Abstract

Metal substrate is a medium that serves as a container for active catalyst materials. Catalysts in terms of exhaust gases are used to convert harmful pollutants in vehicle exhaust emissions, such as Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydrocarbons (HC), and Nitrogen Oxides (Nox) into non-hazardous substances such as Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Water (H2O), and Nitrogen (N2). In the face of global market share, the metal substrate industry faces significant challenges to meet the demand of domestic and international markets with always available stock and timely delivery. This study aims to analyze and optimize the quality control system and stock management at PT. XYZ. This journal conducted a study that the application of quality management standards, stock management standards, and delivery standards to ensure that products produced and received by customers are things that need to be considered as an effort to avoid market claims. The importance of implementing a standardized quality management system, improving quality inspections, optimizing technology-based inventory management, utilizing automation and digitalization, empowering employees, and focusing on customer satisfaction are among the company's strategies in meeting market demand and strengthening its competitive position in the dynamic global market era. In addition, continuous improvement and fixing system weaknesses are very supportive to achieve customer satisfaction. Researchers found that the FIFO method can be used as an alternative in stock management and storage without worrying about deterioration in the quality of the resulting product, given that the materials used are almost entirely metal.

Abstract

Poor air quality can cause various health problems, including respiratory problems, allergies, stress, and comfort. By testing air quality using physical parameters such as temperature, humidity, and light intensity, this research can help optimize indoor air quality. This study aims to determine air quality based on physical parameter tests in classrooms at the Malalayang Campus, Faculty of Medicine, Sam Ratulangi University. This research method is observational and descriptive. Descriptive research to get an idea of temperature, humidity, and light intensity directly in the room of the Faculty of Medicine, Sam Ratulangi University using tools such as thermohygrometer and luxmeter. The results of this study compare measurements in 3 conditions, namely before class, during class and after class. It was found that the temperature and humidity were relatively increasing, and the lighting decreased in the temporary conditions of the classroom which had an impact on the comfort of students during learning activities. This study concluded that the physical quality of the air with variables of temperature, humidity, and lighting in the room of the Malalayang Campus, Faculty of Medicine, Sam Ratulangi University is not in accordance with the standards set by the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 2023 concerning the Implementation Regulation of Government Regulation Number 66 of 2014 concerning Environmental Health.

Abstract

Nurse career development, particularly in the transition from clinical to managerial roles, requires effective competency assessments and performance assessments. This study aims to analyze the relationship between competency assessment and performance assessment in supporting nurse career development. The method used is a literature review using the PICOS framework. Of the 242 articles found, 20 articles were selected for analysis. The results show that competency assessment can improve the quality of nursing services, while professional indicator-based performance assessment helps identify the strengths and weaknesses of nurses. This research also highlights the importance of managerial competence, leadership, and informatics in supporting nurses' career development. In conclusion, the integration of competency assessment and performance assessment is an effective strategy to improve nurse competence and health service quality. This research makes an important contribution to the development of nursing science and practical recommendations for hospital management, nursing education institutions, and policymakers to design integrated professional development programs.

Abstract

Accumulation of visceral fat can become a health issue for instance central obesity. Globally, it has reached milestone of >890 million cases and is expected to continue increasing. Meanwhile, physical activity is considered to have a significant impact on body weight, especially during adolescence. With technological and transportation advancements, people tend to engage in less physical activity and adopt a sedentary lifestyle. As proven by Indonesia Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2018 there are 50,4% of adolescents aged 15-19 years out of 67.140 study participants were categorized with low physical activity levels. This study aimed to determine a relationship between physical activity level and visceral fat thickness in adolescents. This study used analytic observational study with cross-sectional approach. Data collection was conducted through primary means using questionnaire for physical activity and ultrasonography (USG) for visceral fat thickness. Samples were selected with purposive sampling, with 87 respondents matching the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Based on collected data, the level of physical activity among respondents was predominantly in heavy category, with 54 participants (62,1%). The mean value of visceral fat thickness was (6.52 ± 2.27). Statistical analysis showed a p-value = 0,335 (p> 0,05) and r = -0,105 using Pearson’s correlation test. There is no significant relationship between physical activity level and visceral fat thickness in adolescents.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and digitalization, communication strategy has an important role in establishing relationships between organizations and stakeholders. In the K-Pop-themed event industry, success is not only determined by the attractiveness of the event, but also the ability of the organizers to establish strategic cooperation with sponsors. This study aims to analyze the lobbying and negotiation strategies applied to the P-LAND: K-Pop Art Market event, using Robert Cialdini's six principles of persuasion: reciprocation, commitment dan consistency, social proof, liking, authority, and scarcity. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of the study show the application of persuasion principles that support the success of lobbying and negotiation strategies. The principle of reciprocity is applied through exclusivity to sponsors such as promotional booths and content collaboration. Commitment and consistency are realized by maintaining consistent communication and fulfilling agreements. Social proof is reinforced by showcasing the success of previous events. The authority principle relies on the role of the project manager in negotiations, while the preference principle builds positive personal relationships. The principle of scarcity is utilized by emphasizing the exclusivity of cooperation. This research fills in the gap in the study of the application of the principle of persuasion in K-Pop-themed events in Indonesia. Theoretically, this study enriches communication strategies in Public Relations, while in practice, it provides guidance to improve the effectiveness of lobbying and negotiations with sponsors in the event industry.

Abstract

Low personal hygiene during menstruation in adolescent girls can cause various This guidebook is designed to help the people of Pematang Gajah Village in managing websites and virtual tours as a medium for promoting agro-tourism and MSMEs in the village. The use of information and communication technology, especially websites and virtual tours, is important to introduce local potential to a wider audience. This guidebook aims to provide technical instructions for the use of the Pematang Gajah Village website and the management of virtual tours that can increase the attractiveness of the village as a tourist destination. Through a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the book consists of various important sections, including an explanation of the website's features and a virtual tour. This book is expected to increase public understanding of the use of digital technology, simplify the promotion process, and encourage the improvement of digital skills that can contribute to economic development and tourism in Pematang Gajah Village.

Abstract

Weight training have become a sports of choice among people to improve physical fitness and strength. Muscle endurance is named as one of the factors that may effect weight training performance and fitness development. Isotonic drinks were formulated to have similar osmolality as the fluids in human body (275-330 mOsm/L) to help the nutrients to be absorbed in a small amount of time. Isotonik drinks may potentially improve muscle endurance with its carbohydrates and electrolytes content to replace the energy and electrolytes loss during intense weight training. This study aim to understand the effect of isotonic drinks consumption on muscle endurance during weight training. This was an experimental study using pre-test and post-test with control group design to analyze the difference of muscle endurance before and after isotonic drinks consumption during weight training. The data was analyzed using t-paired test. The result showed that there is a significant improvement in muscle endurance numbers upon group that was given isotonic drinks with value of significancy < 0,001 (p < 0,05). This study concludes that there there is an effect of isotonic drinks consumption on muscle endurance during weight training.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and responsibility of the principal of SMK Islam Cipasung in improving the quality of students' morals. The problems faced in the world of education today include the moral degradation and morals of students which require more attention from the leaders of educational institutions. This research is focused on three problem formulations: (1) What are the roles and responsibilities of school principals towards students? (2) How to improve the quality of students' morals at Cipasung Islamic Vocational School? and (3) What is the relationship between the role and responsibility of the principal in improving the quality of students' morals? Through a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, this study explores the views and practices of the principal of SMK Islam Cipasung in moral development. The results of the study show that the role of the principal is very influential on the formation of character and morality of students. The principal is not only responsible as an administrative manager, but also as a spiritual leader who creates an Islamic environment and encourages the integration of moral values in the curriculum. Thus, the role and responsibility of the principal of SMK Islam Cipasung is directly correlated with improving the quality of students' morals.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing a clinical supervision program to improve the quality of nursing care and nurse performance using the systematic literature review (SLR) method. Clinical supervision programs are considered as one intervention that has the potential to improve the quality of health services, especially in the nursing context. In this research, various relevant articles and research related to the application of clinical supervision in various hospital settings and health facilities were analyzed to identify their impact on increasing nurse competency and the quality of care provided to patients. Based on the results of the analysis of 10 articles that met the inclusion criteria, it was found that the implementation of structured clinical supervision can improve nurses' technical skills, interpersonal communication and patient satisfaction, which in turn improves the quality of nursing care. Apart from that, clinical supervision has also been proven to contribute to increasing nurses' motivation and performance in carrying out their professional duties. The results of this research suggest that clinical supervision programs should be integrated more intensively in the professional development of nurses, with an emphasis on practical learning aspects and ongoing emotional support.

Abstract

Crime on the streets has become a social phenomenon that is increasingly troubling the community in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Many of the perpetrators came from underage students. Klitih, which originates from various environmental influences and adolescent social behavior, has resulted in serious injuries to death. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the National Police in handling street crimes involving children in the jurisdiction of the Special Region of Yogyakarta Police. This study uses empirical research. The data collection technique was an interview with members of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The data analysis used in this study is a descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The results of this study show that the role of the National Police is very important in dealing with street crime through pre-emptive, preventive, and repressive efforts. Pre-emptive efforts are carried out through sambaing activities, coaching and distribution, character development, coaching profiling, and coordination with related agencies. Preventive efforts by carrying out patrols and forming a special team to handle street violence crimes. Repressive efforts are carried out by investigative actions, cooperation with other police stations, pursuits and arrests, and examinations. The factors that affect street crime are internal factors and external factors.
