Abstract

All economic activities that take place in the market will always produce waste. The Cikurubuk Market Temporary Dumpster (TPS) in Tasikmalaya City has not been managed properly so that it became a breeding place for flies. The application of quicklime and camphor is one of the fly control measures that can be taken in their breeding places. The goal og research to determined the difference in the effectiveness of doses of camphor and camphor mixture on reducing fly density in TPS and to found the most effective dose. The methode is experimental research and post-test only control group design. The independent variable in this study was the dose of camphor and camphor mixture, while the dependent variable was fly density. The population in this study were all flies in the Cikurubuk Market TPS in Tasikmalaya City. The samples in this study were flies trapped by fly traps. Data analysis in this study used one way anova statistical test with post hoc least significant differences (LSD) test. The results showed that the highest mean of fly density was obtained in the control group which was 16.33 flies. The lowest mean of fly density was obtained in the dose 6 treatment group, which was 5.67 flies. The results of statistical tests showed that there were differences in fly density based on variations in the dose of a mixture of quicklime and camphor in organic waste (p value = 0.000). The results of the post hoc test showed that dose 6 (5 grams of quicklime and 5 grams of camphor) was the most effective treatment group in reducing fly density in organic waste with a mean difference value of 10.667. The suggestion is necessary to take fly control measures by applying a mixture of lime and camphor to organic waste at a dose of 5 grams of lime and 5 grams of camphor per 10 liters of organic waste.

Abstract

Pneumonia is still listed as a major health problem in children in developing countries and is one of the diseases that causes the highest morbidity and mortality in children under five years of age (toddlers). Pneumonia is a form of acute repiratory infection (ARI) that attacks the lungs most often caused by viruses or bacteria. The goal of research to determine the relationship between host and environment factors with the incidence of pneumonia in toddlers. The methode is quantitative using a case control study design with a sample of 55 people. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The sampling technique for the case group was carried out by proportional random sampling and for the control group by simple random sampling. The results bivariate test showed that there a relationship between gender (p=0,039), exclusive breastfeeing (p=0,000), immunization status (p=0,000), family income (p=0,026), mothers education (p=0,032), exposure to smoking (p=0,028), and occupancy density (p=0,016) on the incidence of pneumonia in toddlers. The suggestion is increasing the role of family in supporting toodler health and providing education about healthy home also need to be done by health workers.

Abstract

Less optimal performance is affected by excessive workload. To be able to control the quantity and quality of health services at the Puskesmas, it is necessary to do a workload analysis. The research design used is descriptive-qualitative. The determination of research informants was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. Informants in this study include as many as 10 people. The main tasks of the quality management team are those who serve as junior midwives, health laboratory institutions, first-time general practitioners, supervising nurses, associate dentists, associate nutritionists, environmental sanitationists, and associate general practitioners. Additional duties of the quality management team consist of the person in charge of quality, quality secretary, PPI coordinator, risk management coordinator, patient safety coordinator, K3 coordinator, internal audit coordinator, UKM coordinator, and UKP coordinator. The workload of young specialist midwives, health laboratory personnel, and first specialist general practitioners is included in the excess category. Additional task workload requires employees to carry out quality management tasks with as many as seven people. The suggestion that can be made is to carry out workload analysis related to main and additional tasks so that members who have excessive workload can be identified so that they can redistribute tasks to employees who have less workload. In addition, education and training activities should be carried out so that the implementation of quality management duties is carried out effectively and efficiently.

Adolescence is a period of transition from children to adults. Adolescence is a period of transition from children to adults. Behavior that leads to intimacy, sexual attraction and sexual habits carried out by two people of the same sex or the opposite sex before a legal marriage is called premarital sex behavior. This study aims to determine what factors can influence adolescent premarital sexual behavior based on the behavioral theory of Lawrence Green and Sarwono and how it impacts. The method in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Informants are teenage girls who have premarital sex. The results of this study indicate predisposing factors for premarital sexual behavior, namely lack of knowledge, increased sexual libido, emotions, expectations, enabling factors for sexual behavior, namely the use of technological developments and information that is not wise. Reinforcing factors for sexual behavior are the attitudes of parents who taboo on sex, attitudes of peers that have a negative influence, delaying the age of marriage, tabooing sex, sexual violence, role vacancies, economics, conditions for joining the group. The impact of this sexual behavior is depression, low self- esteem, reproductive organ disorders, STD, pregnancy out of wedlock, sex addiction, regret, decreased school performance, social sanctions, sex becomes a teenage lifestyle, and sexual deviations. Therefore, to overcome this, it takes a wise attitude from parents, the community, health workers, and the youth themselves, so that they can get through the transition period safely.
