Abstract

Business development can be done in many ways, one of which is to increase product variations. This method was achieved by the business unit of the Fastabiqul Khairat Foundation by developing a printing business in the form of making marchandise pins. The limited ability and knowledge of business managers becomes an obstacle for the business development plan. Based on these problems, this Community Service activity aims to provide training with pin graphic design material using the corel draw application device. This activity is carried out in several stages, namely the planning, training, and mentoring stages. As an evaluation indicator, pretest and posttest questionnaires were filled out. The results obtained are that the corel draw graphic design training activities have a significant impact on the knowledge and understanding of participants in making machine pin designs

Abstract

Microsoft Word socialization is a word processing activity using the Windows operating system which is reliable enough to provide convenience for users. Besides being easy to operate, the variations and styles of letters use a full graphic model. In Microsoft Word, the use of commands is usually more than one. You can do this through the menus and toolbars in application programs or via the mouse and keyboard. Microsoft Word is one of the members of Microsoft Office that is often used in terms of the most sophisticated word processing today. The current use of Microsoft Word is only part of the functions that are used, there are still many that have not been used optimally. Many people who type only by relying on the ability of their fingers actually Microsoft Word already provides features that can make us even faster in typing. The results of this socialization add knowledge and a spirit of independence to the rest and female students. It is hoped that the knowledge gained at Community Service this time will be able to provide new enthusiasm for us in sharing knowledge and motivation and contributing to the younger generation, both within the community and family.

Abstract

Based on surveys and discussions in the field with the manager of the "Basuki" Garbage Bank, RT 02, RW 08 Sinar Waluyo Housing, Kedungmundu Village, Semarang, it can be seen that partner problems: 1) Joint management of the "Basuki" Garbage Bank is still relatively short, so the management who new managers must learn from scratch in waste management: 2) In the operational activities of the "Basuki" Garbage Bank, new managers must memorize the many types of waste and the unit price of waste that is worth selling: 3) In recording the entry and exit of waste data, there is no standard and standard format , because it is still in the learning stage; 4) Members cannot see waste management data directly, because waste management data is only recorded in a notebook. To realize community service in training at the "Basuki" Garbage Bank the method applied is a participatory action review which is implemented through training with the following stages: 1) Basic waste bank data recording training using a standard waste bank format; 2) Software training for recording waste bank data; 3) Software training for preparing waste bank reports.

Abstract

Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) Kabupaten Kendal adalah organisasi yang berwenang dan bertanggung jawab mengelola, membina, mengembangkan dan mengkoordinasikan seluruh pelaksanaan kegiatan olahraga prestasi di Kabupaten Kendal. KONI Kabupaten Kendal memiliki tugas pokok merencanakan, mengkoordinasikan dan melaksanakan pembinaan dan peningkatan prestasi atlet, kinerja wasit, pelatih dan manajer, guna mewujudkan prestasi keolahragaan di Kabupaten Kendal menuju prestasi nasional dan internasional. Untuk menyusun strategi diperlukan data mengenai seluruh sumber daya yang dimiliki, baik dalam mempersiapkan sampai dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan olahraga. Saat ini KONI Kabupaten Kendal belum mempunyai sistem informasi berbasis teknologi modern untuk mengelola data yang dimiliki.. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh pengurus KONI Kabupaten Kendal adalah masalah pengelolaan data secara modern dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi dan hal tersebut menjadi prioritas untuk diberikan solusi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut diatas, tim PKM akan memberikan solusi berupa pelatihan menggunakan situs Google Data Studio yang merupakan tool untuk mengubah data menjadi informasi yang akan membantu dalam menentukan keputusan. Pelatihan telah dilaksanakan dengan baik dan peserta dapat mencoba tool Google Data Studio untuk membuat visualisasi data berupa grafik histogram, tabel dan grafik lingkarang yang lebih informatif.

Abstract

Penyajian informasi visual sangat penting dalam menyampaikan pesan secara efektif. Informasi visual memiliki kekuatan untuk menyampaikan ide, data, dan konsep secara cepat, menarik, dan mudah diingat. Informasi visual cenderung lebih mudah diingat daripada informasi dalam bentuk teks. Rasio pemrosesan visual dalam otak manusia jauh lebih tinggi, sehingga informasi visual dapat meninggalkan kesan yang lebih kuat dan tahan lama dalam ingatan. Canva adalah salah satu alat atau platform yang populer digunakan untuk mendesain informasi visual. Canva menawarkan berbagai fitur dan template yang memudahkan pengguna dalam membuat grafis, infografis, poster, presentasi, dan desain visual lainnya. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk pelatihan Canva dapat memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi HRD dalam menciptakan materi dan konten yang menarik serta memperkuat komunikasi visual dalam lingkup tugas mereka. Dengan Canva, HRD dapat membuat brosur, poster, undangan, dan materi promosi lainnya dengan mudah dan cepat. Mereka dapat memilih template yang sesuai, menambahkan informasi acara, mengedit desain, dan menghasilkan materi promosi yang menarik dan profesional.

Abstract

In everyday life humans can never be separated from communication. Public speaking skills or public speaking are still not fully owned by students. Radio is a popular mass media as a source of information needed by the public. One of the important benchmarks for a radio station is the existence of an announcer. So it is necessary to have knowledge of speaking techniques as a radio announcer. To measure the level of understanding of the participants, the manager conducted a pre-test and post-test followed by observations during the practice of radio public speaking. The results of this service activity really helped the trainees in increasing their knowledge, understanding as well as skills in public speaking and broadcasting.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide assistance to provide motivation and understanding of further studies at tertiary institutions at the Baiturrahman Islamic Center Vocational School, Semarang. This was done in order to support students' design creativity. In the initial discussions that were conducted, it was seen that knowledge regarding further studies in tertiary institutions was still lacking. Activities carried out in the form of interactive presentations and questions and answers with students regarding their desire to continue their education to the tertiary level. This activity is expected to provide education about the importance of determining the right strategy in choosing majors and tertiary institutions so that students can choose the right majors according to their wishes to continue their education to the tertiary level as a means of achieving their goals in the future.

Abstract

Integrated service posts (Posyandu) are the government's efforts to make it easier for Indonesian people to obtain maternal and child health services. The main activity of posyandu is to record and monitor the nutritional status, growth and development of toddlers. Mitra Posyandu "Indah Sari" in Manyaran sub-district, Semarang city is managed by 10 cadres of local mothers with no less than 50 toddlers who regularly visit this posyandu. The partner's problem is that recording the results of weighing, measuring body length/height, arm circumference (lila) and toddler head circumference (lika), is still recorded in a book or examination card. There is no information system available that makes it easy for posyandu cadres to monitor and provide explanations of the growth and development of toddlers quickly and accurately to parents of toddlers. The Community Service Team provides solutions, (a) development of the Posyandu Information System and Stunting Monitoring (SIP-PS program) and training of Posyandu cadres for SIP-PS operations, as well as (b) counseling by nutritionists about Stunting monitoring and balanced nutritional food. The SIP-PS program can be used according to partners' needs, namely being able to monitor the growth of toddlers more accurately and quickly. "Indah Sari" Posyandu cadres have a good understanding of the importance of monitoring stunting in toddlers.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) Tunas Bangsa yang berada di Taman Pintar Manyaran Semarang pada dua tahun terakhir mencanangkan sebagai kampung digital bagi masyarakat RW 01 Kelurahan Manyaran Semarang Barat. Hal ini berimbas terhadap PAUD yang juga harus memberikan sistem pembelajaran digital. Namun hingga saat ini baru memilik perangkat Smart TV dan internet yang digunakan sebagai penunjang pembelajaran PAUD, dan belum memanfaatkan perangkat digital yang lain seperti Tablet dan Smartphone untuk menunjang pembelajaran digital. Tujuan Pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah menerapkan sistem pembelajaran digital berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) dengan tema binatang pada PAUD Tunas Bangsa. Metode yang digunakan adalah mengembangkan aplikasi AR tema Binatang, melakukan instalasi aplikasi ke perangkat Tablet dan Smartphone, menguji aplikasi, melatih guru, dan menerapakan pada pembelajaran PAUD. Manfaatnya untuk memberikan pembelajaran bernuansa permainan digital sehingga anak tidak bosan bahkan menjadi menarik perhatian anak, tervisualisasi pada obyek nyata dengan langsung mencoba sehingga memudahkan pemahaman terhadap anak terkait obyek yang dipelajari khususnya mengenal jenis, ciri-ciri dan perilaku hewan.
