Abstract

Hypertension and kidney failure are two types of diseases related to kidney health. Hypertension or high blood pressure can cause damage to the kidneys, while kidney failure is a condition in which the kidneys cannot function properly to build up metabolic waste and fluids from the body. Hypertension can cause damage to the small blood vessels in the kidneys, so that the kidneys cannot excrete waste properly. As a result, harmful substances can accumulate in the body and cause organ damage. If hypertension cannot be controlled properly, it can cause kidney damage and eventually lead to kidney failure. Failure is a kidney condition in which the kidneys cannot function properly to remove metabolic wastes and fluids from the body. Kidney failure can occur for a variety of reasons, including untreated hypertension, diabetes, congenital kidney disease, and use of certain medications. If left untreated, kidney failure can lead to accumulation of waste in the body and serious complications such as anemia, osteoporosis, heart disease and even death. Treatment of hypertension and kidney failure usually involves medication and lifestyle changes. Treatment includes the use of drugs prescribed by a doctor and the management of complications that may occur. Lifestyle changes include managing a healthy diet, reducing salt and fat consumption, exercising regularly, avoiding smoking, and managing stress. Early detection is very important in the management of hypertension and kidney failure. Regular blood pressure checks, urine tests to detect protein in the urine, and blood tests to detect levels of creatinine, blood glucose, and cholesterol in the blood can help detect risks and early symptoms of kidney disease.

Abstract

Over time, in Jombang District, Bareng District, there have been a large number of business actors. The legality of doing business, namely making NIB, is something that many business actors are not currently penalized for. While the NIB itself determines the operations of business actors. The legality of the company is only one of the many benefits of having an NIB. The aim of this community service project is to raise awareness no matter how small an NIB permit is by using technology, which will ultimately make MSMEs step up their game. This service approach involves teaching the client how to use the OSS program to create an online NIB. A simple tool, namely the cellphone of each MSME actor, is used to direct them to provide the necessary information in the form of their KTP and business certificate. Actors can print an output in the form of an NIB certificate accompanied by a presenter as a result of this support. It is believed that initiatives like this in community service will help partners find answers to their problems.

Abstract

student often face difficulties in compiling a bibliography for their academic papers. To avoid plagiarism, it is important to include a comprehensive list of references. The large number of references required in academic writing can make it challenging for some students to manually create a bibliography. To overcome this issue, there is an application called Mendeley that can facilitate the automatic generation of bibliographies. However, many students are still unfamiliar with how to use the Mendeley application, and some may not even be aware of its exixtence. Therefore, this training is organized with the aim of providing a comprehensive understanding to the general student population on how to use the Mendeley application effectively for automatic bibliography creation. The training aims to empower students to independently manage their references, with the hope of achieving maximum results, such as enhancing participants’ knowledge and understanding of using Mendeley, as well as improving their skills in utilizing the application for various types of academic writing, including final projects, journals and theses.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CLHB) has a major influence on people's living habits related to several aspects including: thoughts, habits, actions, and the environment. Stunting activities in Mentor Village are more focused on the age range of babies and toddlers through posyandu activities than with elementary school students, not a few elementary school students do not receive gradual monitoring regarding stunting. This study aims to determine the effect of clean and healthy living behavior on stunting in toddlers in Mentor Village. The targets in the socialization activity were Mentor I and II Elementary School students, with a total of 50 students. The aim is to provide further education regarding the dangers of stunting with the target of elementary school students. The method is used through 4 stages namely observation, planning stage, socialization and evaluation. Data collection technique is by using a questionnaire in the form of pre-test and post-test. The results of the questionnaire showed an increase in children's understanding related to clean and healthy living behavior (CLBH) where initially the level of children's understanding of CLBH before the socialization was held was 27% and after the socialization activities carried out it increased to 91%. There was an increase in students' understanding of the importance of CLBH by 64% indicating that CLBH socialization activities had a positive effect on increasing students' understanding of the importance of CLBH.

Abstract

The agricultural sector is one of the main and very important sectors for Indonesian economy because many Indonesian people work as farmers spread throughout Indonesia. the number of requests for rice raw materials is not fulfilled due to various kinds of obstacles experienced by farmers. One of the problems in Musir Lor Village as a village with a majority of the population working as farmers is the lack of land that can be used for farming and the weakness of farmers' ability to be able to develop their agricultural products. For this reason, technology is needed to be able to help solve the problems faced by farmers in Musir Lor Village. KKNT 65 students from UPN Veteran Jawa Timur help them to overcome the existing problems by holding discussion about Hydroponic planting media also practice to make simple Hydroponics for the people of Musir Lor Village The implementation of socialization activities carried out at the Musir Lor Village Hall on May 11th 2023 which was attended by around 32 people. The socialization included an explanation of the meaning of hydroponics, presentation of material about the advantages of hydroponics, explanation of the tools and materials needed, then there was a training session for installing hydroponic frames and carrying out seeds who then transferred the planting from rockwool to the hydroponic framework, the series of hydroponic socialization events was closed with a question and answer session related to what had been conveyed. Furthermore, there are also controlling activities that will last for few weeks to ensure that the plants can grow properly.

Abstract

Bendogerit Village is one of the villages in the Sananwetan sub-district, Blitar City. In its development, these MSMEs experience problems in licensing, such as the absence of a Business Identification Number (NIB). Student groups of 30 KKN-Thematic in this case provide assistance to MSMEs in making NIB through the Online Single Submission system. 20 UMKM intending to arrange NIB, but 8 UMKM are willing to make NIB. Mentoring and assistance activities in registering NIB and PIRT for MSMEs are very effective in increasing MSME business capabilities. Assistance and management assistance make the registration process easier and MSMEs more confident in doing so.

Abstract

Food is a basic human need, therefore, the food industry is an industry that will always grow, at least following population growth. It is not surprising that the food industry, especially small-scale industries, has sprung up to meet this demand. As a form of community service, the East Java UPN "Veteran" KKN-T 26 group invites and educates the public to do entrepreneurship, especially digitally using social media by creating “Singkong Crispy” Training and Online Marketing programs. This program is an activity that aims to increase people's creativity in entrepreneurship. The target of this program is the surrounding community, especially the women of RT 01 RW 05 in the Kepanjenlor Village, Blitar City. The methods used in this program are lectures, demonstrations and practicum. The results of this activity participants can receive knowledge and can develop potential in entrepreneurship through “Singkong Crispy”.

Abstract

One of the efforts that can be made in order to reduce the stunting rate that occurs in toddlers is through the provision of supplementary food (PMT). Stunting is a problem related to nutrition caused by a lack of fulfillment of nutritional needs due to inadequate food intake. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide socialization regarding the provision of supplementary food (PMT) for toddlers. The target of this activity is as many as 50 mothers and their toddlers who fall into the stunting category in Mentor Villages who are selected based on data from village midwives in each hamlet. Several menus were distributed during the Socialization of Additional Menus (PMT), including Moringa leaf pudding, pumpkin pudding, dragon fruit creamy jelly, chicken martabak, and chicken dumplings. The research method used in this study went through 4 stages, namely observation, planning, outreach and evaluation. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire method in the form of a pre-test. The sampling results show that 1.) the majority of mothers have paid attention to the nutritional composition of toddlers, 2) the majority of mothers are still not consistent in paying attention to the amount and type of food ingredients given to toddlers, 3) the majority of mothers under five are able to make varied and interesting food for consumption by toddlers, but not routinely done every day, 4) the majority of mothers have paid attention to their children's food patterns on a daily basis, 5) the majority of mothers have carried out good supervision and assistance in terms of food for their children his son.

Abstract

Early childhood is a child who is in the process of growth and development. At this age all aspects of child development progress very rapidly. Aspects of development in early childhood include intellectual, physical-motor, socio-emotional, language, moral and religious aspects. All aspects of development that exist in this child should be the concern of educators so that these aspects of development can develop optimally. The purpose of this community service activity is to observe the developmental psychology of children aged 3-5 years at Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten, Kediri City. The approach offered for increasing the degree of health through observation of child development psychology with the play therapy method is the method of observation and puppet stage play therapy. The results of this community service activity The number of children who took part in developmental psychological observation activities and play therapy through the puppet stage were 29 children consisting of 19 girls (65.52) and 10 boys (34.48). The psychological level of child development was obtained from 29 children, 23 children had good developmental psychology and 6 children had poor developmental psychology. It is hoped that the play therapy method with the puppet stage will improve the psychology of child development so that children can achieve maximum growth and development according to their age.

Abstract

Based on reports related to these work accidents and most of them occur in the traders, goods, and consumption industries which are also micro-business or commonly referred to as UMKM social protection needs to be carried out for the Indonesian people in the form of social security. Indonesia has 64,197,050 UMKM that are recorded by the Ministry of Cooperatives UMKM so Indonesian workers who work as UMKM are classified as many and each worker needs social security protection from the government to avoid work accidents as happened before. Therefore, these problems are resolved using observation and interview methods, presenting and discussions wrapped in the socialization of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to UMKM agents in the Medokan Ayu, Surabaya, or in the world of marketing, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan conducts direct selling to prospective consumers through secondary socialization to UMKM agents in Medokan Ayu, Surabaya which is also a research internship activity
