Abstract

This research aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) that can assist in selecting the best bus for tourism purposes in Toraja. The objective of this research is to facilitate the decision-making process for prospective tourists who want to use buses as their means of transportation during their visit to Toraja. The method employed in this research is the Weighted Product (WP) method. This method was chosen due to its ability to handle multiple criteria, enabling selection based on various relevant factors such as price, service quality, bus capacity, operational schedule, and level of comfort. Furthermore, the collected data will be input into the developed DSS using the WP method. The DSS will calculate relative scores for each bus based on the predetermined criteria weights. The results of this research are expected to provide objective and accurate recommendations for selecting the best bus. These recommendations can serve as a guide for prospective tourists in choosing a bus that suits their needs and preferences. Additionally, this research can also provide valuable insights for bus operators in improving service quality and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The campus has an organization to develop the potential of its students according to the student division therefore This study aims to create a web-based service information system for student organizations in order to facilitate the service and implementation of procedures for submitting proposals and activity reports. The data were obtained through observations, Correspondence documents, direct interviews with the campus and organizational management. This system is built using visual studio code and mysql as a database storage service. The system development method in this research uses the waterfall method with the stages, namely analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation (maintenance programs). The results of this study indicate that the student organization service information system can run well. Based on the results of testing using blackbox testing techniques obtained 81% results from respondents, so it is said to be suitable for use based on the tests carried out.

Abstract

The Final Project guidance process often faces obstacles such as inflexible schedules, limited space and time, and difficulties in communication between supervisors and students directly. This study aims to implement a web-based Final Project guidance system using the Laravel framework designed using the Waterfall method and the PHP programming language and MySQL as a database. Data in this study were obtained through observation, literature studies and interviews. Testing in this study was carried out using the Black Box method and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The results showed that this application was feasible for use by students and lecturers with an average test score on the Usability aspect of 86.68%, on the Information Quality aspect of 84.88%, and on the Service Interaction Quality aspect of 83.86%. Based on the feasibility category interval of 81% - 100%, this system was declared very feasible for use, in addition this system was able to overcome traditional obstacles in the Final Project guidance process.

Abstract

Dalam operasional bandara, peralatan elektronika seperti CCTV, sistem penerangan, sistem kontrol akses, sistem komunikasi, dan lainnya merupakan komponen penting yang memastikan keamanan, keselamatan, dan kelancaran aktivitas di bandara. Namun, dengan jumlah peralatan yang besar dan tersebar di berbagai lokasi, pemantauan manual menjadi tidak efisien dan memakan banyak waktu serta sumber daya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem monitoring peralatan elektronika berbasis website di bandara sultan hasanuddin makassar dan mengimplementasikan sistem monitoring peralatan elektronika berbasis website di bandara sultan hasanuddin makassar. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu dihasilkan sebuah aplikasi sistem controlling peralatan elektronika berbasis website dibandara Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar untuk logbook peralatan pada bandara dan hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemantauan peralatan elektronika. Responsifitas terhadap gangguan juga meningkat karena personel dapat dengan cepat mengidentifikasi masalah dan mengambil tindakan yang diperlukan. Sistem ini telah membantu mengurangi downtime peralatan dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional bandara.

Abstract

Motorcycle theft continues to rise in various regions, highlighting the need for more reliable security systems. Conventional protection methods, such as double locks or standard alarms, have proven to be vulnerable and insufficient. This research aims to design and implement a motorcycle security system based on WiFi MAC address authentication from the owner's smartphone. The system is built using the ESP8266 microcontroller, which scans nearby devices and matches their MAC addresses against a pre-registered list. If a match is found, the vehicle is allowed to start. In addition to authentication, the system is equipped with a vibration sensor to detect suspicious activity when the motorcycle is in an OFF state. Test results indicate that the system can effectively distinguish between authorized and unauthorized devices, and responds accurately and promptly under various test conditions

Abstract

Sentiment analysis is one of the essential techniques in natural language processing for identifying user opinions toward a product or service. This study aims to evaluate the performance of the Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) methods in sentiment analysis of user comments on the Kitalulus application. A total of 2,500 comments collected from user reviews were utilized and underwent several preprocessing stages, including case folding, tokenization, stopword removal, stemming, and padding. The processed data were then trained using both RNN and LSTM models with similar architectural configurations. The experimental results show that the LSTM method outperforms RNN, achieving the highest accuracy of 91.51%, while RNN attained 88.48%. These findings demonstrate that LSTM is more effective in capturing long-term dependencies in textual data, making it more suitable for sentiment analysis of user comments on the application.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan dan kompetensi para guru SMA Negeri 10 Maros  dalam penguasaan Google Classroom sebagai  media pembelajaran  di Sekolah. Metode yang  dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode praktikum secara langsung dan metode ceramah. Metode kegiatan terdiri dari 3 (tiga tahapan) yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahapan evalusi. Tahap persiapan terdiri dari persiapan dari peserta maupun tim pengabdian masyarakat STMIK AKBA. Tahap pelaksanaan mengenai proses pelaksanaan kegitan dengan presentasi materi oleh tim pengabdian Masyarakat STMIK AKBA. Tahap evaluasi bagi peserta untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman peserta terhadap penjelasan materi. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertempat di ruang Laboratorium  Komputer SMA Negeri 10 Maros.  Dengan adanya pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat membantu para guru dalam memanfaatkan dan menerapkan google classroom sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif di SMA Negeri 10 Maros
