Profit Management and Public Ownership have an influence and significance.

Abstract

Each tribe has various unique characteristics and customs, such as variations on themes, costumes, and traditional handwork. For example, one of the very unique and unusual arts in South Kalimantan is sasirangan fabric. One example of this is the Aman Sasirangan business, which produces sasirangan fabrics. The purpose of this study is to understand and see whether the Aman Sasirangan business deserves to be said to be an udaha, in terms of market and marketing aspects. One type of research conducted is descriptive research. Data analysis techniques include market and marketing analysis. The subject matter of this research can include market and marketing analysis. The research findings show that Aman Sasirangan can be predicted to be viable when a thorough analysis of the business research is conducted. This is related to market and sales trends that include product development, sales growth in the surrounding area, promotional activities and price phase adjustments such as the use of creative advertising, social media, and cooperation with local communities, which can have a positive impact on business potential.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep dan implikasi dari citra religiusitas merek dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam. Citra religiusitas merek mengacu pada persepsi, kesan, dan keyakinan yang muncul dan tercermin dalam nilai-nilai spiritual dan religiusitas konsumen terhadap suatu merek tertentu. Konsep ini mengacu pada tingkat keyakinan konsumen yang tinggi terhadap merek yang menghasilkan ikatan spiritual antara merek dan konsumen. Dengan menggunakan citra merek berbasis agama, perusahaan atau produk dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen dalam memilih produk dibandingkan dengan pesaingnya. Hal ini disebabkan adanya energi spiritual yang mengikat kepercayaan konsumen dengan citra merek tersebut. Salah satu implikasi penggunaan merek agama ini adalah bahwa seseorang akan merasa puas dan menikmati hidup, tidak hanya dalam dunia ini tetapi juga di akhirat. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman konsep citra religiusitas merek dalam ekonomi Islam dan implikasinya bagi bisnis yang beroperasi di pasar Islam.

Abstract

Sharia Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) have become the subject of significant attention in economic development in Indonesia. With the majority of the rural population being Muslims, Sharia BUMDes offers great potential for developing an economy based on Islamic principles. This research shows the potential of Sharia BUMDes, as well as the opportunities, challenges they face and their role in developing the village sharia economy. Islamic economic principles such as justice, openness and sustainability are the basis for Sharia BUMDes in advancing the local economy. However, the implementation of this concept is faced with challenges such as a lack of public understanding of Islamic economics and pressure to manage BUMDes professionally. By building strong partnerships with local economic actors and implementing sharia economic principles effectively, Sharia BUMDes have great potential to become a driving force for a sustainable and inclusive economy at the village level.

Abstract

The government has sought welfare for underprivileged people through social assistance programs. However, there are problems in its distribution that prevent the goal of social assistance from being achieved, in fact the poverty rate increases. One of the problems with misuse of social assistance itself is the inaccuracy of targeting social assistance recipients due to a lack of updated recipient data and misuse of the social fund budget by certain individuals in taking advantage of profit opportunities. In this research, we examine the problem of misuse of social assistance in Karangtengah village, from motives to solutions according to an Islamic economic perspective. The type of research carried out is legal research with a case and statutory approach. The data collection technique uses observation and literature techniques. The results of the research show that the problem of misuse of social assistance in Karangtengha village is due to selfish and self-serving motives and also due to non-transparency of data and lack of supervision, this clearly deviates from Islamic teachings because in Islam it is forbidden to take other people's property in vain, the solution is to increase socialization so that public self-awareness is formed and supervision is tightened and there is transparency.

Abstract

Educated unemployment has always been a complex problem that requires serious handling by the government. It is necessary to know what factors influence the level of educated unemployment in Indonesia to make it easier for the government to handle it. Some literature states that the size of the workforce and economic growth also influence the unemployment rate. This research aims to analyze the influence of the size of the workforce and economic growth on the level of educated unemployment in Southeast Sulawesi. The research was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis using data from 2012 to 2021. The results of the research show that the two variables, both the number of the workforce and economic growth, do not have a significant effect on educated unemployment in Southeast Sulawesi. The increase in the workforce in Southeast Sulawesi does not affect the unemployment rate. And the level of economic growth represented by GRDP does not necessarily reduce the number of unemployed significantly.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much influence income, education and lifestyle have on the consumption patterns of the business community in Konda Satu Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency. This research uses quantitative methods with a population of 30 respondents and multiple linear regression analysis tools with the help of the SPSS program. The results of data processing show that partial income (X1) has a positive and significant effect on consumption patterns (Y), education (X2) has a positive and significant effect on consumption patterns (Y), and lifestyle (X3) has a positive and significant effect on consumption patterns (Y). In contrast, simultaneously income, education and lifestyle have a significant effect on consumption patterns.

Abstract

Sharia People's Financing Bank is a bank that carries out business activities based on sharia principles and in its activities does not provide services in payment traffic. This research aims to determine the effect of mudharabah, musyarakah, murabahah, ijarah and istishna financing on profitability at Sharia People's Financing Banks in 2019-2022. The population in this study was 167 BPRS, through a purposive sampling technique with several predetermined criteria, a sample of 10 BPRS was obtained. This type of research is quantitative with panel data regression analysis using E-views 12 software. The results of this research show that the murabahah variable has a positive and significant effect on profitability at BPRS. This means that every increase or decrease in ROA affects the profitability of the Sharia People's Financing Bank. Meanwhile, the mudharabah, musyarakah, ijarah and istishna variables have no effect on profitability at BPRS. This means that every increase or decrease in ROA does not affect profitability.

Abstract

Company value is investors' perception of the company which is often linked to share prices. The growth of Islamic banking is increasing, the implementation of Islamic Corporate Governance (ICG) has become an obligation. ICG implementation aims to overcome the emergence of various risks and problems. Apart from these goals, ICG is also the main focus for making banking superior and highly competitive. The results in this study indicate that Islamic corporate governance has a positive effect on firm value, and earnings management has a positive effect on firm value. The conclusion in this study is H1 which states that Islamic corporate governance has a negative and significant effect on accepted firm value and H2 states that earnings management has a positive and significant effect on accepted firm value and H3 which states simultaneously that both variables, namely Islamic corporate governance and earnings management can have an effect to accepted firm value.
