Abstract

Menstruation marks the onset of a woman's reproductive phase. Dysmenorrhea is a common issue among young women, often affecting their daily routines. To alleviate dysmenorrhea symptoms, various approaches, both pharmacological and non-pharmacological, have been explored. One such non-pharmacological method involves consuming green coconut water, which is rich in calcium, magnesium, and vitamin C. This research aims to assess the impact of green coconut water (Cocos nucifera Linn variety Viridis) on reducing menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) among students at Babun Najah Islamic State Junior High School in Banda Aceh. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The research population comprised 65 students, with 15 respondents participating in the study. Data collection took place from May 1st to 20th, 2023. The Wilcoxon test results for the pretest conducted on the first day yielded a mean score of 5.133, while the posttest on the third day resulted in a mean score of 0.733, with a significance value of 0.000, indicating a reduction in menstrual pain. The findings of this research suggest that the consumption of green coconut water (Cocos nucifera Linn variety Viridis) can effectively reduce dysmenorrhea among students at Babun Najah Islamic State Junior High School in Banda Aceh. It is recommended that respondents consider incorporating green coconut water into their routines to alleviate dysmenorrhea pain.

Abstract

The development of road or toll road infrastructure in a country can be used as a benchmark to determine the level of economic progress of a country, both macro and micro. The location of toll exits has a significant effect in absorbing labor and creating new business activities. Projects are dynamic, so contractors must be responsive to changes in situations and conditions on the project, if they want to succeed in reaping optimum profits. Aspects of planning a highly competitive construction at this time are very demanding on accuracy, effectiveness, efficiency, and economy in analyzing a project. In the world of construction projects, there are many things that can be done, one of which is cost control. In controlling costs, efforts can be made so that the realization of costs that occur is in accordance with the needs of implementation and is not excessive, such as cost suppression efforts, namely making savings without reducing quantity or quality. The Earned Value Method is used to determine project performance in terms of costs at one time, determine project performance in terms of schedule/time at one time, estimate costs to complete the project after the evaluation time and estimate the time to complete the project after the evaluation. In this research the author carried out a cost analysis using the Earned Value Method on the preservation of the Section 5 Pandaan Malang Toll Exit Road.

Abstract

Infrastructure development plays a very important role as capital in efforts to stimulate increased economic productivity, both at the national and regional levels, as well as reducing unemployment, alleviating people from poverty and of course improving the standard of living of the community at large. Delays in completing a project are a problem that often arises and can have an impact on the entire work, especially with time delays resulting in increased costs which can be detrimental to many parties. This delay also occurred in the Kapas-Glendeng 8 bridge construction project, Bojonegoro Regency. In anticipation of these delays, it is necessary to accelerate time and costs. In this research the author uses the crashing method with the alternative of increasing working hours. The crashing method is a way of estimating cost variables to determine the maximum and most economical reduction in the duration of an activity that is still possible to reduce. The research results showed that the total time and cost of the project required after crashing was 174 calendar days with a cost under accelerated conditions of Rp. 2,555,189,555.98 with a difference of 6 calendar days from the normal duration of 180 calendar days and a fee under normal conditions of Rp. 2,548,581,990.63.

Abstract

In construction projects, inadequate implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OHSMS) poses risks to the safety and well-being of workers, resulting in decreased performance and compromised project quality. This study focuses on the Kapas-Glendeng bridge widening project in Bojonegoro Regency, identifying key obstacles such as workforce competence, limited experience, insufficient training, and challenges accessing digital information. Additionally, issues related to worker involvement in regulation-making, understanding of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), reporting procedures, and documentation of work accidents were observed. To address these challenges, the study recommends strategies such as involving untrained workers in competence-building programs, providing apprenticeships for less experienced personnel, implementing comprehensive training information systems, actively engaging workers in project planning, enforcing OHS monitoring systems, ensuring mandatory PPE usage with penalties for violations, and establishing clear procedures for recording and reporting work accidents. This proactive approach aims to enhance OHS implementation and mitigate risks in construction projects.

Abstract

Since customer support is time-limited, chatbot programs can assist potential online store visitors before they make a purchase. The general public cannot always answer inquiries or respond to customer requests. Virtual customer support allows potential customers to contact vendors regarding products they wish to purchase. This technology is very helpful in providing quick and accurate answers to various customer concerns and issues. The study focuses on the online retail environment where customer support is crucial for potential buyers before making a purchase. The Artificial Intelligence Markup Language (AIML) and Semantic Ontology were used by A.L.I.C.E. (Artificial Internet Linguistic Computer Agency) to develop an AI chatbot application. There are no online stores that use virtual customer service (chatbots) for customer support, so Batik Cloth, an application that offers batik textiles for sale in Malang, was chosen as the online store chatbot application for this study. Creating a chatbot with semantic capabilities involves using ontologies to process queries with more precise meaning. It achieves 92% accuracy for 15 types of relevant queries and responses, followed by 10 frequently asked questions as answers. Created by a potential buyer. Virtual customer support systems (chatbots) can respond to queries with similar terms or meanings by employing ontologies and semantics to deliver answers that fit the queries.

Abstract

The implementation of construction work has the main targets in construction management, such as construction costs, quality of construction work and construction implementation time. Construction activities can be declared successful in their management if they produce work products with the quality criteria that have been determined, on time, and according to the agreed costs. Using EVM (Earned Value Method) in project management can be used to determine cost performance and implementation time during the project and the indicators used for analysis include: BCWP (Budget Cost of Work Performance), BCWS (Budget Cost of Work Schedule), ACWP (Actual Cost of Work Performance), SV (Schedule Variance), CV (Cost Variance), SPI (Schedule Performance Index), CPI (Cost Performance Index), EAS (Estimated At Schedule) and ETS (Estimated Temporary Schedule). By using this method in the Sports Facilities Construction Project, Kecamatan Kedewan, Kabupaten Bojonegoro, the ACWP (Actual Cost of Work Performed), BCWP (Budgeted Cost of Work Performed), and BCWS (Budgeted Cost of Scheduled) values were obtained. The CV value obtained <0 in weeks 1 to 7 indicates that the costs incurred were greater than the plan, but in weeks 8 to 15 the CV value >0 means that in that week the costs incurred were less than the plan. Meanwhile, meaning the project is experiencing a delay from plan. The estimated of the completion budget requirement obtained from the ETC (Estimate to Compile) value is Rp. 3,345,105,521.28, while the estimated final total project cost obtained from the EAC (Estimate at Complete) value is Rp. 5,680,868,593.22.
