Abstract

Evaluation on the service quality and trust can develop positive perceptions in an effort to provide students’ satisfaction. The purposes of this study are to find out and analyze the effect of service quality on students’ trust, knowing and analyze the effect of trust on students’ satisfaction and analyze the indirect effect of service quality on students’ satisfaction through trust as an intervening variable. With a purposive sampling technique, there are 150 people sampled as respondents. The analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is Structural Equation Modelling. The results showed that service quality has significant effect on students’ trust. The trust has significant effect on the level of students’ satisfaction, but there is no indirect effect of the service quality on students’ satisfaction through students’ trust in the Economics Faculty of the Islamic Kalimantan University.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and to analyze the effects of compensation (X1), communication (X2), and job satisfaction (X3) simultaneously and partially on the employees’ performance (Y) of KPPN Banjamasin. This research is explanatory research. The samples in this study used saturated sample including 30 respondents who are implementing the overall employee population of KPPN Banjarmasin. To determine the influence of variables X1, X2, X3 to Y, statistical techniques were used; and multiple linear regression analysis was used to examine the effects of simultaneous significance level using the F test; and t test was used to test the level of significance partially. The data was processed using IBM SPSS version 21 program. The results showed that the variable compensation, communication and job satisfaction simultaneously and partially gave positive effects on the employee’s performance. Among the three independent variables, the highest percentage of 8.2% was communication (X1) compared to the two other variables. This was due to that the employees were basically unable to perform anything in general. Communication is needed in driving a broad strategy direction, including the compensation system and policies of implementing job satisfaction needed to be described into performance expectation, so that it will give positive effects on an employee’s performance.

Abstract

Stocks traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in addition to conventional stocks also have sharia shares, sharia shares are shares traded on the capital market and do not conflict with Islamic law, the purpose of this study is to know and analyze the effects of investment gallery activities, Minimum investment capital, risk perceptions and perceptions of return in sharia investments among Uniska MAB Banjarmasin students. The population in this study were Uniska MAB Banjarmasin students with a sample of 137 respondents. Sampling using a purposive sampling method, and the number of samples based on Slovin formula. Data collection uses a questionnaire, then do data editing. Data analysis techniques using SEM (Structural Equation Model) analysis using IBM AMOS version 22 software, so that the model that will explain the relationship between variables to explain the interest in investing in sharia stocks. The results of this study are: (1) The variable of investment gallery activities have a significant effect on students' interest in investing in Islamic stocks. (2) Perception of return does not have a significant effect on the interest of students to invest in Islamic stocks. (3) Risk perception has no significant effect on the interest of students to invest in sharia. (4) Minimum investment capital has a significant effect on students' interest in investing in sharia.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of speculative risk (X1), operational risks (X2), and the volume of sales (X3) simultaneously and partially toward the Company's financial performance: profit margin (Y1) and return on assets (Y2). The type of this study was causality research. This study used saturated sampling such as historical data of sales volume, the Newcastle index, and the record of operational risks that occurred during the period of April 2011 until December 2013. The correlation between the variables X1, X2, X3 toward Y1 and Y2 were dertermined using multiple linear regression correlation techniques and to determine the level of significance using hypothesis test such as coefficient determination test, F test and t test which processed by SPSS program series 21. The results of this study concluded that three independent variables affect toward the dependent variable simultaneously and partially there were negative influence of operational risk (X2) toward profit margin (Y1) and ROA (Y2), while sales volume (X3) effect positively towards profit margin (Y1) and ROA (Y2).

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Kaizen which consist of seiri (X1), seiton (X2), seiso (X3), seiketsu (X4) dan shitsuke (X5) as independent variables to employee performance (Y) as dependent variable in External Relations Division at PT Adaro Indonesia. The method of this research used questionnaire with 83 employees of External Relations Division at PT Adaro Indonesia as a sample. The variables measurement uses Likert’s Scale technique with weighting scale from 1 to 5. To find out the correlation among variables X1, X2, X3, X4 and X5 towards Y uses statistical technique of correlation analysis, multiple linear regression and to test the significance rate uses F test and t test processed with SPSS program. In the findings of this present research shows that seiri (X1) and shitsuke (X5) as Kaizen were found to have a positive significant relationship with the employees’ performance. While seiton (X2), seiso (X3) and seiketsu (X4) have no significant relationship with the employees’ performance.

Abstract

Good corporate financial performance is an important aspect that provides an overview of the financial health conditions of the company and management and investors can find out whether or not the company's health conditions are good. The company's financial performance can be known by using financial ratio analysis, including liquidity ratios, activity, solvency, profitability and market ratios. Based on the description above it is very interesting to examine the influence of the level of liquidity, activity and solvency in predicting corporate profits. The main objective of this research is to examine 3 financial ratios, namely liquidity ratios, activity ratios and solvency ratios to corporate profits. The sample of this study were 5 cosmetic industry companies with panel data from 2011 to 2017. The method used was quantitative research method based on secondary data in the form of annual financial reports on cosmetics and household goods manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange Indonesia.

Abstract

Based on No. Perkap. 22 of 2010 about duties and functions of Ditresnarkoba is to conduct investigations and investigating drug crime. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence between job demand on the performance of Police members in Police Directorate of Drugs Investigator South Kalimantan Work Unit with burnout and stress variables as mediation variable This research method used questionnaires distributed to 57 police members who work on Ditresnarkoba South Kalimantan Police Department with 54 respondents from operational members and 3 respondents from the head of sub directorate. Measurement of this research using Likert scale with weight scale from 1 to 5 and data analysis technique using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results showed that job demand (X1) to stress (Z1) did not affect t-statistic value <t value (1,379 <1,96), job demand (X1) on burnout (Z2) did not affect t-statistic < t value (0,712 <1,96), job demand (X1) on performance (Y) have significant effect with t-statistic value> t value (4,143> 1,96), stress (Z1) on performance (Y) has no effect the value of t-statistic <t value (0,479 <1,96), burnout (Z2) on performance (Y) has no effect on t-statistic value <t value (0,254 <1,96), stress (Z1) to burnout (Z2 ) effect with t-statistic value> t value (16,024> 1,96).
