Abstract

The Peri-Urban as part of the urban spatial structure, plays a crucial role in creating urban space. In Situbondo, the characteristics of the Peri-Urban consist of mixed urban and peri-urban land use areas, with agriculture dominating the land use. One of the livelihoods in the Peri-Urban is agriculture. Variables in this study involve elements of settlement morphology, factors influencing the formation of morphology and agriculture, and various other indicators related to these variables. This paper aims to examine the characteristics of agriculture areas and identify factors influencing the formation of peri-urban settlements. This research can provide references to optimize land use in peri-urban settlements. In this study, the researcher employs both qualitative and quantitative methods. Data collection involves recording events that occur in the field during interviews and observations to obtain accurate and reliable research results. The data will be processed using SPSS and ArcGIS 10.8.2 to obtain relevant, supportive accurate, and comprehensive results. From the findings of this research, it is expected that peri-urban settlements require more attention to enhance the environment and public services. In response to the consumption-oriented needs of urban communities, Peri-Urban farmers have intensified the use of multifunctional land activities. However, not all multifunctional opportunities are fully developed, considering the farming activities conducted near the city. This can be an innovative characteristic of land use in the Situbondo Peri-Urban area, indicating that agriculture is a priority land use in the region by improving the quality of harmonious relationships between urban and peri-urban areas through agriculture activities

Abstract

The results of this study show that the regulations used as the basis for the bankruptcy boedel on land purchased based on evidence in the form of a Sale and Purchase Binding Agreement (PPJB) in full entered by the receivership into the bankruptcy boedel section are generally based on Articles 1131, 1132 of the Civil Code and Article 21 of the Bankruptcy Law and PKPU. When examining point b of the formulation of the civil chamber law number 7 SEMA Number 4 of 2016 that the purchase of land in good faith which is only proven by PPJB is paid off and the land is under its control, then the ownership of the land is legally valid. Therefore, the determination of bankruptcy boedel by the curator must heed the element of justice for land buyers in good faith. The legal implication of the act of the curator deliberately inserting the land that was sold and purchased based on PPJB Paid into the bankruptcy boedel is that it can be canceled. The cancellation can be done through a lawsuit filed by the buyer as stipulated in Article 3 paragraph (1) of the Bankruptcy Law and PKPU. This is because the purchase of land and/or buildings purchased by buyers who have good intentions and have been physically controlled is legally valid, therefore the act of the curator entering the buyer's land previously purchased from the seller based on PPJB Lunas is a wrong legal act, because it has implications for harming buyers who have obtained the land by legal means

Abstract

Papua Province has a special regulation that regulates the sustainability of the wheels of government in Papua Province, namely the Special Autonomy of Papua Province. Law number 21 of 2001 concerning Special Autonomy of Papua which has been amended into Law Number 2 of 2021 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 21 of 2001 concerning Special Autonomy for Papua Province. Provide traffic for Papua Province to carry out special autonomy. Referring to this explanation, the author is interested in being able to conduct a study on the Special Autonomy Policy of Papua Province. This research uses Qualitative techniques with Snow Ball Technique research informants. The conclusions of the research results are as follows: Special autonomy policy has not been implemented effectively. Limitations of policy implementation in satisfying (1) the interests of affected parties, (2) the types of benefits received, (3) the expected rate of change, (4) the location of decision making, (5) program implementers, and (6) resource commitments, theoretically, indicate a lack of intended optimality. In addition, deficiencies were identified in (7) estimating player strength; (8) foresee the interests of actors; (2009) predicted the tactics of the actors; 10) foresee regime and institutional features; (11) estimating compliance; and (12) estimate the response. In practice, the implementation of special autonomy policies has improved the Human Development Index of Papua Province. There are three types of obstacles that hinder Papua Province's efforts in implementing the special autonomy policy and improving the Human Development Index: structural, cultural, and conditional. Structural constraints are caused by the power dynamics of the political elite as well as the work culture, leadership, and mindset of the bureaucratic apparatus, most of which are KKKN. Cultural limitations are a result of the scarcity of human, social, and traditional resources that have been deeply embedded in the daily lives of indigenous Papuans. Conditional restrictions are restrictions caused by poverty caused by limitations, community decline, and remote locations. resources with an individual focus

Abstract

Digitalization has been a key driver of inclusiveness in ASEAN post-global pandemic. Through the use of digital technology, countries in ASEAN can improve accessibility and connectivity for all people, especially for marginalized communities. Through digitalization initiatives, the education, health, and economic sectors can provide more affordable and efficient services to the entire ASEAN population. In addition, digitalization also enables the creation of new jobs and economic progress that is evenly distributed throughout the ASEAN region. However, the challenges that need to be overcome are limited digital infrastructure and inequality of internet access that still exists in some regions.

Abstract

Indonesia's rapid economic development in the digital era has witnessed a significant shift from traditional cash-based public payments to digital systems. Digital payments offer enhanced convenience, efficiency, security, and user-friendliness. Among these digital payment methods, QR Codes have emerged as a crucial solution, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to a slump in the Indonesian economy due to social distancing measures. The adoption of the Quick Response Indonesian Standard (QRIS) as a cashless payment method by most Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia presents a promising solution due to its numerous advantages, including instant payment, enhanced security, easy setup, high reliability, and absence of associated charges. However, QRIS payments face limitations as they are inaccessible to foreigners without bank accounts or connections to Indonesian payment operators. To address this challenge, the Indonesian government has collaborated with four ASEAN countries to integrate the QRIS system with their respective user bases. Nevertheless, the global utilization of QRIS remains a problem that this study aims to address. One approach to promoting cross-border QR payment cooperation is to bolster the economic progress of MSMEs in each country. The objective of this study is to highlight the significant opportunities for developing integrated connectivity and cross-border QR payment codes in Indonesia. Further research is necessary to advance the development of prototypes, designs, and the implementation of integrated connectivity and cross-border QR payment code linkage on a global scale.

Abstract

Virtual Reality (VR) has seen increasing popularity in the twenty-first century, including in the field of language learning. Considerable studies on VR have explored mainly its advantages and disadvantages for language learning. However, a gap existed about the influential factors considered in incorporating VR technology, particularly for English language learning in higher education settings. Therefore, this study aimed to 1) identify important factors that influence the application of VR technology; 2) provide a systematic review of literature on the implementation categories of VR; and 3) discuss the challenges and opportunities of VR use for English language learning in higher education. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted by reviewing articles retrieved from 2018 to 2023 using a digital database library and filtered systematically using exclusion and inclusion criteria. The result showed that advanced technology, teaching and learning facilitation, and effectiveness in language learning were three major factors influencing VR implementation, which were categorized under three key elements: models, frameworks, or approaches. The study also found out that the cost of procurement and maintenance as well as lack of technical skills were the main challenges of VR use; however, the technology offered opportunities such as reducing learners’ anxiety, increasing their motivation, facilitating immersive and interactive learning experiences, developing English skills, and improving the quality of language education. It is suggested that further research and development efforts should focus on overcoming the challenges to unlock the full potential of VR technology in education
