This research method uses a type of literature by collecting primary and secondary literature, then the researcher analyzes it using a romantic analysis approach which has two stages, namely grammatical analysis of the text and analysis of the author's psychological condition. The results of this research show that the law on marriage between people of different religions is permitted with two notes, namely: first, marriage between different religions is permitted only for non-Muslims who believe in one god (Arianism), what is meant is Arianism Christians, considering that at that time Christians were divided. into two groups, namely Arianism and Anathasianism. Second, it is permissible to marry ahlul kitab in question who is a Christian who is able to maintain his honor, not a polytheist. Abstract

One of the reasons for wrong behavior by a child is that the parenting style implemented by the parents is not working well. Therefore, this research was conducted to find solutions for ideal parenting patterns that refer to the Quran. The research method used is mixed methods, which combines qualitative research related to parenting models in the Quran and quantitative approaches to determine the level of implementation in social reality. The results of this research show that there are four parenting patterns for parents towards their children: by building good communication, using calls that honor the child, conveying the consequences of mistakes and cultivating an attitude so that the child is respectful to both parents. This research has 108 respondents of students’ parents of SMPIT Darul Quran Bogor. It concludes that parents have a level of implementation of good communication parenting patterns with the highest percentage of 27%, and the lowest implementation in parental cultivation is in the process of instilling the consequences of bad deeds morals so that children are respectful to their parents, amounting to 23%. These findings indicate that maximum efforts are needed to ensure that children have good character to their parents by informing them of the consequences.

Abstract

One of the most pressing and multifaceted challenges in contemporary society is the issue of justice in human life. Social inequality, discrimination, and disparities in access to fundamental rights - such as education, economic opportunities, and healthcare - serve as tangible evidence that justice often remains an abstract ideal without equitable implementation. This study examines the concept of humanity and justice in Islam through the interpretive framework of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, with a focus on: (1) the definition of justice, (2) the individual as the subject of justice, (3) individual freedom as the foundational principle of justice, and (4) equality as a critical prerequisite for justice. Employing a qualitative research design, this study utilizes a descriptive-analytical method combined with a philosophical exegesis approach, interpreting Qur'anic verses through philosophical theory. The findings indicate that humans, as moral agents, play a pivotal role in the realization of justice. Justice, as a core Islamic principle, originates from divine revelation and embodies balance, harmony, and the proper allocation of all things to their rightful place. Justice is achieved when individuals, acting as its practitioners, consciously and freely acknowledge and submit to Allah as the Creator, fulfill their obligations, and equitably honor the dignity of others. Al-Attas underscores the human role as vicegerents (khali>fah) on earth, bearing the responsibility to uphold justice in alignment with human nature (fit}rah). Furthermore, ethics and one’s relationship with God are identified as essential foundations for fostering justice within society and the state.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of understanding the position of women in Islam, particularly in the context of Qur’anic exegesis of Surah Ar-Rum: 21, which emphasizes the role of women in building both family. The differences in interpretation among various exegetes necessitate a comparative study of two prominent scholars, Fakhruddin Ar-Razi and Mutawalli Asy-Sya’rawi. In this verse, the role of women is highlighted primarily as wives who provide tranquility, affection, and harmony within the family, while at the same time reflecting values of mercy and compassion that extend to a broader contribution in building society. The method employed is library research with a qualitative approach, analyzing comparatively Ar-Razi’s Mafatih al-Ghayb and Asy-Sya’rawi’s Tafsir Khawatir along with other supporting literature. The findings reveal that both exegetes agree that women are a divine blessing and a complement to men, with mutually supportive roles in the family. However, Ar-Razi emphasizes differences in obligations based on nature from a philosophical and conservative standpoint, while Asy-Sya’rawi adopts a moderate and contextual approach that relates role distinctions to human disposition (fitrah) and divine law (sunnatullah) as well as modern social relevance. Asy-Sya’rawi’s interpretation is more adaptive to contemporary change, while Ar-Razi provides a classical intellectual foundation that remains significant for exegetical studies.
