Abstract

In the aspect of Islamic shari'a, it stipulates matters of daily application, including the manner of dress which is permissible in the Koran. Women get more attention in this matter, considering that their bodies contain beauty that must be covered so that it does not become a spectacle and slander for the opposite sex which is not their muhrim, it is then called aurat. The opinion of the majority of the Ulama is that male genitalia is from the navel to the knees while the female genitalia is the entire body except the face and palms. This article discusses how the application of the hijab in the days of the decree to close the aurat. hijab in the sense of closing the aurat is the command of Allah through his apostle but the boundary of the hijab is not agreed upon by the ulama. In the early days of sahabiyyat, covering their faces and heads, the implementation of the hijab by covering the entire body, including the head and face, was a response to the obedience of sahaiyyat against the command to use the hijab, not a shari'ah order from the Prophet. over time the trend of hijab appears to be inseparable from each other's understanding of the boundaries of women's genitals so that the veil, niqab, and khimar appear, all of which refer to the order to cover the genitals and are greatly affected by the boundaries of the aurat's understanding and fatwa of the ulema.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the meaning of symbolic philosophy contained in patuaekkon tradition at the wedding of Mandailing Batak Muslim community in Kampung Harapan Village, Pasaman Regency. This research article uses the field research method, in which the researcher collects data directly at the research location to strengthen the results of the philosophical meaning contained in patuaekkon tradition with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the meaning of symbolic philosophy of patuaekkon tradition consists of water symbolizing purity, kaffir lime symbolizing cleanliness, silunjuang leaves symbolizing self-adjustment, midrib leaf of banana stem and miracle leaves symbolizing peace and tranquility, nacar symbolizing the process of life's journey, ulos symbolizing blessing and affection, onang-onang song as an expression of joy, praise, hope, advice, and prayer. Poda has a meaning as advice in social life, ways to find a good and right livelihood, and habits in life.Artikel ini bertujuan  untuk menguraikan makna filosofi simboik yang terkandung dalam tradisi patuakkon pada pernikahan komunitas Muslim Batak Mandailing  Perbatasan utara di Kampung Harapan Kabupaten Pasaman. Penelitian artikel ini menggunakan metode field reasearch, dimana peneliti mengumpulkan data-data secara langsung di lokasi penelitian untuk memperkuat hasil makna filosofi yang terkandung dalam tradisi patuaekkon dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makna filosofi simbolik  tradisi patuaekkon terdiri dari air melambangkan kesucian, jeruk purut melambangkan kebersihan, daun silunjuang melambangkan penyusaian diri, pelepah batang pisang dan daun cocor bebek melambangkan kedamaian dan ketentraman, nacar melambangkan proses perjalanan hidup, ulos sebagai makna restu dan kasih sayang, lagu onang-onang sebagai ungkapan kegembiraan, pujian, harapan, nasehat, dan do’a, poda memiliki makna sebagai nasehat dalam berkehidupan sosial, cara-cara mencari penghidupan yang baik dan benar, dan kebiasaan yang dilakukan dalam kehidupan

Abstract

Pendidik atau Guru menjadi komponen terpenting dalam sebuah sistem pendidikan karena guru ibarat menjadi jantung yang mengedarkan darah ke seluruh jaringan tubuh, begitu pula posisi guru yang menjadi sentral transformasi, internalisasi dan eksternalisasi nilai-nilai dan materi pendidikan dalam sebuah sistem pendidikan. Kajian tentang pendidik atau guru baik dalam ranah konseptual maupun ranah aktual selalu menarik dan penting dilakukan terutama oleh para ahli atau intelektual yang concern dengan pendidikan. Makalah ini disusun juga sebagai bagian dari upaya intelektual untuk menjelaskan konsep pendidik dalam perspektif Alquran. Beberapa sub pokok kajian yang akan penulis jelaskan antara lain: pengertian pendidik, subjek-subjek pendidik yang tertuang dalam Alquran berikut tafsir terhadap ayat-ayat yang membicarakan konsep pendidik tersebut, dan beberapa karakter ideal pendidik dalam konteks pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the competency of intercultural communication in Southern Malay Thailand students in Indonesian languages in UINSU Medan. This study using the Theory of Intercultural Communication Competence of Samovar (2010). This research method uses qualitative research which is approaching the hermeneutic phenomenological study. The research subject is Southern Malay Thailand students in UINSU Medan. The Informants were 4 Students which is obtained through Snowball Sampling. Data collection method is observation, interview, and documentation. Analysis of this study is using thematic. The Data Triangulation have done to 3 (Three) indigenous students and 1 (one) Lecturer. The result of this study is showing that Southern Malay Thailand Students have been competency of intercultural communication, which is we can see it from seven (7) components ; experience, motivation, knowledge, mastering the language, attitudes, adopting the intercultural communication and behaviour.The obstacles of this students is only about Language (Bahasa), they’re less mastering the languages so that sometimes they’re missunderstanding the meaning. Another barriers is the speed in talking, the communication in Medan usually  have loud voice and high intonation.

Abstract

AbstractThis paper examines the struggle of the militant ranks Hezbollah at the Front Padang Area. Most of the literature written only talks about the role of regular soldiers (official soldiers recruited by the government) who often fight in the front lines, even though the activation of the militias also contributed the most significant contribution to the struggle at that time physical revolution. The Hezbollah written in this article is Hezbollah in the Padang Region, especially those who are members of the Padang City Hezbollah, who are aware of the existing situation and conditions, so they are persistently trying to reclaim their homeland from the colonial powers of the Allies and the Dutch who want to re-establish their power. The research method in this paper is the historical method, which critically examines and analyzes records and relics. The research steps consist of four stages: Heuristics, Criticism, Interpretation and Historiography. In collecting data and research materials, both historical actors and witnesses were used, apart from using literature and documentary studies and interviews with sources. The result of this research is that the struggle of the Hezbollah Army (Lasykar) of Padang City is based on the intention of "Jihad FiiSabillilah" to struggle to uphold the State and Religion solely for the sake of Allah, only with great encouragement and very simple motivation. However, the principle cannot be separated from any political influence. Hezbollah army has a firm stance that all disturbances and disturbances to public order that occur in the city of Padang are the responsibility of all levels of society in the city of Padang.Keywords: Hezbollah army, Corporal Revolution, Front of Padang Area AbstrakTulisan  ini mengkaji tentang perjuangan barisan kelaskaran Hizbullah di Front Padang Area. Selama ini literatur mengenai barisan  perjuangan yang banyak ditulis hanya peranan tentara reguler (tentara resmi yang direkrut pemerintah) saja yang sering berjuang dibarisan depan, padahal aktivasi dari barisan kelaskaran juga memberikan sumbangan terbesar dalam perjuangan pada masa revolusi fisik. Hizbullah yang ditulis  dalam artikel ini  adalah Hizbullah  di Daerah Padang, khususnya  yang  tergabung  dalam  Hizbullah Kota Padang  telah  sadar  terhadap  situasi  dan  kondisi yang ada, sehingga dengan gigih mereka berusaha merebut kembali tanah airnya dari kekuasaan penjajahan  Sekutu  dan  Belanda  yang  ingin  menancapkan  kembali kekuasaanya. Metode Penelitian dalam tulisan ini adalah Metode  Historis,  yaitu proses menguji dan menganalisis secara kritis rekaman dan peningalan masa lampau. Adapun langkah-langkah penelitian terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: Heuristik,  Kritik, Interpretasi dan Historiografi. Dalam mengumpulkan data dan bahan penelitian, selain mengunakan studi literatur dan dokumenter, digunakan pula wawancara terhadap narasumber, baik pelaku dan saksi sejarah. Hasil Penelitian ini adalah Perjuangan Lasykar Hizbullah Kota Padang tersebut dilandasi niat “Jihad Fii Sabillilah” berjuang menegakan Negara dan Agama semata-mata hanya karena Allah, Hanya dengan dorongan semangat yang besar serta motivasi yang sangat sederhana namun prinsipnya tidak terlepas dari pengaruh politik manapun, Lasykar Hizbullah ini mempunyai  ketegasan  pendirian  bahwa  segala  kekacauan  dan  ganguan terhadap  ketertiban  masyarakat  yang terjadi di Kota Padang adalah tangung jawab semua lapisan masyarakat yang berada di Kota Padang.Kata Kunci: Lasykar Hizbullah, Revolusi Fisik, Front Padang Area

Abstract

When discussing the issue of political parties, there are still many people who do not want to know and do not want to know (apathetic) to politics in the party. Whereas the influence of the party in the life of the state will determine the fate of the people and the country in the future. In addition, not a few who think that between politics and religion can not be united, because it is a unit that is separate from each other. This assumption is ambiguous, because almost all scholars and figures have described the importance of politics (party) for the sustainability of Muslims in particular. The importance of this writing is in order to help rebuild the framework of thinking about this political party. Starting from the thin level of public awareness to be aware of politics. So briefly described in this paper that, Islam needs power (political party), without it will greatly affect the existence of Islam in the future will come. Therefore, in the party, it is needed the mobilizers who have high ideals to fight for it, in accordance with the goals of the Shari'a and the ideals of the state contained in the Constitution and Pancasila which based on Islamic values. Therefore, power should be given to people having the capacity for it, not just for the sake of momentary interest or group interests. This is very important because the policy or law that is born will also be determined by who plays a role in it and must be realized that the political party is one of the most influential way in maintaining the piety of religion, people and nation. Ketika membahas persoalan partai politik, masih banyak diantara masyarakat yang tidak mau tahu dan tidak ingin tahu (apatis) terhadap perpolitikan yang ada di dalam partai. Padahal pengaruh partai dalam kehidupan bernegara sangat menentukan nasib rakyat dan negara kedepannya. Di samping itu tidak sedikit yang berfikir bahwa antara politik dengan agama tidak bisa disatukan, sebab ia merupakan satuan yang terpisah satu sama lain. Anggapan ini rancu, sebab hampir semua ulama dan tokoh telah menguraikan akan pentingnya politik (partai) bagi keberlangsungan umat Islam khususnya. Pentingnya penulisan ini adalah dalam rangka membantu membangun kembali kerangka berfikir tentang partai politik ini. Bertolak dari tipisnya tingkat kesadaran masyarakat untuk sadar terhadap politik. Maka secara singkat dijelaskan dalam tulisan ini bahwa, Islam butuh kekuasaan (partai politik), tanpanya akan sangat mempengaruhi eksistensi Islam dimasa akan dating. Untuk itu dalam partai dibutuhkan para penggerak yang memiliki cita tinggi untuk memperjuangkannya, sesuai dengan tujuan syariat serta cita-cita negara yang termuat dalam Undang-Undang Dasar dan Pancasila yang berasaskan nilai-nilai islami. Oleh karena itu, kekuasaan hendaknya diberikan kepada orang memiliki kapasitas untuk itu, bukan hanya untuk kepentingan sesaat atau kepentingan golongan saja. Hal tersebut sangat penting karena kebijakan atau hukum yang dilahirkan juga akan ditentukan oleh siapa yang berperan di dalamnya dan harus disadari bahwa partai politik merupakan salah satu jalan yang amat berpengaruh dalam menjaga kemashlahatan agama, rakyat dan bangsa.

Abstract

This paper describes the fundamental teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, the development of religious knowledge, and the social and political context that shaped the intellectual tradition of Islam. Abdullah Saeed, in the transmission of spiritual experience and Islamic thought, introduced the basic teachings of Islam. The emergence of Islam is closely related to the history of its birthplace, the city of Mecca. Besides, Abdullah Saeed also discussed the beginning of the development of religious knowledge, which was immediately explained by the Qur'an and the emergence of sects that influenced the course of change towards truth. Each of these sects and sects has its doctrine, and if there is anything against it, there is undoubtedly a separate assessment of the differences that are believed. Several groups with various theological or religio-political orientations emerged. Among them are Kharijis (khawarij), Shia, Qadaris (qadariyya), Mu‘tazilis (mu‘tazila), Jabris (jabriyya) and Murji'is (murji'a).

Abstract

This paper explains and describes how tarekat and Sufi political resistance as agents of change and liberation from colonialism in the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah order. A Sufi is not a person who only dwells on spirituality, but also with social and political problems, such as resistance and rebellion against colonial rule. In carrying out this resistance, it cannot be separated from the encouragement of the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah order. It was the tarekat that played an active role in defending colonialism, which criticized society and the oppression that had been perpetrated by colonialism. In carrying out his defense action, the Sufi order of the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah order taught knowledge to his students to fight against colonialism. Fighting colonialism was not easy to go through. It even claimed many lives. Seeing this reality did not diminish the spirit of the tarekat in carrying out their actions as defenders of society in colonialism over colonialism. In this discussion, the authors use the library method by using various related sources in books, journals, and articles. Thus this paper attempts to unravel the problems of Sufism and political resistance and Sufi roles in liberation from colonialism pioneered by the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah tarekat. Tulisan ini menjelaskan dan menguraikan tentang bagaimana peran tarekat dalam perlawanan politik, sufi sebagai agen perubahan dan pembebasan dari kolonialisme dalam tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah. Seorang sufi bukanlah orang yang hanya berkutat pada spiritualitas, tetapi juga dengan persoalan sosial dan politik, seperti perlawanan dan pemberontakan terhadap penjajahan kolonial. Dalam melakukan perlawanan tersebut tidak bisa terelepas dari dorongan para tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah. Tarekatlah yang sangat berperan aktif dalam melakukan pembelaan dari penjajahan  kolonialisme yang mengecam masyarakat dan ketertindasan yang telah dilakukan oleh para kolonialisme. Dalam menjalankan asksi pembelaannya, sufi tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah mengajarkan ilmu kepada muridnya untuk berjihad melawan penjajahan. Dalam melawan kolonialisme tidak mudah untuk dilalui, bahkan banyak memakan korban jiwa. Melihat realitas tersebut tidak memudarkan semangat para tarekat dalam menjalankan aksinya sebagai pembela masyarakat dalam penjajahan atas kolonialisme. Dalam pembahasan ini penulis menggunakan metode kepustakaan dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber yang terkait berupa buku, jurnal serta artikel. Dengan begitu tulisan ini mencoba untuk menjelaskan bagaimana tasawuf dan perlawanan politik, serta sufi berperan dalam pembebasan dari kolonialisme yang dipelopori oleh tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah.

Abstract

Ta’arudh (contradiction in understanding) between the ulama in understanding the syara texts' especially in the interpretation of the Koran became one of the principles of the birth of nasikh and mansukh theories. This article contains an analytical descriptive explanation of Nasakh, namely a statement that indicates the existence of an annulment of existing law, then nasikh, namely the argument that comes later that removes and replaces the existing law and mansukh, namely the previous law which has been deleted and replaced by the coming argument after that. Correct knowledge of the text that is nhurical and which can help one in understanding the context of the passage of a text of the Qur'an and can also know which part of the text of the Qur'an comes down first and which comes down later. Besides that, the knowledge of the Nasakh will also strengthen our belief that the source of the Qur'an which is essential is from Allah SWT. He is the one who removes a verse and replaces it with others according to His will. The problem of nasikh and mansukh is not something that stands alone, it is a part that is in the disciplines of interpretation and the science of ushul fiqh. Knowledge of nasikh and mansukh is very useful so that knowledge about the law is not chaotic and blurred. Therefore there are many atsar (sayings of friends) that encourage to know this problem. Especially for the present, knowledge of this theory is needed so as not to carelessly swallow and regurgitate the Qur'anic verses so that it is feared that it can tarnish its sanctity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and explain the concept of understanding of hadith in one day one hadith in whatsap which includes the understanding of hadith material. The emergence of One Day One Hadith (ODOH) itself only exists in contemporary times now, because it is the effect of the rapid development of technology and information and communication that is increasingly sophisticated. Especially in the media of Whatsaap there is a textualist (closed), hermeneutic, and contextualist understanding of the Prophet's hadith, so that the message or message conveyed can be disseminated and practiced. Whatsaap is one of the many social media that can communicate anything to humans in various regions, especially information about the hadith. This study is based on the assumption that the dynamics of hadith studies in the global era and social media dias are at least the impact of the emergence of traditions contained in whatsaap. The birth of one day one hadith effort itself is at least not departing from an empty space. Socially the system adopted in one day one hadith (ODOH) has given its own color for Indonesia, especially Muslims. With the step of spreading the hadith one day one hadith, the point is to make it easier to find and understand the hadith. Therefore, further analysis and study of the concept of understanding in one day one hadith in whatsap in the current era. This research uses a type of library research (lebrary research) that is research by collecting data and studying books or library literature related to this discussion. Then in data management using descriptive and analysis methods (content analysis). Whereas in drawing conclusions using the deductive method in which the collected data is processed systematically and selectively, then conclusions are drawn which are the results of the study. The results of this study indicate that the hadith lives up to the end of time, in understanding it it is necessary to use various concepts of understanding including textual, hermeneutic, and contextual, so that in understanding the hadith is not confusing when dealing with problems in contemporary times now.
