Tujuan dari Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya adalah untuk mendorong penyebaran yang lebih luas hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah sistematis di bidang manajemen dan bisnis. Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya dimaksudkan untuk menjadi jurnal penerbitan artikel hasil penelitian manajemen baik artikel penelitian maupun artikel konseptual (non penelitian). Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya mengundang artikel-artikel hasil penelitian di bidang : Manajemen Pemasaran, Manajemen Keuangan, Manajemen Strategis, Manajemen Pendidikan, Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia, Manajemen Operasional, Manajemen Kesehatan, e-Business Manajemen Kewirausahaan. Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya menerima artikel-artikel yang sesuai dengan subjek penelitian manajemen dan metodologi penelitian yang sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan untuk dipublikasikan dalam jurnal ini. Yang utama, namun tidak eksklusif, adalah akademisi, mahasiswa program pascasarjana, praktisi dan pihak-pihak lain yang tertarik dengan penelitian manajemen. Kriteria utama untuk publikasi di Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra adalah pentingnya kontribusi sebuah artikel terhadap kekayaan literatur di bidang manajemen, ketelitian analisis dan penyajian artikel. Keputusan penerimaan artikel didasarkan pada proses review yang independen dengan evaluasi konstruktif dan cepat terhadap artikel yang diajukan oleh peneliti atau author. Frekuensi Publikasi Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya terbit dengan setiap tahun satu volume yang terdiri dari tiga kali terbitan, yakni setiap April, Agustus, dan Desember. Setiap terbitan mempublikasikan 7 artikel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Kompetensi Pedagogik dan Disiplin Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru Melalui Komitmen Kerja sebagai Variabel Intervening pada Guru Kompleks GIKI 3 Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan sensus yang melibatkan sebanyak 43 guru. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis Patch dengan alat komputasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh langsung kompetensi pedagogik terhadap komitmen kerja guru di Kompleks GIKI 3 Surabaya. Tidak ada pengaruh langsung disiplin kerja terhadap komitmen kerja. Terdapat pengaruh langsung. Terdapat Pengaruh langsung kompetensi pedagogik terhadap kinerja. Tidak ada Pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja. Pengaruh tidak langsung kompetensi pedagogik terhadap kinerja melalui komitmen kerja menunjukkan kompetensi pedagogik yang didukung oleh komitmen kerja akan semakin memperkuat pencapaian kinerja guru. Pengaruh tidak langsung disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja melalui komitmen kerja menunjukkan bahwa komitmen kerja dapat memperkuat kinerja guru yang diharapkan dapat semakin memperkuat pencapaian kinerja guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Kompetensi dan Beban Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan melalui Motivasi Kerja di PT. Tractorindo Mitra Utama Mojokerto. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplanatori dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan adalah semua anggota populasi yaitu 55 orang karyawan di PT. Tractorindo Mitra Utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja (p-value=0,001), beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja (p-value=0,017), motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja (p-value=0,015), kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi (p-value=0,000), beban Kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi (p-value=0,000), kompetensi melalui Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja (p-value=0,013), dan beban kerja melalui motivasi kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja (p-value=0,014).

Abstract

This type of research is explanatory research, research approach using a quantitative approach, research data analysis using SEM program partial least squares (PLS). The population is 230 people, the research sample is 146 people, the sampling method uses the slovin formula. Based on data analysis using smart PLS, the results showed that: 1). Promotion on purchasing decisions has a positive and significant effect with Original Sample value of 0.296 and p-values ​​of 0.000; 2). Promotion on customer loyalty has a positive and significant effect with the Original Sample value of 0.391 and p-values ​​of 0.000; 3). Service quality on purchasing decisions has no significant positive effect with the Original Sample value of 0.077 and p-values ​​of 0.244; 4). Service quality on customer loyalty has a significant positive effect with Original Sample value of 0.291 and p-values ​​of 0.002; 5). Customer loyalty to purchasing decisions has a significant positive effect with the Original Sample value of 0.318 and p-values ​​of 0.000; 6). Promotion on purchasing decisions mediated by consumer loyalty has a positive and insignificant effect with the Original Sample value of 0.124 and p-values ​​of 0.004; 7). Service quality on purchasing decisions mediated by customer loyalty has no significant positive effect with Original Sample value of 0.093 and p-values ​​of 0.005. The dominant influence is the effect of promotion on customer loyalty.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the quality of core services, the quality of peripheral service satisfaction and customer loyalty in the laboratory of Grha Prodia Surabaya clinic. In addition to testing and analyzing the influence of each of these variables. The results of the research obtained for the influence of each variable include the quality of core service has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, peripheral service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, core service quality has a significant effect on customer loyalty, peripheral service quality does not have a significant influence on customer loyalty, core service quality through customer satisfaction has a significant effect on customer loyalty. Customer loyalty, peripheral service quality through customer satisfaction have a significant effect on customer loyalty, and customer satisfaction has a significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The present research purposively seeks the predictive effect of RBC ratios to forecast the emerging of financial distress on life insurance company in Indonesia. The predictor variables-used are 1) total assets, 2) total liabilities, 3) credit risks, 4) liquidity risks, 5) market risks, 6) insurance risks, and 7) operational risks. The data-collections are derived from the financial statements of 10 life insurance company samples, which had higher financial performance than the other companies, along the periods of 2017-2021. The results-generated, from multiple linear regression analysis, are showing some significant values of predictive effect on all of seven predictors to forecast financial distress, either partially or simultaneously. These findings may be positioned as reference by life insurance companies in Indonesia to manage their financial risks so that company may be able to mitigate the emerging financial distress in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Motivation, Career Planning, and Organizational Support on Job Performance through Job Satisfaction. The data analysis technique to answer the research hypothesis is path analysis. Data analysis was performed using statistics with the SmartPLS version 3.0 tool. The results showed that: (1) Motivation had no significant effect on Job Satisfaction; (2) Career Planning has no significant effect on Job Satisfaction; (3) Organizational Support has a significant effect on Job Satisfaction; (4) Motivation has a significant effect on Job Performance; (5) Career Planning has a significant effect on Job Performance; (6) Organizational Support has a significant effect on Job Performance; (7) Job Satisfaction has no significant effect on Job Performance; (8) Motivation has no significant effect on Job Performance through Job Satisfaction; (9) Career Planning has no significant effect on Job Performance through Job Satisfaction; and (10) Organizational Support has no significant effect on Job Performance through Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the analysis of financial ratios to financial distress with firm value as an intervening variable in property and real estate companies Tbk. This type of research is quantitative with the population in this study as many as 65 companies within a period of 3 years, namely 2018 - 2020. The sample companies are 30 companies. Purposive sampling sampling technique. This study uses secondary data published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data analysis was carried out with a quantitative approach using path analysis. Path analysis to test and prove the research hypothesis. The results showed that profitability, liquidity, solvency and activity had no significant effect on firm value; profitability and activity have no effect on financial distress; liquidity, solvency and firm value affect financial distress; Profitability has no effect on financial distress through firm value, while liquidity, solvency and activity affect financial distress through firm value.

Abstract

This study describes the implementation of character education in SMP Wijaya Putra based on eleven principles of effective character education by Lickona and its supporting and inhibiting factors. Data obtained from questionnaires and interviews. The selected informants were the school principal, vice-principal, homeroom teacher, and several students. The analysis shows SMP Wijaya Putra applies the eleven principles of effective character education by fulfilling each indicator in each principle. Based on the analysis, it is obtained several supporting factors, including: stakeholder support, formulation of agreed character goals in the form of six pillars, various programs and activities that integrate character education, school is an ethical community, meaningful curriculum and challenge, involvement of student guardians and the community in the application of character education, and assessment of the student character education achievement. In addition to supporting factors, several inhibiting factors are obtained which, if minimized, can enhance the implementation of character education in SMP Wijaya Putra. The inhibiting factors include: an informal character education effectiveness survey; cultural, climate and school function assessments as ethical learning communities are not optimal; teacher and staff reflection as informal character educators; and assessment of student understanding of ethical values ​​and behaviors aspects have not been covered.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) are very important assets for the company. The performance of a company will be good if the employees have good competence. Employee competence has an influence on employee performance which is also related to workload factors to complete tasks. In market competition, the company must have an advantage over competing companies. Employee competency development is expected to increase motivation to work productively. High employee motivation will have a positive impact on the company. This type of research is an explanatory study with a quantitative approach. The sample used is all members of the population, namely 55 employees at PT. Tractorindo Mitra Utama. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that competence had a positive and significant effect on performance (p-value = 0.001), workload had a negative and significant effect on performance (p-value = 0.017), motivation had a positive and significant effect on performance (p-value = 0.015) , Competence has a positive and significant effect on motivation (p-value = 0,000), workload has a negative and significant effect on motivation (p-value = 0,000), competence through work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance (p-value = 0.013), and Workload through Work Motivation has a negative and significant effect on performance (p-value = 0.014).

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of Organizational Culture, Internal Communication and Work Conflict on Employee Performance at PT Arga Beton Indah Kedamean Gresik. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and carried out to 52 employees at PT Arga Beton Indah Kedamean Gresik. Analysis of this research data using SPSS assistance. The data testing technique used in this study is a sample technique which includes validity test with factor analysis, reliability test with Cronbach Alpha, classic assumption test which includes normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test, multiple linear regression analysis to test and prove the research hypothesis. The conclusion of this study is that Organizational Culture has a significant effect on employee performance at PT Arga Beton Indah Kedamean Gresik, Internal Communication has no significant effect on employee performance at PT Arga Beton Indah Kedamean Gresik, Work Conflict has a significant effect on employee performance at PT Arga Beton Indah Kedamean Gresik . Organizational Culture, Internal Communication and Work Conflict simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance at PT Arga Beton Indah Kedamean Gresik.
