Abstract

Virtual tour is a technological innovation that provides an interactive experience in getting to know tourist destinations virtually. This study aims to implement a virtual tour in introducing Ibru-Q Village Agrotourism using 3d Vista. The potential of Agrotourism in Ibru-Q Village has great potential as a nature-based educational tourism destination. The methods used include data collection through field observations, interviews with managers, and visual documentation to build virtual tour content. The results of the study showed that the implementation of a virtual tour was able to increase tourist interest and provide more interesting and in-depth information about the potential of Ibru-Q Village Agrotourism, including plant diversity, agricultural methods, and the uniqueness of local culture. This virtual tour also facilitates the accessibility of information for prospective visitors who have not been able to visit the location in person. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of digital technology adoption on the business performance of startup companies in Indonesia. Using a random sampling method, five startups were selected as respondents, and data were collected through a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The validity test results show that all questionnaire items are valid, with the calculated r value greater than the r table value. The reliability test using Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient produces a value of 0.78, indicating that the research instrument is consistent and can be reused. Descriptive analysis reveals that the majority of startups operate in the fintech, edutech, and healthcare sectors, with most having utilized technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics. The findings indicate that digital technology adoption positively impacts business performance, especially in enhancing operational efficiency and expanding market reach. Startups that maximize the integration of digital platforms experience significant growth in terms of user numbers and revenue. However, challenges such as cyber security, the digital divide, and marketing competition remain major obstacles. This research also emphasizes the importance of government policies in supporting a conducive digital ecosystem so that startups can overcome these hurdles and continue to innovate. With the right strategies and optimal utilization of technology, startups in Indonesia have great potential to grow and contribute significantly to the national digital economy.

Abstract

This research explores the role of entrepreneurial innovation in supporting sustainable economic growth by using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The validity test results show that all 16 items have a correlation coefficient above 0.60, while the reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha yields a value of 0.9, indicating high consistency of the research instrument. Descriptive statistical analysis from 25 respondents shows a positive view towards innovation, with average responses ranging from 3.2 to 4.5 and a median of 4.0. This research also compares the results with three previous studies: by Fajri (2021), Bhegawati et al. (2022), and Santhi & Affandi (2020), which assert that entrepreneurial innovation not only contributes to improving the financial performance of SMEs but also serves as a driving force for economic growth through job creation and productivity enhancement. These findings highlight the importance of innovation in creating a sustainable and mutually beneficial entrepreneurial ecosystem. Therefore, focusing on innovation in entrepreneurship is essential to achieve sustainable economic growth, demonstrating a close relationship between innovation and its positive impact on the economy as a whole. This study provides important insights for SMEs and policymakers in developing strategies that support innovation for better economic growth.

Abstract

A 13-year-old male presented with abdominal pain, fever, and vomiting two weeks after open appendectomy for neglected appendicitis. Examination revealed peritonitis signs, including diffuse tenderness. Laboratory findings showed leukocytosis and elevated C-reactive protein (CRP), indicating inflammation. Abdominal X-rays suggested dynamic ileus, while contrast-enhanced CT revealed pelvic fluid collections, gas-forming abscesses, partial ileus, and pneumoperitoneum, consistent with peritonitis complications. Complications such as adhesive small bowel obstruction (SBO), abscess formation, and peritonitis can arise after appendectomy. Adhesions from surgery may cause partial ileus, obstructing bowel motility, while infection can lead to abscesses. Imaging, particularly contrast-enhanced CT, is vital for accurate diagnosis and intervention. Treatment involves surgical drainage of abscesses, adhesiolysis, and broad-spectrum antibiotics to control infection. In this case, timely surgical and medical management resulted in a successful outcome. Peritonitis following appendectomy for neglected appendicitis can result in partial obstructive ileus and abscess formation, underscoring the need for vigilance during postoperative follow-up. Early imaging and intervention are critical to prevent severe outcomes. Prompt surgical and medical treatment enables full recovery, emphasizing the importance of recognizing post-appendectomy complications.
