Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to: (1) Identify risk events and causes; (2) Knowing the level of risk; (3) Mapping risks; and (4) Recommend preventive strategies that can be implemented in controlling appropriate risks in the green lettuce production process at T.G.F Co., Ltd. Data analysis was carried out using the HOR phase 1, Pareto diagram and HOR phase 2 methods. The data used were primary data and secondary data collected through observation, interviews, filling out questionnaires, and literature study. The resource persons in this research were the head of production, deputy field leaders, and permanent employees of T.G.F Co., Ltd. The results of this research show that there are 18 risk events and 22 risk causes in the entire green lettuce production process at T.G.F Co., Ltd. Analysis of the phase 1 HOR model and risk mapping using the Pareto diagram, it is known that there are 9 priority risk causes (2 in sowing, 1 in planting, 4 in maintenance, and 2 in harvesting). To deal with the causes of these priority risks, 19 preventive actions or mitigation strategies were formulated in the green lettuce production process at T.G.F Co., Ltd.Keywords: risk mitigation strategy; fishbone diagram; HOR mode; pareto diagram   ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengidentifikasi kejadian dan penyebab risiko; (2) Mengetahui tingkat risiko; (3) Memetakan risiko; dan (4) Merekomendasikan strategi preventif yang dapat diterapkan dalam mengendalikan risiko yang tepat pada proses produksi selada hijau di T.G.F Co., Ltd. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode HOR fase 1, Diagram Pareto, dan HOR fase 2. Data yang digunakan berupa data primer dan data sekunder yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, pengisian kuesioner, dan studi pustaka. Narasumber pada penelitian ini adalah kepala produksi, wakil pemimpin lapangan, dan karyawan tetap T.G.F Co., Ltd. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa terdapat 18 kejadian risiko dan 22 penyebab risiko pada seluruh proses produksi selada hijau di T.G.F Co., Ltd. Berdasarkan hasil analisis model HOR fase 1 dan pemetaan risiko menggunakan diagram pareto, diketahui terdapat 9 penyebab risiko prioritas (2 pada penyemaian, 1 pada penanaman, 4 pada pemeliharaan, dan 2 pada pemanenan). Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the application of 5S work culture at Yogo Nouen Farm on each variable, namely seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, and shitsuke. The type of research used is qualitative research with the data sources being primary data and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The research informants used are key informants, namely the Head of Part II and the Head of Farmers and supporting informants, namely Foreign Workers from Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Nepal. The data processing method used is the Miles and Huberman Model with the data validity technique is source triangulation and triangulation method as well as member check and reliability test is using the NVIVO 12 application. The result of this study is that from all measurements of the implementation of the 5S work culture, namely seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, and shitsuke,  two variables were found that have not been implemented properly, namely the seiketsu variable and the shitsuke variable. In  the variable of seketsu, it is indicated that there has been no marking or labeling of dangerous goods or equipment and warnings to be careful in the work area. The shitsuke variable  is indicated by the number of employees who have not complied with the predetermined regulations.Keywords: implementation; work culture; 5SABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan budaya kerja 5S di Yogo Nouen Farm pada masing-masing variabel yaitu seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, dan shitsuke. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan sumber data berupa data primer dan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Informan penelitian yang digunakan adalah informan kunci yaitu Kepala Bagian II dan Kepala Petani serta informan pendukung yaitu Tenaga Kerja Asing (TKA) asal Indonesia, Vietnam, Kamboja, dan Nepal. Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah Model Miles dan Huberman dengan teknik keabsahan data yaitu triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode serta member check dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan aplikasi NVIVO 12. Hasil penelitian ini adalah dari seluruh pengukuran penerapan budaya kerja 5S yaitu seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, dan shitsuke ditemukan dua variabel yang belum terlaksana dengan baik yaitu variabel seiketsu dan variabel shitsuke. Pada variabel seketsu terindikasi belum adanya penandaan atau pelabelan barang atau peralatan berbahaya serta peringatan untuk berhati-hati di area kerja. Variabel shitsuke terindikasi dari banyaknya karyawan yang belum menaati peraturan yang telah ditetapkan.Kata kunci: penerapan; budaya kerja; 5S

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to identify, measure, map, and recommend risk mitigation strategies and priorities that can be applied to control risks in the cow milk production process at Peternakan Sapi Dua Empat. The data used is primary and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The analysis tools used are the House of Risk (HOR) and Pareto diagrams. The results of the study found 20 risk events and 28 risk causes. The highest Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) value was found in the maintenance process, namely direct contact between healthy cows and sick cows (A8), in the milking process, namely the absence of a milking machine (A23), and in the packaging process, namely the absence of a milk quality testing device (A26). From the risk mapping, 13 priority risk causes were identified, which were through 18 mitigation strategies to improve risk control in the cow milk production process at Peternakan Sapi Dua Empat. Keywords: cow milk production; risk mitigation; house of risk (hor) model, pareto diagram.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, mengukur, memetakan, serta merekomendasikan strategi mitigasi risiko serta prioritas yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengendalikan risiko pada proses produksi susu sapi di Peternakan Sapi Dua Empat. Data yang digunakan merupakan data primer dan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui hasil observasi, wawancara, dan pengisian kuesioner. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah House of Risk (HOR) dan diagram Pareto. Hasil penelitian menemukan 20 kejadian risiko dan 28 penyebab risiko. Nilai Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) tertinggi terdapat pada proses pemeliharaan adalah kontak langsung antara sapi yang sehat dengan sapi yang terkena penyakit (A8), pada proses pemerahan adalah tidak adanya mesin pemerah susu (A23), dan pada proses pengemasan adalah tidak adanya alat pemeriksaan kualitas susu (A26). Dari pemetaan risiko diperoleh 13 penyebab risiko prioritas yang kemudian ditangani melalui 18 strategi mitigasi untuk meningkatkan pengendalian risiko pada proses produksi susu sapi di Peternakan Sapi Dua Empat. Abstract

ABSTRACT Agriculture is vital for the Philippines, especially vegetable farming in Majayjay, Laguna, which is often constrained by limited technical knowledge, resource access, and market challenges. One specific constraint is the dependency of farmers on “bukis” or intermediaries, a relationship that often places them at a disadvantage due to their limited knowledge and skills in pricing, negotiation, and market access. This study evaluated the effectiveness of a tailored capacity-building program in enhancing the knowledge, practical skills, and empowerment of smallholder vegetable farmers in the municipality. A descriptive evaluative research design was employed, involving 35 purposively sampled smallholder farmers from three local associations. The training modules were developed based on a comprehensive needs assessment using focus group discussions (FGDs) and key informant interviews (KIIs). Post-training evaluation utilized a structured survey and follow-up KIIs to assess impact. Results demonstrated that the program was highly effective: 97% of participants reported significant improvement in technical knowledge and farming skills (e.g., pest management, post-harvest handling). Furthermore, 88.6% indicated that the training fully met their expectations, and 100% reported applying at least one learned technique in their operations. A key finding was the enhanced sense of empowerment, with 97% expressing high confidence in their decision-making ability and leadership roles within their farm enterprises and associations. The findings confirm that context-specific, participatory capacity-building programs are a potent tool for promoting sustainable agricultural practices and fostering farmer empowerment in localized settings. The study recommends multi-stakeholder support to scale and replicate these targeted programs across similar farming communities. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to: (1) determine the influence model of cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors on the purchasing decision of halal beef meatballs by Generation Z Muslims in South Tangerang City and (2) to analyze the influence of cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors on the purchasing decision of halal beef meatballs by Generation Z Muslims in South Tangerang City. This study uses primary data in the form of questionnaire results obtained from 67 Generation Z Muslim respondents in South Tangerang City. The sample in this study was determined using the nonprobability sampling method with the Accidental Sampling technique. The analysis method used is SEM-PLS. The results of the study indicate that (1) cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors have an influence and can explain the purchasing decision variable by 62.5% and have predictive relevance to the purchasing decision variable; (2) Cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors have a positive and significant influence on the purchasing decision decision by Generation Z Muslims in South Tangerang City. Keywords: halal beef meatballs; muslim generation z; consumer behavior; purchasing decisions.    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui model pengaruh faktor budaya, sosial, pribadi, dan psikologi terhadap keputusan pembelian bakso sapi halal oleh Generasi Z Muslim di Kota Tangerang Selatan dan (2) menganalisis pengaruh faktor budaya, sosial, pribadi, dan psikologi terhadap keputusan pembelian bakso sapi halal oleh Generasi Z Muslim di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer berupa hasil kuesioner yang diperoleh dari 67 responden Generasi Z Muslim di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan menggunakan metode non probability sampling dengan teknik accidental sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) variabel faktor budaya, sosial, pribadi, dan psikologi memiliki pengaruh dan dapat menjelaskan variabel keputusan pembelian sebanyak 62,5% serta memiliki relevansi prediktif terhadap variabel keputusan pembelian; (2) Faktor budaya, sosial, pribadi, dan psikologi memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian bakso sapi halal oleh Generasi Z Muslim di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Abstract

ABSTRACT Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) are critical for ensuring food safety, environmental sustainability, and access to competitive markets, but adoption among smallholder farmers in the Philippines remains low. This study assessed the determinants of GAP adoption among smallholder vegetable farmers in Majayjay, Laguna. Survey data from 69 farmers were selected through purposive sampling and analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson’s chi-square test, and Cramer’s V to examine the relationship between adoption and three variables: membership in farmers’ organization, awareness on GAP, and communication with agricultural extension workers. Results showed that awareness on GAP and communication with agricultural extension workers were significantly associated with adoption, whereas membership in farmers’ organizations was not. These findings highlight the importance of awareness and extension services as key drivers of the respondents’ GAP adoption. While membership in farmers’ organizations may not be significant, strengthening the role of farmers’ organizations can provide institutional and government support and market opportunities that help sustain adoption. This study recommends targeted awareness campaigns, enhanced extension services, and empowered farmers’ organizations to promote GAP adoption among smallholder vegetable farmers. Abstract

ABSTRACT Superior seed breeding is one of the food products that has the opportunity to be developed in an agribusiness system. This study aims to formulate a development strategy for superior rice seed breeding in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The selection of the research location uses purposive sampling method while the sample withdrawal uses non- probability sampling by taking a sample of breeder farmers in Bumi Agung Village, Lempuing District, OKI Regency. Rice seed breeder farmers in this village amounted to 60 people who were purposively selected as samples of this study. Primary data in this study were collected by means of a survey using a questionnaire and analyzed using SWOT. The results showed that superior rice seed breeding is in quadrant I, which has a position (S-O) seed breeding businesses can take advantage of internal strengths to seize external opportunities. alternative strategies that can be applied are optimizing internal strengths, namely farmer experience, effective management, and distribution networks that have been formed, in order to take advantage of external opportunities, such as increased market demand and potential cooperation with third parties.
