Abstract

Tourism plays a crucial role in the Indonesian economy. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has substantially impacted the tourism industry. One of the destinations that have been heavily affected is the Ijen Crater. Virtual tourism has emerged as a crucial tool for promoting destinations, including the Ijen Crater, and is helpful to both tourists and tourism managers. This study examines the influence of information access, flow, and telepresence, representing the virtual reality (VR) experience of the Ijen Crater, on tourists' intention to visit the site. Hedonic value mediates the relationship between the VR experience and visits intention on the Ijen Crater. The study involved 117 respondents who had experienced Ijen crater virtual reality, and the SEM-PLS method was used for analysis. The research findings indicate that flow and telepresence have a significant influence on hedonic value, and flow itself has an indirect effect on visit intention. While information access does not significantly impact hedonic values, information access and telepresence do not indirectly influence visit intention to The ijen crater. These findings contribute new insights for researchers, stakeholders, and managers of Ijen tourism.

Abstract

Good audit quality can improve the quality of financial statements and the trust of the  users. This study aims to analyze the effect of Audit Fee (FEE), Audit Tenure (TNR), Audit Rotation (ROT), and Public Accounting Firm Reputation (RPT) on Audit Quality (QLT) and analyze the effect of the Audit Committee (CMT) in moderating FEE, TNR, ROT, and RPT on QLT. The research sample used purposive sampling method in financial sector service companies listed on the IDX in 2017-2022 and there were 36 companies with 216 data. The data analysis method used SPSS 25 and Eviews 13. The results showed that FEE and ROT had no effect on QLT. TNR has an effect on QLT. RPT has a negative effect on QLT. CMT strengthens the effect of TNR on QLT. CMT cannot moderate the effect of RPT on QLT. The novelty of this research is that it modifies the audit committee measurement from previous research. This research has implications for financial sector service companies so that the Audit Committee in appointing Public Accounting Firm should consider the length of time Public Accounting Firm has been engaged with the same company in a row.

Abstract

The Manpower and Transmigration Office, also known as Disnakertrans provides direct services to the community, including the issuance of the AK-I cover letter commonly known as the "Kartu Kuning”. A significant issue has emerged at the Disnakertrans, where the process of obtaining an AK-1 takes more than 20 minutes, surpassing the average time expected by job seekers. Additionally, daily quotas for AK-I issuance are restricted due to Covid-19 regulations. To assess and enhance service quality for AK-I issuance at Disnakertrans Banten Province, a service satisfaction method is imperative. This study employs the Fuzzy Servqual method. The research reveals a noteworthy negative gap in the reliability dimension, particularly concerning two attributes. The first attribute (Question 7) addresses the ability of officers to guide job seekers through the AK-1 application process. The second attribute (Question 8) pertains to the accuracy of officers in entering data according to the specified requirements. These findings underscore the importance of addressing issues related to the reliability dimension, particularly the officer's ability to guide the application process and ensure accurate data entry. By focusing on these aspects, Disnakertrans can make targeted improvements to enhance overall service quality and meet the expectations of service users.
