<![CDATA[The background of this research is the low mathematical proofing ability of students. One alternative learning that can be applied to improve students' mathematical proofing ability is the PACE learning. The purpose of this study is to find out: whether the students' mathematical evidentiary ability using the PACE learning is better than students who use PBL (Problem Based Learning) models, and how students respond to mathematics learning using the PACE learning. The research method is quasi-experimental, with a pretest-posttest control group design research design. The study was conducted in one of the state high schools in the city of Bandung. The study population was all students of class XI, the sample students of class XI MIPA-1 as the experimental class were given the PACE treatment and class XI MIPA-2 as the control class was given the PBL treatment. The research instrument was a mathematical proofing ability test, a student questionnaire, and an educator observation sheet. The results of the research are quantitative and qualitative data. Analysis of quantitative research results using t test, while qualitative results use a Likert scale. Based on the analysis of the results of the mathematical proofing ability test, it can be concluded that: the mathematical proofing ability of students by using the PACE learning model is better than the students who use PBL learning models, and the students' responses to mathematics learning using the PACE learning are positive.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of education is to create a generation that has competencies that can compete both on a national and internationalscale. Accordingly, mathematics education in schools should provide the competence that enables students to align theirabilities with other students in the international world. To be like that, the student must have the ability to understand theEnglish language which is typical for the field of study of mathematics. In order for them to access the correct information soas to avoid mistakes and misunderstandings. For that learning mathematics in schools should provide an introduction to theterms of English in mathematics so that students become familiar with the use of different foreign terms. But in fact, the useof English in learning mathematics in schools is generally still very limited. This is due to a lack of understanding ofbilingualism in mathematics learning, so teaching bilingual math to teachers can be a fear of its own. This paper exploreshow bilingual math learning is, about how it is prepared, and how it is executed. Then the teachers no longer feel afraid totry it.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was motivated by the low of students’ mathematical connection ability. Guided inquiry-based student worksheets was used as an alternative to improve students' ability. The purpose of this research was determine the effect of using guided inquiry-based student worksheets on students' mathematical connection ability in mathematics learning. The research was conducted in one of the state junior high school in the city of Bandung. The population in this study were all VII grade students, with the sample were VII 4 class students as the control class and VII 9 class as the experimental class. The instruments used were a matter of students’ mathematical connection ability test and observation sheet of educator activities. Based on the analysis of the Cohen's d test, it was concluded that the use of guided inquiry-based student worksheets affected students' mathematical connection ability.]]>

But any renewal inan effort to improve the quality of education will lead to learning in the classroom where the main determinant of quality isthe teacher. Therefore, the preparation of qualified teachers will determine the overall quality of education. Forms of qualityteacher preparation are done through competency-based teacher training. To further improve the results in this papersupplemented by the use of inquiry-based modules. The main characteristic of this module is that the inculcation of conceptsis integrated with the inculcation of the underlying reasoning accompanied by the inculcation of science process skills.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was motivated by the low creative thinking ability of students in learning mathematics. One alternative learning that can be applied to improve student creative thinking ability is the Blended Learning (BL) model with the help of the edmodo application. The purpose of this study was to see the increase in creative abilities, accountability character, and the relationship between accountability characters and creative thinking ability through the application of the BL model assisted by the Edmodo application. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were all student of class X in one of the secondary schools in Bandung Regency with a sample of class X IPA 1 as the experimental class and X IPA 2 as the control class. The instrument used was a creative thinking ability test. Based on the results of the Mann Whitney analysis of the creative thinking ability test of students, the increase in creative thinking ability that learn to use the BL model is better for student who use the Discovery Learning Model. The accountability character of students who use the BL model with Edmodo applications has a good interpretation. The accountability character of students has a positive relationship with creative thinking ability and low interpretation.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the low value of daily test of students on the subject of Equation of Straight Line which is more than for half does not reach the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) of the set standard is 70.00. The low learning outcomes of students indicate that the learning process has not run optimally. Therefore, in need of learning alternatives that support students to think creatively, to improve the KKM, one of them using Search model, solve, create, and share (SSCS). This study aims to determine the improvement of students' creative thinking ability by using SSCS learning model on straight-line equation. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). Carried out in three cycles. Cycle 1 consists of two meetings, cycle 2 and cycle 3 each consisting of one meeting. Instruments used to collect data consist of creative thinking ability test, instructional learning observation sheet with SSCS model, and student response questionnaire to learning with SSCS model. The results obtained from this research are 1) students' creative thinking ability increases after learning by using SSCS learning model; 2). Student learning completeness on the subject The equation of Straight line increases after learning with SSCS learning model; 3) students respond positively to mathematics learning using SSCS method]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated to improve students’ achievement in learning Mathematics. It was based on teaching and learning Matrix at the first grade students’ majoring in Multimedia of SMK Mandalasari Cikancung by using conventional teaching which students became passive. It influenced the result of learning by using conventional teaching which students got the score below passing grade. One of alternative learning that was applied to improve students’ learning Mathematics was collaborative learning method with Each one teach one technique. This research used a classroom action research (CAR) which it was aim to analyze the students’ achievement in learning process, analyze the result of students’ learning Mathematics, and analyze the students’ responses toward the use of collaborative learning method with Each one teach one technique. The participant of this research was all of the first garde students’ majoring in Multimedia of SMK Mandalasari Cikancung academic year 2015/2016. The instrument of the research was formative test, students and teacher’ observation sheet, questionnaire, and journal. Based on the result of data, it showed that the result of learning Mathematics got improvement and students had positive responses toward the use of collaborative learning method with Each one teach one technique.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is background by the emergence of learning barriers (learning obstace) which is epistemological. This research is a qualitative research by using research methods of didactic design (Disactical Design Research). The data collection techniques in this research is using triangulation with learners in the 4-third grade as a research subjects to identify learning obstacle, and the students of class 1-first grade for the implementation of the didactic design. The results showed that there is a learning obstace on the concept of pedestal partner and triangle high, then didiactic design arranged based on learning obstacle and relevant learning theories, in general response that had been given by learners appropriate with predictions, and the didactic design is potentially to be able to develop the ability of conceptual understanding.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of technology and communication is currently growing rapidly, thus impacting the largenumber of circulating information. The amount of information that is available now makes findinginformation difficult, so it takes the ability to search, choose and evaluate which information is needed. Theability to search, choose and evaluate information better known as information literacy is an ability that mustbe owned by the community to realize an information society. Students are part of the community who playa role in filling development, of course must have this ability as a basic ability. With information literacy thatis capable of helping students achieve optimal academic abilities and support student self regulated learning.Especially students who are completing their thesis to get an academic degree, this ability is very supportiveof students when looking for relevant sources or references that support the research topic. This researchwas carried out in the 2015/2016 academic year with the research subjects being 70 students who contractedthesis, consisting of 17 male students and 53 female students. The instrument used is an information literacyquestionnaire adapted from Nurtiar (2012). Based on the results of data analysis, it was obtained a picturethat the average level of information literacy of thesis students in the Department of Mathematics EducationUntirta amounted to 40.17 included in the less category. This indicates that students are aware of the needto get the information needed, and have knowledge about matters relating to the search and use ofinformation even though there are still few. So that it requires guidance and intensive information literacytraining that is integrated in one subject]]>
