Abstract

The study explores the dual impacts of tourism in the religious sector, highlighting both its positive contributions and environmental challenges when sustainability principles are disregarded. A literature review employing the PRISMA method examined 55 articles from SCOPUS-indexed journals published between 2014 - 2024, resulting in 27 relevant articles on the sustainable religious tourism field. Findings underscored that religious tourism generates social, economic, and environmental impacts. A comprehensive management framework is advocated for sustainable religious tourism, necessitating collaboration among stakeholders. Central to this approach is balancing the interests of all stakeholders to mitigate conflicts of interest effectively. The study recommends formulating and implementing a religious tourism sector strategy. This involves defining management concepts, executing strategies, and enforcing supervision mechanisms to foster sustainable practices.

Abstract

This research presents a bibliometric analysis to map the development and direction of research on experiments in decision-making in courts, which focuses on publications indexed in the Scopus database from 1973 to 2024. 1973 was chosen as the start of the period because the first publication was found in that year. Bibliometric analysis methods were used, with data filtered using the Boolean search engine from the Scopus database, and analysis was carried out on June 7, 2024. Tools used for analysis included R, VosViewer, Mendeley, and Microsoft Excel. The results show fluctuations in the number of publications, with the highest peak occurring in 2022-2023 and declining in 2024. Most documents are in the field of Social Sciences, followed by Psychology, Mathematics, and Neuroscience. The United States dominates the most publications, while the main authors who contributed the most include Jones, A., along with several other authors. The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is in the top spot for a number of documents published. This research also provides an overview of research trends and collaboration in this area and can help plan future research.

Abstract

This paper explores the intersection of Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Islamic economic frameworks, focusing on their potential synergy in reshaping modern economic systems while adhering to Shariah principles. With its decentralized and transparent nature, blockchain offers innovative solutions to enhance financial transactions, governance, and trust in various sectors. Conversely, AI holds transformative power for data analytics, decision-making, and automation, opening new avenues for efficiency and innovation. By integrating these technologies into Islamic economic systems, this paper examines how they can promote financial inclusion, ensure ethical transactions, and contribute to the broader goals of Islamic economics, such as justice, equity, and social welfare. The exploration is grounded in a comprehensive review of the scholarly literature, which delves into the opportunities and challenges of implementing Blockchain and AI within a Shariah-compliant framework. Ultimately, this paper seeks to provide a roadmap for future research and practical applications of emerging technologies in the context of Islamic economic thought, fostering a balanced and sustainable approach to economic development in a globalized world.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyse the effects of diversification, bank size and bank competition on the profitability of Islamic banks for the period 2019-2023. Methodology: The data was taken from the financial statements published on each bank's website, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), and Bank Indonesia. This study uses quantitative research methods with a panel data regression approach. This study covers 10 Islamic banks with the largest assets from 2019-2023. Based on the criteria obtained through purposive sampling method, six samples or 30 data were obtained and data analysis was carried out using eviews 10. Results: Diversification increases the profitability of Islamic banks, with proper diversification banks will minimise the risk of dependence on one product. Bank Size and Bank Competition are negative indicating that in terms of assets and competition these six banks have not controlled the banking market share so that it does not affect the profitability of Islamic banks. Applications/Originality/Value: This study contributes not only to the existing literature, but also paves the way for further research exploring the interplay between diversification, bank size and bank competition in the Islamic banking sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether Return On Asset, Return On Equity, and Net Profit Margin have a significant influence on Stock Returns. This research was conducted using the object of Islamic banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2024 period. The method used in this analysis is multiple linear regression with the help of E-views software 13. The tests include model selection tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression tests. Sampling was carried out using a saturated sampling technique with a sample of 4 Islamic banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, namely Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk, Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Negara Tbk, Bank Panin Dubai Syariah Tbk, and Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk. Data is obtained from the monthly reports of each company for the 2021-2024 period, and stock return data is taken from the closing stock price every month. Based on the feasibility test, ROA, ROE, and NPM simultaneously do not affect Stock Returns. Then, based on the t-test analysis, it was stated that ROA significantly affected Stock Returns. In contrast, ROE and NPM did not significantly affect Stock Returns in Islamic banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2024 period.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the factors that affect the stock returns of consumer products businesses listed on the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index for 2019–2023. The findings of several earlier research that looked at stock returns varied. Thus, more study must be done in order to reassess stock returns. A population of 125 consumer goods companies participated in this study. During the five years of research (2019–2023), which involved 195 observations, 13 companies were chosen using the purposive sample technique. The annual report of the sample company, which is available for download from both the company's and the Indonesian Stock Exchange's (IDX) official websites, provided all of the data used in this study. Multiple regression is one of the data analysis methods used in this study. Classical assumption testing is the first step in the data analysis process. Multiple regression analysis follows, and hypothesis testing concludes. According to the research that has been done, MVA, ROE, and NPM all significantly increase stock returns. In the meanwhile, it partially demonstrates that MVA significantly affects stock returns. The stock returns of primary consumption companies in the ISSI index are positively and significantly impacted by the ROE variable. Similarly, the stock returns of primary consumption companies in the ISSI index are positively and significantly impacted by the NPM component.
