Abstract

The objective of this investigation is to scrutinise the inclinations of users towards the adoption of digital wallets. The present study involves an examination of diverse factors, namely perceived utility, ease of use, compatibility, innovation, social influence, and insecurity. Digital wallets have become an innovative payment alternative that provides users with ease, security, and easy and fast financial activities. The Bank Indonesia program GNNT (National Non-Cash Movement), which seeks to establish a cashless society, supports the use of digital wallets. However, e-wallet usage consistency remains low and unsatisfactory. The current study aims to investigate how perceived technological innovation affects the relationship between behavior intention and sustained adoption of digital wallets. This study employs the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory to investigate the behavioral determinants that prompt consumers to sustain their utilization of digital wallets. It is expected that this conceptual paper will identify the factors that will help service providers in developing payment service processes using digital wallets, so that the public is more inclined to use them. Keywords: Digital Wallets, Behavioral Intention, Technology Acceptance Model, Perceived Technological Innovativeness, Finance

The research approach employed in this study is explanatory. The population of interest consists of accounting students enrolled in state universities in Medan City. A random sample of 100 respondents was selected for the study. The data analysis method utilized is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The discussion of the results reveals that Machiavellian behavior influenced students' ethical perceptions. Additionally, the study found that religiosity and gender both have an impact on students' ethical perceptions. However, based on the data analysis, it was determined that the Love of Money variable does not serve as an intervening variable.

Abstract

This writing aims to propose a concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) based on the wisdom of the Bugis-Makassar community, particularly drawing inspiration from the values of Sipakalebbi, Sipakatau, and Sipakainge nusantara. We use a three-step method consisting of content analysis through document review. The reviewed documents include news from trusted online media sources and CSR reports from various companies, which are analyzed to understand the flow of CSR funds. The third step involves extracting the values of Bugis-Makassar Sipakalebbi, Sipakatau, and Sipakainge nusantara wisdom as a framework for a just CSR concept. We found that a CSR concept based on these three Bugis-Makassar values can serve as a compass and character builder for corporate CSR initiatives in Indonesia. These three values are expected to uphold justice for society and the environment. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become an integral part of modern business practices, aimed at promoting positive impacts on society and the environment. In the context of Indonesia, this research proposes a CSR concept rooted in the wisdom of the Bugis-Makassar community, specifically drawing inspiration from the values of Sipakalebbi, Sipakatau, and Sipakainge.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to identify the factors that lead to financial difficulties for businesses in the transportation sector. Many separate theoretical investigations and empirical studies on the causes of financial distress were pooled together to form the basis for this inquiry. This research strategy takes a causal associational tack. Purposive sampling was used to select 16 transportation-related companies trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the study's time period (2019-2021). Logistic regression using SPSS 25 is the method used for analysis. Financial difficulty was found to be related solely to the size of the company. Meanwhile, inflation and currency rates, both macroeconomic variables, have little effects on financial distress. In order for it to serve as a cohesive role model, we suggest that future research on financial distress through firm size, which is a component of financial and macroeconomic ratios, be prioritized. Most of the previous research only used the variable financial ratios as a whole and no one has detailed them yet. However, the focus of the significance of our research is on the comprehensive and overall description of these aspects as well as the details of the drivers of financial distress.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology and the internet has significantly impacted the business world, including Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). MSMEs play a crucial role in economic growth, particularly in Asia, as they contribute to a significant portion of exports and serve as key drivers of job creation and income distribution. However, MSMEs require support from various stakeholders to enhance their environmental performance. In the current digital era, having an online presence can be one way for MSMEs to leverage digital technology. An effective approach to expanding marketing reach and increasing product sales for MSMEs is through marketing websites. This research aims to develop a marketing website for an MSME using the Waterfall method, focusing on PT. Keloria Moringa Jaya is a herbal supplement company in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The study will explore the implementation of Affiliate Marketing in the website development process using the Waterfall method. The research intends to enhance the visibility of PT. Keloria Moringa Jaya's products attract more potential buyers and significantly increase sales. The study also aims to contribute to the literature by enriching the understanding of applying the Affiliate Marketing model in the context of MSMEs. Practical implications of this research include providing guidance and recommendations for other MSMEs interested in developing marketing websites using the Affiliate Marketing model and the Waterfall method.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia has experienced developments related to the use of technology. Learning on personal computers (PC) and smartphone technology devices is common, and it is also referred to as "hybrid learning." However, when researchers conducted a survey of SMK students in Surakarta, even though they had used personal computers or gadgets, they only used a few media software programs to study engineering material. Seeing this phenomenon, researchers want to identify students' needs for media software, namely mobile augmented reality. This identification aims to provide a critical initial analysis of the need for mobile augmented reality learning media software that is connected to a smartphone for engineering learning for SMK students. The research samples involved were students of SMK N 2 Surakarta and SMK N 5 Surakarta. Using questionnaires, field observations, and interviews as data collection techniques. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. Define part of the 4D research model using the research method, and the research results show that SMK students in Surakarta require mobile augmented reality media in learning engineering material if hybrid learning is used.
