Abstract

Background: Based on the results of observations carried out on August 18, 2021 at 5 restaurants in Gubug District, the results were only one restaurant whose workers wore masks. Four restaurants have hand washing facilities. Five restaurants do not apply temperature checks. One restaurant that implements social distancing and disinfects. Methods: This type of research is Analytical Observation with a Cross Sectional design. The sampling technique is the total sampling technique. The total sample is 44 restaurant respondents. Research instruments in the form of questionnaires and observation sheets. Data were analyzed using Fisher's test. Results: Shows that there is a relationship between worker hygiene (p = 0.027), hand washing facilities (p = 0.001), and disinfection (p = 0.018) with the level of compliance with COVID-19 health protocols at restaurants in Gubug District, Grobogan Regency. There is no relationship between knowledge of business actors (p=0.456), knowledge of workers (p=1,000), temperature checks (p=0.075), and social distancing (p=0.083) with the level of compliance with COVID-19 health protocols at restaurants in the sub-district Gubug Grobogan Regency. Conclusion: The description of compliance with the COVID-19 health protocol in restaurants is mostly in accordance with applicable guidelines.

Abstract

Background: WHO has declared a global emergency due to the outbreak of COVID-19 since January 2020. Traditional markets are a category of places that are vulnerable to transmission because market conditions are public facilities and many people are active in these locations. The purpose of this study is to determine factors related to the implementation of health protocols - 19 on traders in Traditional Markets. Methods: This type of research is quantitative analytic with a cross sectional design, with the research subject being traditional market traders. The sampling technique applied was proportional random sampling. The research instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaire sheets and cameras. Bivariate data analysis using chi square statistical test. Result: The results showed that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge of the COVID-19 Health Protocol p-value 0.031, the attitude level of the COVID-19 Health Protocol p-value 0.037, the personal hygiene level of traders p-value 0.001 with compliance with the implementation of the COVID-19 Health Protocol. Conclusion: The need to complete sanitation facilities, especially hand washing facilities. More actively socializing health protocols, routine inspections related to sanitation, and conducting indirect counseling methods through social media and print media.

Abstract

Background: Toddler period experiences a process of rapid growth and increased nutritional needs, so mothers of toddlers are advised to visit Posyandu (Integrated Healthcare Center) to check the growth and development of toddlers, in order to anticipate if there are developmental disorders of toddlers that are not according to their age. North Rejowinangun Village experienced a decrease in the percentage of children under five compared to every year, in 2020 the achievement of toddlers was calculated to be 40.62% and in 2021 it was 22.53%. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the visit of mothers of children under five to the posyandu. Methods: This study used an analytic observational type with a cross sectional design. The number of samples was 91 respondents, the sampling technique used two stage cluster sampling and the data were analyzed by Chi Square test. Results: statistical tests showed that the variables were age (p = 0.096), education level (p = 0.0001), occupation (p = 0.041), knowledge (p = 0.0001), distance traveled (p = 0.0001), family support (p = 0.0001) and the role of cadres (p = 0.0001). Conclusion: there is a relationship between education level, level of knowledge, occupation, distance traveled, family support and the role of cadres with maternal visits to posyandu. There is no relationship between age and mother's visit to posyandu.

Abstract

Background: The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia is a health problem that has not yet ended. Covid-19 cases in Indonesia on 31 May 2022 were 6.054.973 cases. Indonesia ministry of Health informed that SARS-CoV-2 continues to mutate to form new variants. Therefore, efforts are needed to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 through the implementation of the Covid-19 health protocol. The purpose of this studi was to determine the factors related to community adherence in implementing the Covid-19 health protocol in the Karangsari Healthcare Center, Cirebon Regency. Method: This type of research uses an analytical survey with a cross sectional design. The research sampel is 99 respondents, with cluster sampling technique. The instrument used a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by chi square test and logostic regression. Results: The result show that knowledge (P=0,009, RP=1,470) and attitude (P=0,003, RP=1,564) are related to community adherence in implementing the Covid-19 health protocol in the Karangsari Healthcare Center, Cirebon Regency. Conclusion: There is a significant related between knowledge and attitude with adherence in implementing the Covid-19 health protocol. Attitude is the factors that most influence the adherence in implementing the Covid-19 health protocol in the Karangsari Healthcare Center, Cirebon Regency.

Abstract

Background: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is occupational diseases caused by repetitive movements that are carried out monotonously and continuously for a long time. Repetitive movements that are carried out for a long time can cause the median nerve at the wrist to be pinched or compressed. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between repetitive movements and duration of action with symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome.Methodes: This type of research is quantitative research using cross sectional method and using total sampling in which the entire population is used as a research sample with a total of 62 samples. The instruments used are data questionnaires, Data analysis was carried out using Chi Square test with SPSS version 22.0.Results: The data from this study indicate that there is a relationship between repetitive movements and symptoms of CTS (p = 0.000). This study also showed that there was a relationship between length of work and symptoms of CTS (p = 0.001).Conclusion: The conclusion is that there is a relationship between repetitive movements and length of work with symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome in informal sector workers managing marine products (fish, crab and shellfish) in the Citemu Trade Business.

Abstract

Background: This has become one of the focuses of health problems for health workers and the community considering that the Kedewan sub-district is the westernmost region of the Bojonegoro district which still has difficulty accessing and mobilizing. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between environmental sanitation and a history of pneumonia and its contribution to the incidence of stunting. Methods: This type of research is analytic observational with a case control research design. The sample required is a sample of 22 cases and 22 controls.The instruments used are stunting data for the period February-August 2021 at the Kedewan Health Center, questionnaires, and stadiometers. Data analysis was carried out using the Chi-Square test. Results:Tthere was a relationship between latrine ownership and a history of pneumonia in children under five (p-value=0.048), there was a relationship between a history of pneumonia and the incidence of stunting (p-value=0.002). Variables that were not associated with a history of pneumonia were the provision of clean water (p-value=0,632), the condition of the floor of the house (p-value=0,691), and the disposal of garbage (p-value=0,632). Conclusion: The need for increased intervention and monitoring of environmental sanitation from the collaboration of the village government and health centers.

Abstract

Background: Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 which was discovered in Wuhan, China in 2019. Food handlers must meet personal hygiene requirements (Kepmenkes No. 1098/Menkes/SK/VIII/2003). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the personal hygiene compliance of food handlers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: Analytical descriptive research with cross sectional design. A sample of 80 handlers. The dependent variable: personal hygiene compliance, and the independent variables: age, gender, education level, length of work, knowledge, attitudes, behavior, hand washing facilities, monitoring market officers, and market information media. The instruments used were questionnaires and observation sheets. The sampling technique is proportional random sampling. Results: the results of the Chi-Square Test analysis showed age (p=0.109), gender (p=1,000), years of work (p=1,000), education level (p=0.017), knowledge (p=0.159), attitudes (p = 0.014), action (p = 0.004), hand washing facilities (p = 1,000), monitoring of market officers (p = 0.106), market information media (p = 1,000). Conclusion: age, gender, length of work, knowledge, facilities hand washing, monitoring market officers and market information media are not related to personal hygiene compliance. The level of education, attitudes and actions have a relationship with personal hygiene compliance.

Abstract

Background: The prevalence of underweight adolescents according to Riskesdas 2018 is 16.8%, which means that it has not reached the target set by WHO, it is said to be normal if the prevalence is below 10%. The factor that causes the high prevalence of underweight in adolescents is an inappropriate diet. In adolescence, snack foods have a big contribution to the total daily caloric intake. This study aims to develop a snack bar product formula as a practical snack for energy content, proximate, and organoleptic quality. This study aims to develop a snack bar product formula as a practical snack for energy content, proximate, and organoleptic quality. Methods: The experimental research design with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was carried out in three stages, they are (1) making taro flour, mung bean flour, and cinnamon powder, and (2) making snack bars with a ratio of taro flour: mung bean flour 75%:25%(F1), 65%:35%(F2), 55%:45%(F3), cinnamon powder for the three formulations are 1%, (3) snack bar testing consists of nutritional, energy, and organoleptic content tests. The data were analyzed descriptively for nutrient and energy content and the Kruskal Wallis test followed by the Mann-Whitney test for organoleptic analysis. Results: The results of the highest energy content showed an average of 526.36 kcal/100 g, carbohydrates 58.775 g, fat 36.04 g, and protein 7.825 g. The result of the overall organoleptic test that the panelists most favored was F3 (55% taro flour: 45% mung bean flour). Conclusion: There were differences in the calorie, carbohydrate, protein, and fat content of the three formulations, and the overall organoleptic test results were favored by the panelists.

Abstract

Background: Based on COVID-19 data in Semarang City as of July 15, 2021, there were 2,048 confirmed positive cases and 5 positive cases were found in Sekaran Village. The purpose of the study was to describe the environmental health factors, knowledge and behavior of residents in preparedness for the COVID-19 pandemic in Sekaran Village, Semarang City. Methods: The type of research is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects were 100 residents of Sekaran Village. The variables included spraying disinfectants, habit of washing hands with soap (WHWS), knowledge, use of masks, WHWS facilities, physical distancing and the habit of disposing of garbage. Instruments in the form of questionnaires and checklist sheets. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed using univariate test. Results: Results: Shows that the details of the level of community preparedness in facing a pandemic in the form of spraying disinfectants (20%), WHWS facilities (75%), knowledge (11%), use of masks (28%), WHWS habits (49%), physical distancing (64%), habit of throwing garbage (70%). Conclusion: The level of community preparedness is categorized as not ready, of 7 variables, there were 5 variables that were not ready, namely spraying disinfectants, knowledge, using masks, maintaining physical distance, and WHWS habits.

Abstract

Background: Ambarawa Regency is one of the highest contributors to positive Covid-19 cases in Semarang Regency. As many as 2862 COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ambarawa, of which 164 people died. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between clean and healthy behavior (CHB) with cases of COVID-19 in people of productive age. Methods: This research is an observational study with a case control approach. The sample in this study amounted to 130 people consisting of 65 people in the case group and 65 people in the control group. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The data were processed and analyzed using the chi square test. Results: The results showed that CHB factors associated with Covid-19 were washing hands with soap (p = 0.023), use of hand sanitizers (p = 0.013) and smoking habits (p = 0.031). Meanwhile, the unrelated factor was house disinfection (p = 0.194) and the use of double masks (p = 0.054). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between washing hands with soap, use of hand sanitizers and smoking habits with the incidence of Covid-19.
