Jurnal Riset Agama is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly research on Religious and socio-cultural studies. Particular attention is paid to works dealing with Religious studies using an interdisciplinary perspective, especially within Islamic Theology and its related teachings resources. The journal is published three times a year, in April, August, and December by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Indonesia The review process in this journal employs a double-blind peer-review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the hadith related to eyeliner. This study uses a qualitative approach through the method of takhrij and syarah hadith analysis of contemporary issues. The results of this study found that the hadith about itsmid is closely related to eyeliner in the contemporary era. The quality status of itsmid hadith is considered authentic so that it can be used as a basis for Islamic practice. The discussion of this study explains that eyeliner has been found since the time of the Prophet known as eye shadow (al-itsmid) as a health to grow eyelashes in addition to sharpening the eyes. While eyeliner in the contemporary era is more used for the beauty of women and the use of eye shadow is more as make up. The conclusion of this study is that the use of eyeliner in the contemporary era is more susceptible to health than eye shadow made from al-itsmid. This study recommends millennials, especially women, to use make-up that is sterile and safe for health.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper purpose is to determine how the concept of the value of Sufism in Idrisiyyah Islamic Boarding School Tasikmalaya. Second, how to apply the values of Sufism of the Idrisiyyah Tarekat in developing the character of the students of the Idrisiyyah Islamic Boarding School Tasikmalaya.this paper used qualitative method which data source from observation, interview, and literatures that related with the topic. The research result shows that Idrisiyyah as a religious institution engaged in an effort to develop the character of the students emphasizes on three religious pillars namely Faith, Islam, Ihsan, in the pattern of Sufism put forward Sufism amali oriented to Tazkiyyah annafsh (cleansing of the soul) tashfiyah al-qalb (building a positive character), and tahdzib al-akhlaq (building akhlakul karimah) trying to instill a positive character for the santri. One of the efforts to handle santri not be deceived by the world is with cultivation of sufistic values guided directly by Mursyid Tarekat Idrisiyyah namely Sheikh Akbar Muhammad Fathurrahman. Dhikr gives meaning to self-awareness which then encourages him consciously and with full responsibility to continue his dynamic life mission of giving meaning through righteous deeds.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to discuss the role of qanaah attitude in dealing with household economic problems based on the perspective of the idrisiyyah order's prosperous family development institution. This research uses qualitative research methods where the resulting source comes from observations and interviews and literature related to research. The results of this study give the understanding that qanaah is a form of gratitude for the efforts that have been made to pick up sustenance. In addition, qanaah is also interpreted as an attitude of acceptance towards all destiny and decrees from Allah Swt., and still accompanied by still trying and trying to get what we need. The Prosperous Family Development Institute is a container in which there are coaching programs as a form of service to pilgrims who want or are married. LPKS provides guidance on how to become a human being who has good morals and provides tips on how to be a good household. As for the conclusion that can be drawn, the role of qanaah in dealing with economic problems in the household is very important, because with qanaah humans will always feel enough with what they have received so that it will minimize conflicts that occur in the household due to the absence of demands from both sides. This research recommends the importance of understanding and applying qanaah attitudes in family life in order to create a harmonious family.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the hadith about cleanliness associated with waste management. This research method applies a qualitative type through library research and field studies using content analysis. The discussion of this research includes general views of cleanliness, hadith about cleanliness, and creating environmental cleanliness through waste management. This study concludes that cleanliness is the main thing in Islam as a half faith that can be done through waste management in order to create the expected environment. Waste management can be done by reducing, reusing, and recycling. The solution to overcome plastic waste is carried out through education, action, and campaigns.]]>

<![CDATA[At the Al-Muhajirin Islamic Boarding School there are SMA and MA students where the difference between the two is high school students who do not study Sufism and MA students who study Sufism, therefore both of them must have different levels of patience even though their positions are the same students. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to find out how the level of patience between high school and MA students at the Al-Muhajirin Islamic Boarding School was. This study uses qualitative research methods with observation and interview techniques. The results and discussion of the research are in carrying out daily activities at this Islamic Boarding School, the importance of patience in each student to be able to face the destiny that God has determined, face God's favors and face all the trials that God has given. The conclusion in this study shows that in carrying out their daily activities at Islamic boarding schools, there are differences in the level of patience between high school and MA students. Where high school students are at the iffah level and MA students are at qana'ah. It is hoped that further research can use different research methods in order to obtain more comprehensive results.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the hadith syarah related to sterile date milk as a healthy drink during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach that emphasizes literature study through the takhrij and syarah hadith methods with contemporary analysis. The results of this study found that the quality status of the hadith about dates is considered valid according to the takhrij hadith. Meanwhile, the hadith syarah shows that dates are known to be processed ingredients for health drinks, including sterile date milk which is useful for increasing immunity during the Covid-19 pandemic. The conclusion of this study is that the hadith about dates can be referred to as an Islamic practice because it has a valid status and dates can be used as sterile date milk products to increase immunity during the Covid-19 pandemic according to health sector instructions. This study recommends the collaboration of hadith experts and health experts in experimental processing of sterile dates milk for health during the Covid-19 period.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the core values in strategic management systems. This research method is qualitative through literature study with a living hadith approach which is a case study in Islamic higher education. The results and discussion of this research are in the form of a vision, mission, goals, strategic objectives, and core values of Islamic higher education institutions. These are substantially understood as a manifestation of the management of the Prophet, as a noble person with al-Qur'an morals. This study concludes that the relevant living hadith approach is used for research on the core values of strategic management systems that are initiated by institutions in their efforts to achieve strategic goals. The recommendation of this research is the importance of developing hadith studies and developing value-based institutions as a reference for decision making.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the phenomenon of spill the tea which is included in the gibah category and is widely practiced by social media users. So this research is crucial to be discussed. The method used in this study is a type of qualitative research using library research, and also using the maudu'i interpretation method in discussing verses about the Koranic perspective gibah. The results and discussion of this show that there have been many verses of the Qur'an that have indicated the prohibition to commit backbiting and the consequences that arise from these actions. Through this research, a common thread can be drawn that backbiting can trigger the emergence of various serious problems such as hostility, mutual hatred and revenge, depression and even very dangerous if it leads to murder or suicide. However, sadly in today's era, the behavior of backbiting is increasingly being underestimated. So responding to the dangers of this backbiting action, of course, scientific studies about backbiting are needed to be able to sterilize the situation and provide positive energy so that it can minimize the rampant phenomenon of backbiting today, both in the real world and in cyberspace. ]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the meaning of ablution in life according to the Qur'an and the hadith of the Prophet. This research method uses a qualitative type through literature study with content analysis. The results and discussion of this study include general views on ablution, the arguments of the Qur'an and hadith about ablution, and the influence of ablution in life. This study concludes that by performing ablution according to the guidance taught by the Prophet Muhammad and living every washing and ablution movements as well as the motivation from within to maintain ablution so as to make all subjects able to overcome obstacles and challenges. This research is expected to have benefits for enriching the treasures of Islamic knowledge.]]>

This study uses a qualitative approach through descriptive-analytical methods. The results and discussion of this study show an effort to understand the waithood phenomenon by integrating Islamic and social humanitarian perspectives. This study concludes that understanding the waithood p henomenon can be integrated with Islamic and social humanitarian perspectives. This study recommends social figures and communities in understanding the waithood phenomenon.]]>
