Keribang tubers are a prospective local food and can be used as food for claims and food diversification. Anthocyanins from keribang tubers can be processed into food products, one of them is made into jam. Jam is a food product with a gel consistency, therefore a thickening agent such as Carboxyl Methyl Cellulose (CMC) is needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding CMC and heating time as well as the best combination to the physicochemical characteristics of keribang tuber jam. This research design used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two treatment factors, consisting of 3 treatments of CMC (0.5%; 0.75%; and 1%) and 2 treatments of heating time (15 minutes and 20 minutes), with 4 replications. Parameters observed were water content, total polyphenols, total dissolved solids, antioxidant activity, smearing power, and organoleptic tests. The best treatment was tested using the effectiveness index test. The results showed that CMC concentration treatment and heating time did not significantly affect the water content, total dissolved solids content, antioxidant activity, and spread ability, but significant on the total polyphenol content value in keribang tubers jam. The organoleptic test showed that the panelists preferred the keribang tubers jam with a CMC concentration of 0.5% and a heating time of 15 minutes in terms of color and texture. Based on the effectiveness index test, the best treatment for keribang tubers jam was 1% CMC concentration and 20 minutes of heating time

Central obesity is a condition of excess fat accumulation in the abdomen. Lifestyle factors such as consuming high-fat foods, low fiber intake, and low physical activity can contribute to central obesity. The objective of this study is to investigate the prevalence of obesity, dietary habits, and body image perception in college students at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. This quantitative study was conducted using a cross-sectional design in the Nutrition Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, UNTIRTA, in November 2022.The population of the study was students of the Nutrition Study Program, batch 2020-2022, with a total of 121 students. A sample of 80 students was selected using a total sampling method. The results of the study showed that central obesity in college students was mostly caused by unhealthy lifestyle factors, such as not following a healthy lifestyle, unhealthy eating patterns, and low physical activity. Of the respondents, 67 (80.72%) did not follow a healthy lifestyle, while 13 (15.66%) followed a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet. Most respondents (66.27%) had the habit of consuming fast food, with a frequency of consumption of 3 times per week in 24.1% of cases. The majority of respondents (63.86%) did not have the habit of exercising. These findings suggest that unhealthy lifestyle factors are major contributors to central obesity in college students of nutrition at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University.

Anemia in pregnant women is one of the most common public health emergencies, especially in low- and middle-income countries, such as Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of SEKAR (Sumber Edukasi Anemia yang Relevan) card-based nutrition education on knowledge and iron intake in pregnant women at the Mangkupalas Samarinda Health Center. The type of research used is an experimental study with a pre-test and post-test research design with the control group. A total of 36 pregnant women were taken into samples divided into 2 groups, namely 18 interventions and 18 controls based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Nutrition education variables were obtained using SEKAR cards and leaflets containing information about anemia. The knowledge was obtained using a structured questionnaire that had been validated and a pregnant woman's iron intake was obtained using a 24-hour in-depth food recall interview. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. Results show that the effect of nutrition education using SEKAR on the knowledge of pregnant women (p = 0.003), and iron intake (p = 0.031). Leaflet media did not affect knowledge (p = 0.072) and iron intake (p = 0.078). There was a significant difference between SEKAR cards and leaflets on knowledge improvement (p = 0.001) and there was no significant difference between the use of SEKAR card media and leaflets on iron intake (p = 0.516). Stunting is still a global health emergency, and this is a burden for developing countries including Indonesia. Based on the report, Indonesia is the country with the 5th largest contributor to stunting worldwide. The empowerment of cadres is considered very helpful in monitoring children's growth and development. This study aims to determine the training of cadres on knowledge and skills in monitoring the growth of toddlers in the working area of the Samarinda City Health Centre. The research is a quasi-experimental design conducted in July – August 2023 in the working area of the Samarinda City Health Center, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. A total of 66 cadres were involved as respondents by setting inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data was then collected and analyzed with the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. Results show that there is an effect of training using modules on cadre knowledge (p = 0.000), there is an effect of training using videos on cadre knowledge (p = 0.000), there is an effect of training using modules on cadre skills (p = 0.000), and there is an effect of training using videos on cadre skills (p = 0.000). There is a difference. These results show that module media is more effectively used in training than video. Both forms of training exert the same effect. However, module-based training is more effective than video, this is because module media builds interaction among cadres

The Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method is a survey method that can be used to measure the satisfaction performance that is considered important by customers (expectations) and the satisfaction performance received by customers (reality). This research aims to determine the level of compatibility between performance and expectations of satisfaction towards the quality of service at the Biromaru Public Health Center in Sigi Regency. This type of research was quantitative with descriptive analysis techniques; the sample size used the Slovin formula, while the sampling used accidental sampling techniques. The total sample was 99 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and then analyzed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. Results show that The Biromaru Public Health Center has met patient expectations in terms of the friendliness and politeness of health workers, the cleanliness of examination rooms, and the timeliness of doctor examinations. However, there are several areas where the health center can improve, such as the cleanliness and maintenance of the building, the waiting time for medicines, and the availability of sophisticated and adequate health facilities. The attributes that patients consider less important, but are still implemented well, include the appearance of health workers, the clarity of drug dosage information, and the good communication of nurses. The Bureaumaru Health Center has met patient expectations in terms of the courtesy and politeness of health workers, the cleanliness of the examination room, and the timeliness of doctor's examinations.

The earthquake disaster in Palu in 2018, followed by the pandemic in 2020, caused mobility to be hampered and affected people's habits and lifestyles, who mostly stayed at home and had no activities. This also affected pregnant women who just stayed at home because they were afraid. The impact of the pandemic will result in less physical activity and less interaction with health workers, causing pregnant women to experience macrosomia. This research aims to determine the risk factors for postpartum hemorrhage at Anutapura Public Hospital in Palu. This research was an analytic observational with a case-control approach. Case subjects were mothers who experienced postpartum hemorrhage, and controls were mothers who did not experience postpartum hemorrhage. Case samples were 67 people, and controls were 67 people with age matching. A simple random sampling technique was carried out for sampling. The data source used secondary data, medical records for 2019-2021. Data analysis used the odds ratio test. The results showed that macrosomia (OR=4.543 and CI=1.421-14.528), prolonged labor (OR=3.674 and CI=1.720-7.850), and parity (OR=2.452 and CI=1.199-5.014) a risk factor for postpartum hemorrhage. Postpartum hemorrhage is significantly associated with low-risk macrosomia, low-risk parity, and safe parity
