Abstract

The purpose of this research is to apply the number heads together (NHT) learning method to increase student activity and achievement. This research has been carried out with the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which will be followed by a quasi experiment. The subject of this research is SD Negeri 3 Lahat which has 20 people, consisting of 10 men and 10 women. The technique of collecting data was by means of assessment sheets and tests, while data analysis was carried out using the t-test. Based on the data analysis of this study, using number heads together can increase student activity and learning achievement in mathematics learning in grade V SD Negeri 3 Lahat. The implication of the results of this study is that if teachers want to improve student achievement in social studies subjects, a number heads together type of cooperative learning model can be used

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effect of the Group Investigation (GI) and Jigsaw cooperative learning model on learning achievement in Biology in terms of student achievement motivation. The design used in this study was the experimental squasi with 2 x 2 factorial design. Data collection was carried out by observation and tests, the subject of experimental research was students of class X MIPA. The sample selection is done by using purposive random sampling technique. The experimental class is X MIPA 1 and the control class is X MIPA 3. From the results of the study it was concluded that students who studied with the cooperative learning model of the Group Investigation (GI) type had higher learning achievement than students who studied with the Jigsaw type, students who had high achievement motivation had higher learning achievement than students who had low achievement motivation, and there was interaction between student  achievement motivation and learning achievement Biology at State High School 1 Lahat.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the demonstration method to increase creativity and student achievement. The research that was conducted was Classroom Action Research and continued with quasi-experimental research. Classroom Action Research was carried out in three cycles, each cycle going through the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were sixth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Merapi Timur Lahat. The instruments used are observation sheets and test sheets. The technique of collecting data was by observing and testing, while the experimental class only tested the demonstration method. Data analysis was carried out using the t test and the classical mean value. Based on the data analysis of this study, it was concluded that (1) the application of the demonstration method could increase students' creativity; (2) The application of the demonstration method can improve student achievement; (3) There is an effective use of the demonstration method to improve student achievement in science subjects for class VI at SD Negeri 2 Merapi Timur Lahat

Abstract

This research is conducted  to describe the application of talking stick type of cooperative learning model to increase the speaking skill and the students’ achievement at English Lesson of the tenthgrade at SMA Negeri 1 Kikim Timur. The research methods that used were Classroom Action Research and Quasi Experiment. The subjects of this research were students of the tenth grade SMA Negeri 1 Kikim Timur at the second semester of the academic year 2020/2021,for CAR class was X IPS 1,Experiment class X IPS 3,and Control Class X IPS 2. Each class totaling 27 students. The Research instruments used observation sheet and test. The data analysis used the average score analysis and test consisting of inter-cycle different test and unrelated two sample different test. The result showed  that the application of cooperative type of learning model talking stick can increase the speaking skill and the students’ achievement of the tenthgradestudents of English lesson at SMA Negeri 1 Kikim Timur

Abstract

This  research  aims  to  describe application  of  the  Problem Based Learning (PBL) model  which can improve the critical thinking and the learning achievement.  The  method  used  in the types of research carried out were Classroom Action Research (CAR) and quasi-experiments . The subjects of this research were students of class VIII  SMP Negeri 2 Merapi Barat in semester 2 of the 2020/ 2021 academic year. The number  of  students  for  the CAR class is 32 people, for the Experiment class 31 people, and for the Control class 30 people. The data collection method in this research used the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model observation sheet, observation  sheet  on  students' critical thinking and learning outcomes tests. The  data  analysis used an average score and a test which consisted of  a  different   test  between  cycles  and  a  two-sample  difference  test  that was not related. The results showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model could improve critical thinking, learning achievement and the effectiveness of student learning outcomes in Indonesian class VIII  SMP Negeri 2 Merapi Barat

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the project citizen learning model the effectiveness of the project citizen learning model to improve critical thinking skills and learning achievement in Civics class XI SMA Negeri 1 Kikim Timur subjects. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) and quasi-experimental. The subjects of this study were class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Kikim Timur in the second semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The number of students for the PTK class was 30 people, for the experimental class there were 30 people, and for the control class there were 30 people. Methods of data collection in this study using the observation sheet project citizen learning model, the observation sheet for critical thinking skills and test learning outcomes. The data analysis used the average score and tests which consisted of a different test between cycles and an unrelated two-sample difference test. The results showed that the application of the project citizen learning model can improve critical thinking skills, learning achievement and effectively improve student learning outcomes in Civics class XI SMA Negeri 1 Kikim Timur.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of direct learning models and describe the effectiveness of direct learning models to increase  the self-reliance and learning achievement of learners in the XII class of science at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Agung. The design of the research used was Class Action Research (PTK) and experimental research. The subject in this study is an XII class science at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Agung during semester 2 of the 2020/2021 school year. As for number of students for the PTK class was 25 people, for the experimental class there were 25 people, and for the control class there were 26 people. The method of collecting data in this study uses the teacher activity, observation sheet application of a direct learning model (direct instruction), a self- reliance observation sheet learning and student learning result. The data analysis uses an average score and tests made up of different tests between cycles and two separate samples that are unrelated. Research shows that application of direct learning models can enhance efficiency, learn and effectively improve students learning on XII science class economics at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Agung

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of group tutoring and the effectiveness of group tutoring in order to improve self-discipline and learning achievement. The research method used is Classroom Action Research and uses quasi-experiments. The subjects of this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Kikim Timur Semester 2 of the 2020/2021 academic year. The number of students for the PTK class, namely class X.2, amounted to 35 people, for the experimental class, namely X.1, which amounted to 35 people and for the control class, namely X.3, which amounted to 35 people. The method used in data collection in this study used group guidance observation sheets, disciplinary observation sheets, and student learning outcomes tests. Data analysis used average score analysis and test-test. Which consisted of a different test between cycles and an unrelated two-sample difference test. The results showed that the application of group tutoring can improve student self-discipline, student learning achievement and the effectiveness of the application of group guidance in class X craft subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Kikim Timur

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to find out 1) The application of the Problem Learning can increase Responsibility student, 2) The application of the Problem Learning can improve student learning achievement in mathematics student in Class VIII in SMP Negeri 4 Kikim Selatan Kabupaten Lahat. The problem in this study is that the learning methods used are less varied, the low attitude of student obligation in learning. This study used 20 subjects in PTK research. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and tests. The results of this study indicate that  The application 0f a Problem Learning can increase student Responsibility in Mathematics subjects. The application of a Problem Learning can improve student learning achievement in Mathematics subjects class VIII in SMP Negeri 4 Kikim selatan Kabupaten Lahat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of online learning and discipline on student achievement in Geography and to describe the effectiveness of online learning and discipline to improve student achievement. This research uses experimental research. Data collection was carried out by observation and test, the subject of experimental research was the students of class XI IPS 1, the determination of the experimental class and the control class by means of purposive random sampling. Class X1 IPS 2 as the experimental class and X1 IPS 3 class as the control class. The data were collected by means of a learning achievement test in the form of multiple choice and a questionnaire for discipline. The data were processed statistically using two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) techniques with a significant stage of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that (1) the learning achievement of students who use Zoom Meeting is higher than students who use google classroom. (2) The learning achievement of students who have high discipline is higher than students who have low discipline. (3) There is an interaction between online learning models and the level of discipline on student achievement
