Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect consumer preferences in choosing Islamic banking services. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires, with 186 respondents selected as the samples from four universities in Ternate. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CPA) was used for the data analysis in which the internal and external factors existed. The interpretation on indicator numbers of each factor was devoted to increase factor interpretation factor and determine models based on loading factor. Overall, the results indicate 11 indicators affecting consumers’ preference to Islamic banking services in Ternate. For one thing, the results of research indicate that consumers’ knowledge about type of banks does not affect their preference. This implies no correlation between them due to no clear understanding about religious affiliation influences to the selection of banks. In addition, the results showed family factors affect the consumers’ preference in choosing banks. It means family support influences the choice. Moreover, numerous product choices do not moderate consumers' preference. This study contends that information from media influences consumers’ preference. The higher the access to information media, the more chances consumers will opt for Islamic bank services. The factor analysis data management result reveals 11 items while KMO test value is 0,793> 0,5. Thus, it is feasible to use. This meaning that support is very influential on the choice, the results mention the product does not affect on the effectiveness of melting is more and more product. The choice of consumers to a product, the result of research mention information from the media on the selection of bank have influence. The higher the access of information media, the more chance consumers choose sharia bank service. The result of data management by using factor analysis is 11 items while KMO value in factor analysis test 0.793>0.5 then KMO value above factor analysis is feasible to use.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of market sensing capabilities and product innovation capabilities on marketing performance through market penetration as a bridge to solve gaps regarding the impact of product innovation capabilities on marketing performance. Data is collected empirically from the owner of Batik UMKM (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in Bangkalan Regency, Madura, East JavaDistribusi Sampel diberikan kepada 120 dengan menggunakan teknik sample random sampling . Model persamaan struktural (SEM) dengan perangkat lunak AMOS digunakan untuk menguji model dan hipotesis penelitian. The results of data analysis show that the research model has good fit. Five hypotheses are proposed and all hypotheses can be proven, especially the ability of market penetration in bridging the capabilities of product innovation and marketing performance. To get market penetration in marketing performance by looking at market sensing capabilities, to get good marketing performance also by looking at the capabilities of product innovation without going through market penetration

To clarify the position of wages, the Ministry of Manpower through the Decree of the Minister of Manpower No. 13 of 2003 concerning the minimum wage explains several functions of wages, including; First, wages function to meet minimum basic needs for workers and their families. Second, employers in providing labor wages are calculated based on the results of production. Third, in industrial relations Pancasila, labor wages are not only part of the production costs but also have a social function, namely to meet the needs of a decent life for workers and their families. Abstract

The study investigates the basic behavior of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Fuel Ratio (lt/bcm/km) which has created confusion among analysts and decision makers in a mining company by its anomaly in measuring fuel efficiency. This investigation is a part of a KPI Life Cycle which known as KPI Assessment phase to review if the KPI still has the capability to provide a good measurement. The method of this research is using combination of both qualitative and quantitative approach. Started with Business Process Analysis (BPA) approach to modelling current KPI formulation into a flow chart diagram with cause-effect technique. Then the results from BPA phase are validated through simulation analysis in both deterministic and stochastic Monte Carlo methods. To support the validation phase, actual operational data is collected from database. The results discovered that anomaly of this KPI was occurred because current formulation incorporating parameters that irrelevant with haul distance variable. Once the irrelevant parameters were eliminated from the calculation in the simulation experimentation, the anomaly of the KPI was disappeared. The findings of this research suggest that the KPI measurement required a new formulation to create a more reliable and robust tool to monitor the fuel efficiency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of employment social security for workers at the village level through the Social Security Organizing Agency in Langsa-Aceh City. The type of research used is empirical juridical, the approach method used in this research is sociological juridical namely obtaining the truth empirically by directly reviewing the community towards the implementation of social security protection for workers at the village level. In reality the implementation of social security protection for workers at the village level has not run optimally, even though the social security contributions for the employment program are not taken from the salaries of the workers, but are funded by the government, there are 2 (two) obstacles which are internal policies of each -one of the village heads, and workers' lack of understanding of the rights to social security protection they have while externally is a lack of socialization from the Social Security Organizing Board so that misunderstandings of information received by the village head, and the election of new village heads are in the process. Efforts are made to improve socialization and provide detailed understanding to the village head about the objectives and benefits of the social security employment program for workers. Abstract

This paper aims to describe the conceptual model of informal business development applied to “Tibo-Tibo” fisherwomen in North Minahasa Regency. Data and information were obtained by observation and structured interviews to “Tibo-Tibo” fisherwomen, business partners and village governments. The data was analyzed qualitatively by using Miles Huberman perspective, through stages: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. After going through the validity of experts, this paper produced a conceptual model of informal business development based on intellectual capital namely human capital, social capital and organizational capital. This paper recommends that through the intellectual capital approach "Tibo-Tibo" fisher women's business can be improved through empowerment. Empowerment in the form of human capital will increase the added value products with the availability of a variety of products for frozen food businesses and products for culinary businesses. Empowerment in the form of social capital will strengthen the values of relationships with business partners, trust to customers and employees and strengthen the work culture "mapalus" (local wisdom for the community) such as cooperation and helping each other. Empowerment in the form of organizational will strengthening the management and organizational professionalism as well as the acknowledgment of business license and product brands by consumers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is generally to gain implication of hyperbaric oxygen with 1.5 ATA and 2.4 ATA pressures toward maximum aerobic capacity improvement (VO2 Max) and the anaerobic endurance. This experimental research uses randomized controlled group pretest and posttest design. The tests were bleep or MFT test to measure the maximum aerobic capacity (VO2 Max) and RAST test to measure the anaerobic endurance. The conclusion of this research is hyperbaric with 1.5 ATA and 2.4 ATA significantly influenced the maximum aerobic capacity improvement (VO2 Max) and anaerobic endurance. Hyperbaric oxygen with 1.5 and 2.4 ATA did not have any differences in improving the maximum aerobic capacity (VO2 Max) and the anaerobic endurance.
