Abstract

The purpose of this study is: (1) to describe the application of the concept attainment learning model to increase students' activation in math subjects. (2) to describe the application of the concept attainment learning model to improve students' learning achievement on math subjects.(3) to describe the effectiveness of the application of the concept attainment learning model to increase activation and students' learning performance in math subjects. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive type of research is classroom action research (classroom action research) quasi expo. The subject of this research is the XI high school student of 1 Pajar Bulan high school. The data-collecting technique is a essay test that corresponds with An indicator of activity ability and learning achievement on the subject  Trigonometry on the sinus and cosine subject. The given test it’s a ten-to-one descriptions. Research shows that the concept attainment learning model can increase activation and students’ math performance. The average activation and the performance of student mathematics taught with a learning model achieving c higher concepts than average activation and students  learning achievement are taught with conventional models

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model to increase the motivation and learning achievement of students in Arabic class VIII subjects at MTs Negeri 1 Pagar Alam. The model used in this research is classroom action research with experiments. The subjects in this study were 96 students of class VIII MTs Negeri 1 Pagar Alam, of which 32 students were class VIII.3 as an action class, as a sample the experimental class was class VIII.1, totaling 32 participants. students while the control class was class VIII.2, totaling 32 students for data collection techniques using observation sheets and tests, the collected data were analyzed using averages and t-test. The results of this study concluded that learning with the application of the type of jigsaw cooperative learning model can increase the motivation and achievement of students in learning, especially in Arabic at MTs Negeri 1 Pagar Alam

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of fine motor skills and cognitive through the application of the method of playing with meronce to group B children in TK Negeri 1 Pagaralam. The research design used was classroom action research and quasi-experimental. CAR is an action cycle consisting of 3 cycles from the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The PTK subjects are children of group B1 even semester of the 2020/2021 school year. The sample of the experimental group was group B2 and control group B3 TK Negeri 1 Pagaralam. The research instrument used observation sheets, tests and work results. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, mean, percentage, and t-test. The results of the study increased significantly in each action cycle seen from the increase in children's fine motor skills and cognitive abilities seen from the classical completeness of the first cycle was only 28% of the MB criteria, increased in cycle II by 57% of the BSH criteria and the third cycle reached 100% of the BSB criteria using the method. playing with meronce in group B of TK Negeri 1 Pagaralam

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to: (1) To describe appropriate audio-visual learning media in improving the learning achievement of Islamic education in class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pagaralam. (2) To describe the effectiveness of audio-visual learning media in improving learning achievement. This research uses research and development. The population of the research is the VII grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pagar Alam while the research sample is class VII.2 as the experimental class and VII.1 as the control class. The data collection techniques used in the study were assessment sheets and student test results. The data analysis used was the mean and t-test. Based on the results of the validation of media experts and material experts, it was concluded that the developed audio-visual media was feasible to improve student achievement in learning Islamic religious education in congregational prayer material. Then, based on the results of limited-scale product trials and large-scale trials, it was found that audio-visual learning media could improve student achievement in Islamic Studies subjects in congregational prayer in class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pagar Alam

Abstract

The aims of this study to: Create an e-book on the subject of English XI grade at Vocational High School Number 3 Pagar Alam City which is feasible to improve student achievement. In this study uses a development design (Research and Development). The subjects of this study are students of Science Class XI of Senior High School Number 3 Pagar City. The data collection techniques used in the study were (1) Assessment sheets for product validation and to describe student responses. (2) The results of student tests to analyze the increase in student achievement. The data analysis used mean and t-test. The instrument of this study uses a Linkert scale. The conclusions of this research are; (1) The development of this English E-Book is feasible to improve student achievement in learning English according to the validation of material experts and the validation of media experts obtained an average score is 3.85 with “Very Eligible” criteria. (2) The development of this English e-book can improve student learning outcomes based on the results of a wide-scale trial trial of class XI MIPA students of SMA Negeri 3 Pagar Alam in English subjects obtained based on the results of a wide- scale trial trial of class XI MIPA students of SMA Negeri 3 Pagar Alam in English subjects, the results obtained from the study it can be concluded that the developed English ebook can significantly improve student achievement in English subjects

Abstract

This study aims to describe the utilization of the computer laboratories on learning of ICT in SMP Negeri 2 Pagar Alam. The  research approach with a type of descriptive qualitative research. Data were collected by using the interview method, observation, and documentation. The Data collected in the form of words is analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Checking the validity of data using triangulation techniques and discussions peers. The results showed that: (1) Completeness of facilities and infrastructure of the computer laboratory of SMP Negeri 2 Pagar Alam meets the minimum standards Permendiknas RI No. 24 2007 (2) Condition of facilities and infrastructure of the laboratory computer SMP Negeri 2 Fence Nature meets the minimum standards Permendiknas RI No. 24 2007 (3) Utilization of a computer laboratory in the process of learning ICT passed through three stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation. (4) the Usage of the computer laboratory as a source of learning is maximized function is to make the laboratory as a place of learning of students, as a place of psychomotor development of the students, as a place of consolidation of learning and as a means to add to the literature of the student's knowledge. Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of internet facilities by students of SMA Negeri 1 Jarai Lahat Regency. The internet facilities referred to include the use of sites at SMA Negeri 1 Jarai which are accessed by students with regard to assignments given by the teacher and subject scores. This research is a qualitative research that does not use statistical numerical methods. In this study the researcher is the main instrument (keyinstrument). The essence of the researcher as the main instrument is applied in the use of data collection techniques. Data collection techniques in research methods include: interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study describe the function of the internet in the learning process so that students can look for learning resources, extracted materials, the process of improvement that generates new ideas and the factors that influence it

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the the correlation among learning styles, attitudes toward mathematics and mathematics learning achievements of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Pagar Alam. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational method. The population of this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pagar Alam, through proportional stratified random sampling. The research instrument used in the form of a learning style questionnaire, attitude questionnaire towards Mathematics subjects and documentation of student learning achievement. The data analysis technique used to test the correlation between variables X1 to Y and X2 to Y is partial correlation analysis, to test the correlation of X1, X2 to Y, multiple regression analysis is used. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between learning styles and attitudes towards mathematics subjects simultaneously on mathematics learning achievement. A significance score of 0.016 is lower than 0.05. This means that Ha is accepted, while Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that the right learning style will improve students' Mathematics learning achievement followed by high attitudes towards Mathematics subjects. The more precise the student's learning style that is applied plus a positive attitude towards Mathematics subjects, the more optimal the Mathematics learning achievement will be

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the cooperative learning model type of Snowball Throwing to increase student participation and learning achievement in the fifth grader on social studies subject at SD Negeri Dempo Utara District. The research design used was classroom action research and quasi-experimental. The research subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 41 Pagar Alam of the 2020/2021 school year. Simple Random Sampling was used to determine the quasi-experimental sample, they were the fifth grader of SD Negeri 26 Pagar Alam and class fifth grader of SD Negeri 25 Pagar Alam. The research instrument used observation sheets and tests. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, mean (mean), percentage, and t-test. The results showed that the application of the Snowball Throwing, one of cooperative learning model could increase the participation and learning achievement of the fifthgrade students of SD Negeri in Dempo Utara District.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of demonstration method to increase student attention and learning achievement. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is carried out in three cycles with four stages consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research also uses quasi experiment. The subject of the study was the second semester of II grade students in the 2020/2021 school year at SD Negeri 2Pagar Aam, totaling 25 students. Whereas the quasi-experiments were IIA and IIB grade students in SD Negeri 7 Pagar Alam, each of which numbered 25 students. Data collection instruments in this study used observation sheets and tests. Analysis of research data using statistical averages (mean), percentages and t-test. The results showed that the application of the demonstration method in learning activities could increase the attention and learning achievement of grade II students of SD Negeri 2 Pagar Alam
