Abstract

The Problems About KV Selector Control Analysis on X-Ray Medonica Brands are to find out how the influence of KV on X-Ray planes on Image Quality in KV measurements varies at 50KV, 60KV, and 70KV with 100 mA, and 0.20 s (20 mAs), on FFD 100 cm to the same object that was done in the Radiology Room of the Medan Adventist Hospital.Writing this scientific paper using qualitative descriptive research methods by measuring, collecting data directly on the Medonica brand X-ray machine and comparing the results of good photo films to diagnose patients.Exposure is carried out using a focal height to film (FFD) of 100 cm, 100 mA, 0.20 s. By using a KV variation, the field area is adjusted to the collimator lamp as a good indicator of the irradiation field.From the results that will be obtained later will be obtained a comparison between the 3 (three) CV parameters tested and will get good imaging results and will then be continued in the diagnosis of patients.

Abstract

Medical devices are devices that are always in a ready to use condition and can function properly. This requires the Sari Mutiara University Integrated Laboratory to assist and medical equipment as effectively and efficiently as possible. This study aims to look at the Infant warmer monitoring system in the USM-Indonesia Integrated Lab.This research is a descriptive analysis with qualitative methods. Theinstrument used is by conducting in-depth interviews, observation and documents.The results of this study indicate that in its implementation, the maintenance system cannot be run properly, due to limited technical personnel, lack of training, insufficient maintenance costs, maintenance SOPs are not in accordance with procedures. Planning, organizing, and monitoring are not well implemented so that the preventive and corrective maintenance systems cannot run properly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of the tensimeter maintenance system at the Simpang Dolok Health Center Laboratory. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data was collected through tensimeter maintenance techniques. So that the Simpang Dolok Community Health Center performs routine cleaning and maintenance of the tensimeter in order to make the tensimeter last longer during its serviceable period. It is recommended that the head of the Simpang Dolok Health Center Laboratory room pay attention to the equipment maintenance system.

Abstract

The purpose of designing this tool is to develop a thermometer that still uses mercury to become a non-contact thermometer using infrared. To use this tool, just turn on the tool and then the infrared sensor is shot at the head of the patient you want to check and the results come out on the display.The method used in this research is experimental by doing system design, testing tools and drawing conclusions. but before doing the design, first prepare a good design of the workpiece in order to get satisfactory results.The results of the measurement on this tool aims to determine the temperature of the human body that we want to check, the test is carried out 6 times, in normal patients the temperature is 36.21 and 36.23, in patients with fever the resulting temperature is 38.14 and 37.18, in patients with hyportemia, temperatures were 35.40 and 35.55.

Abstract

CPAP is an electromedical device used to provide breathing aids. Especially in babies who have difficulty breathing or have sleep apnea. The aim of this research is to study the calibration techniques and uncertainty calculations on the CPAP tool. The results obtained from the calibration and calculations to find out the average value, so that these results are stated that the CPAP is fit for use.

Abstract

The purpose of designing this tool is to develop a water bath device beforehand so that it can be controlled from the display when it is set using an ATMEGA 328 microcontroller equipped with a temperature sensor and to carry out testing and measuring tools, with temperature selection from 30 C to 90 C, at Previous research was only able to adjust the temperature from 37 C to 60 C and this tool is also more flexible, the temperature sensor in this water bath tool uses the DS18B20 sensor which functions to find out the temperature in this tool. The desired temperature and timer will then be visible on the LCD display then the buzer will sound to indicate the process is complete.The method used in this research is experimentation with system design, tool testing and conclusion drawing. but before doing the design, the timer test is measured 6 times using a stopwatch at a temperature of 50 C and gets an average time of 305 results. 605, and 905 seconds and temperature testing was measured 6 times using a comparison of the thermometer temperature at 5 minutes and the average temperature results were 35.11 C, 45.11 C, 55.11 C, and 65.11 C , Based on data collection that has been done using a stopwatch and thermometer comparison, this water bath device can produce the desired temperature. The ability of this tool can withstand a maximum temperature of 90 C.

Abstract

Phototherapy equipment is one type of physiotherapy equipment that is used to treat patients with Neonatal Jaundice. This tool works like an incandescent lamp in general, transmitting blue light directly to the baby's body which will then help reduce the amount of bilirubin that has accumulated in the baby's skin layer. born. This situation is experienced by many babies born prematurely and also babies who are breastfed late. Hyperbilirubinemia can be easily treated by the aforementioned light therapy. The light given by the tool is one type of light that is harmful to vision, so that in the process of irradiating the baby, an eye patch will be worn to protect the retina of the eye which is still in the process of being perfected. In the process, the author added a light reading feature/ photometer to measure the amount of light produced by the phototherapy device. The photometer is made by utilizing the BH1750 sensor with the function of reading light rays (any) in lux units, so that users can easily find out how many doses of light are produced in the therapy process.The measurement results from the photometer are displayed on the LCD, with the measurement of the light value in lux units of 266.67 Lux. The measurement results are stable with the irradiation distance between the lamp and the location of the sensor as much as 30 cm.

Abstract

Research on the effect of suction power on the YB-DX23B smaf suction pump has been carried out.The method used in this research is quantitative experiment by measuring, testing and collecting data directly on the suction pump. The measuring instrument used is Vacum Gauge Meter. By using water as an object to replace blood and with a predetermined 10 second timer set, set the volume to adjust the volume of water you want and set the regulator to adjust how much suction power is needed.This research was conducted at the Electronics Laboratory of Sari Mutiara University- Indonesia. The results of this research are when the regulator is set at parameter -100 mmHg, the output on the vacuum gauge meter becomes -10 cmHg and the liquid is inhaled as much as 700 ml, when the regulator is set at parameter -200 mmHg, the output on the vacuum gauge meter becomes -20 cmHg and the liquid is inhaled as much as 1000 ml, when the regulator is set at the parameter -300 mmHg, the output on the vacuum gauge meter becomes -30cmHg and the liquid sucked is 1300 ml, and the regulator is set to the parameter -400 mmHg and the output on the vacuum gauge meter becomes -40 cmHg and the liquid is inhaled as much as 1500 ml.Measurements using a vacum gauge on the suction pump according to the settings set by the user. The greater the vacuum power, the faster the process of suctioning thevolume of liquid in.

Abstract

Infant warmer is one of the electromedical devices used to provide comfort and warmth to newborns, where the baby needs a temperature that is in accordance with the temperature in the mother's womb, which is between 34oC – 37oC. The purpose of this research is to study the Calibration technique and the calculation of the uncertainty of temperature measurement data.The results obtained from the calibration and calculations are ± 0,54oC for temperature. From these results, it was stated that the infant warmer was declared fit for use. As a rule, the test pass threshold value is ± 2 oC for temperature.
