Abstract

The soil retaining wall is one of the reinforcements used to prevent landslides on the slope. Therefore, in planning, good analysis and calculation are needed to be able to bear the burden safely. At the research site, there is a slope of the plengsengan that has only been built for one month and has experienced a landslide. To prevent more severe landslides on this slope, it is necessary to design appropriate and effective slope reinforcement. The analysis of the use of the right type of reinforcement and its design will be carried out in this study in accordance with the requirements of SNI geotechnical 8640:2017. The results of the study show that gravity-type soil retaining walls are more suitable to be applied to strengthen the river slope. The design that has been designed has met several stability, namely safety against bollards (FK boling = 2.4), safety against shear (FK shear = 3.71), and safety against soil carrying capacity (FK carrying capacity = 7.54). The overall slope stability was carried out with the help of the Rocscience Slide program and obtained a slope stability safety factor value of 1.933.

Abstract

Domestic violence (DV) is a complex phenomenon that stems from various social, cultural and economic aspects. Domestic violence includes not only physical violence but also psychological, sexual, and economic violence, all of which have a significant impact on victims and their families. The Indonesian government has issued various regulations and laws to combat domestic violence, such as Law No. 23/2004 on the Elimination of Domestic Violence. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of legal policies to combat domestic violence (KDRT) in Indonesia as well as the role of protection organizations and law enforcement agencies in providing support to victims. Domestic violence is a serious problem that requires comprehensive and systematic treatment. This research uses qualitative methods with analysis of policy documents, annual reports and statistics on domestic violence cases. The research results show that although there are supportive policies, their implementation is still not optimal due to lack of coordination between institutions, lack of resources and sensitivity of the judicial apparatus to domestic violence issues. Protection agencies play an important role in assisting and assisting victims, but limited financial and human resources hamper the effectiveness of these agencies. The study recommends increased training for law enforcement officers, increased funding for protection agencies as well as public education campaigns to increase awareness and participation in managing family violence. Collaboration between the government, protection agencies, law enforcement and the community is very important in creating a more effective and fair system for dealing with family violence.

Abstract

The soil retaining wall is one of the reinforcements used to prevent landslides on the slope. Starting from the argument presented by Amina Wadud and Zaitunah Subhan, that one of the causes of gender bias is the dominance of men in an interpretation. So it can be assumed that the majority of male interpreters only make their experience as a single standard. However, this study shows that Muhammad Abduh's interpretation provides a balanced value in viewing gender relations verses. Thus, it comes to the argument that the social reality of society has a significant influence on a person in interpreting the Qur'an. The alarming political and societal situation encouraged Abduh to make a breakthrough and change in upholding justice. The times had a significant impact on the roles of women and men in the domestic and public spheres. This makes the interpretation of gender also undergo adjustments. This study will dissect Muhammad Abduh's thoughts on gender relations contained in his magnum opus, Tafsîr al-Manâr. The themes taken are: The Degree of Women, Women's Testimony, Polygamy, and Nusyûz Wife. In this research, the author applies a qualitative method with a pure literature study. Through analysis with adâbî ijtimâ'î theory, it can be concluded that Muhammad Abduh had a progressive view of women in Islam. He believed that women and men have equal value before God, with equal rights and obligations.

Abstract

This research discusses the necessity for legal reform in regulating abuse of circumstances within contract law in Indonesia, considering the existing legal vacuum that has the potential to cause uncertainty and injustice in transactions. By analyzing the provisions in the Civil Code (KUHPerdata) and comparing them with the laws of other countries, such as the Netherlands, this study identifies ambiguities and shortcomings in the regulations concerning defects of will, particularly related to abuse of circumstances. The findings indicate that legal uncertainty negatively impacts the bargaining position of the weaker party, creating risks of unfair practices in agreements. Therefore, this research recommends the recognition and clearer regulation of abuse of circumstances to enhance legal protection for vulnerable parties and promote the creation of a fairer and more transparent business environment in Indonesia.
