Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to describe the implementation of classroom management in the Tahfidz acceleration program for Al-Qur'an learning at MI Muhammadiyah Gumantar, Klaten. Methodology: The research focuses on teaching methods, teacher strategies in managing the class, challenges encountered, and active solutions applied. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, Tahfidz teachers, and students in the accelerated class. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation.Results: The results of the study show that the talaqqi, ziyadah, and muroja'ah methods are applied in a structured manner through classroom management strategies that emphasize small group division, motivation reinforcement, and effective time management. Challenges arise in relation to variations in student concentration and suboptimal learning support at home. This study offers an original contribution in the form of an adaptive classroom management model that can be applied to accelerated tahfidz programs in Islamic schools.Applications/Originality/Value: These findings have practical value for the development of Islamic education practices, particularly in improving the effectiveness of tahfidz learning through classroom management that is responsive to student needs.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of slang from an expressive form of language into a linguistic mechanism of verbal bullying among elementary school students. A qualitative case study was conducted at Nanggungan Elementary School involving the principal, teachers, and sixth-grade students. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings reveal that slang primarily targets physical appearance and intellectual ability, with digital media emerging as the dominant source, followed by peer interaction and, to a lesser extent, family influence. The use of derogatory slang contributes to decreased learning motivation, reduced self-confidence, emotional distress, and weakened peer relationships. This study underscores the urgent need to strengthen language ethics education, character development programs, and digital literacy initiatives in primary schools to prevent the normalization of slang-based verbal bullying and to foster a respectful and inclusive communication environment.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to conduct a systematic needs analysis of elementary school students and teachers as a basis for designing augmented reality (AR) based geometry learning media integrated with Kraton culture.Methodology: This descriptive qualitative study involved 22 fourth and fifth grade students and two teachers at SD Negeri 2 Pandean. Data were collected through a questionnaire, semi-structured teacher interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis was used, and descriptive statistics were applied to closed items. Results: Students have trouble visualizing how nets relate to solid figures with static images. They need AR features such as manipulable 3D models that can be rotated and explored. Animations that unfold and refold solid figures, along with clear highlights of faces, edges, and vertices, aid comprehension. Step by step guidance, interactive short quizzes with instant feedback, and examples connecting geometry to Kraton architecture are also needed. Teachers see potential in AR media if it offers a dedicated teacher mode, explicit usage guidelines, concise lesson segments, compatibility with mid-range devices, offline access, and a curriculum aligned balance between cultural and standard content.Applications/Originality/Value: This study provides context-sensitive and practical design guidelines for developing AR geometry learning media that address students’ spatial visualization difficulties, align with curriculum demands, and are feasible for elementary school contexts with limited technological infrastructure.

Abstract

Purpose: Driven by the low utilization of digital learning media, this study aims to examine the impact of Digital Storytelling-based interactive learning media on students' understanding of IPAS concepts.Methodology: A quantitative pretest-posttest control group design was used with fifth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Program Unggulan Colomadu. Class VA served as the control group and class VB as the experimental group. Data were collected through validated and reliable multiple-choice tests and analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test, Levene's test, independent t-test, and paired t-test.Results: Findings show that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The experimental class demonstrated a significant improvement from pretest to postest, while the control class showed only minimal gain. The independent t-test confirmed significant differences between posttest scores of both groups.Applications/Originality/Value: The study provides evidence that Digital Storytelling is an effective technology-based learning medium for improving IPAS comprehension and offers a relevant alternative for teachers in designing engaging and interactive digital learning experiences for elementary students.

Abstract

Purpose: There are three objectives of this study. 1) To describe the habit of daring to act in activities. 2) To describe the habit of making decisions without hesitation. 3) To explore the habit of expressing ideas in Civic Education learning. Methodology: This type of research uses qualitative ethnography, data collection through interviews, observation, and document analysis. Results: The results show that teachers and students consider creativity as an important aspect of Civic Education learning, where discussion, value reflection, and idea expression activities are proven to increase courage, independent thinking, and the ability to respect other people's opinions, while also making students more confident and actively involved in the learning process. Applications/Originality/Value: This study shows the practical benefits of fostering creativity in civic education learning, where discussion, reflection, and idea expression strategies can foster courage, independent thinking, and mutual respect, making them relevant for developing students' character and creativity.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the combinatorial thinking process of elementary school students in solving partition-type mathematical problems.Methodology: The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with five sixth-grade elementary school students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through written tests, observations, and semi-structured interviews, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.Results: The results showed that students went through four stages of combinatorial thinking, namely identifying, selecting, closing, and reflecting. In the identifying stage, students are able to understand the important elements of the problem; in the selecting stage, students develop strategies and find all possible divisions; in the closing stage, students draw logical conclusions; while in the reflecting stage, students recheck the results to ensure the accuracy of the procedure. These findings indicate that combinatorial thinking can improve students' systematic, reflective, and logical thinking skills in solving mathematical problems.Applications/Originality/Value: The originality of this study lies in its focus on analyzing the combinatorial thinking process of elementary school students in solving partition-type problems, which has rarely been explored in depth at the primary education level. This research not only highlights the final outcomes of problem-solving but also traces students’ thinking stages systematically through identification, strategy selection, conclusion drawing, and reflection. Thus, this study provides a new contribution to the development of combinatorial thinking research and serves as a foundation for innovative mathematics learning that emphasizes logical and reflective thinking from an early age.

Abstract

Purpose: Student rule compliance has become an inscreasingly important issue in the digital era. Civic Education learning should emphasize the cultivation of rule-abiding behavior. This article has two research objectives. 1) To describe the cultivation of rule-abiding behavior in the classroom in digital-age civic education learning among fifth-grade elementary school students. 2) To explore the cultivation of rule-abiding behavior in schools in digital-age civic education learning among fifth-grade elementary school students.Methodology: This is a qualitative-ethnographic study. The research subjects were the principal, civic education teachers, and fifth-grade student of State Elementary School 3 Tanggan, Sragen. Data collection methods included interviews, observation, and document analysis. Data validity was obtained through triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis was conducted inductively.Results: The result of the study show that 1) students began to reflect an attitude of obedience to class rules through habituation strategies, teacher role modeling, and the use of digital media. 2) Students who were guided using a contextual approach and the use of school social media successfully increased their awareness and active participation in obeying school rules.Applications/Originality/Value: This research in its qualitative ethnographic approach, which allows researvhers to directly observe interactions, habits, and the culture of student compliance in the context of Civic Eduvation learning in the digital age.

Abstract

This study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) study that aims to identify, examine, and synthesize the latest findings related to the adoption of digital marketing and e-commerce in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). By analyzing 20 selected international journals, this study explores various determinants, challenges, and impacts of digital technology implementation on MSME business performance. The results of the study reveal that technological, organizational, and environmental factors (TOE framework), digital marketing capabilities, innovation capacity, and customer connectivity through digital platforms are key elements in the adoption process. In addition, external factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic, market globalization, and competitive pressures also drive the acceleration of MSME digitalization. Other findings show that the adoption of e-commerce and digital marketing not only improves financial performance and market competitiveness, but also contributes to business sustainability, supply chain efficiency, and export market expansion, especially in the context of cross-border e-commerce. The study analysis suggests approaches for policymakers and researchers to create an MSME digital transformation strategy concerning technology and collaboration within a digital ecosystem.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants of employee performance. The methods used in this study are the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) method and Bibliometric Analysis using Vosviewer. The data source was obtained from Scopus for the period 2015-2025. Based on the results of the literature that has been reviewed with the search results for "determinant of employee performance" , 941 journals were found. Then data filtering was carried out using the PRISMA method so that 49 papers were included in the category. Of the 49 articles that have been obtained using the PRISMA SLR Analysis, 10 journals will be selected that have the highest number of citations. The results of the study say that employee performance is influenced by a combination of individual and external factors. The main determinants that affect employee performance include self-efficacy, person-job fit, motivation, training and development, interactional fairness, employee well-being, effective leadership, and external crises. These factors work together to influence how well employees can perform their duties and contribute to the organization's goals.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to map global research trends related to green property using a bibliometric approach.Methodology: Publication data were collected from scholarly databases and filtered by publication year, field of study, document type, publication stage, language, accessibility, and full access availability. The selected articles were analyzed using bibliometric tools, including VOSviewer and Bibliometrix-R.Results: The analysis shows a significant increase in publications on green property since 2018. Sustainability (Switzerland) appears as the primary publication source, while Chuweni, N.N. and Fauzi, N.S. are identified among productive authors. Main topics include green housing, energy efficiency, and environmentally friendly buildings.Applications/Originality/Value: This research contributes to the expansion of green property literature and provides recommendations for future studies focusing on energy efficiency policies, green certification, green infrastructure, and sustainable property development.
